The news was first reported on social media by Jim Wyatt. Davidson was a contributor throughout the 2023 season that should capture a role for himself in 2024.

 27.

 28.
The former second-round pick flashed intriguing abilities down the stretch in five regular-season appearances with the Titans. For example, Davidson recorded two pressures and two quarterback hurries while earning himself a season-high pass rush grade of 67.6 from Pro Football Focus in a Week 16 defeat to the Seattle Seahawks. Davidson played 45 snaps in that game, which accounted for 76.3% of all Titans defensive plays. Davidson played another 59 defensive snaps in Tennessee’s final two games. He recorded his only sack in a Week 15 loss to the Houston Texans.

 29.
The Titans lost Denico Autry to free agency earlier this offseason. Arden Key is viewed as a rotational rusher. The Titans don’t have currently have a straightforward answer opposite Harold Landry III on early downs. Davidson is a versatile defender with inside-outside capabilities. Sebastian Joseph-Day could get a look at that position as well. Other candidates include Rashad Weaver, rookie seventh-rounder Jaylen Harrell, and sophomore undrafted free agent Caleb Murphy.

 30.
It’s still not an ideal solution, but I’d take Davidson ahead of Murphy, Weaver, and Harrell as of right now. Davidson could end up playing roughly 30-35% of weekly defensive snaps if he takes advantage of his opportunity throughout training camp. Whether or not Joseph-Day can play on the edge with more consistency will also play a role.

Jones is visiting Nashville on Monday according to a report from Ian Rapoport. Jones was released by the Titans’ AFC South rival Jacksonville Jaguars shortly after the conclusion of the 2024 NFL Draft.

 51.

 52.

 53.
Free agent WR Zay Jones, who was released after the NFL Draft by the #Jaguars, is visiting the #Titans today, source said.

Jones has an obvious connection to Tennessee OC Nick Holz, as the two were both in Jacksonville last year.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) May 6, 2024
 54.

 55.
 56.
 57.

 58.
Jones possesses an obvious connection to the Titans. New offensive coordinator Nick Holz was his OC with the Jaguars last season. Holz was also Jones’ assistant wide receivers coach with the Las Vegas Raiders. Injury limited Jones to eight regular-season appearances last season. He totaled 34 receptions for 321 yards and two touchdowns. Familiarity would help Jones hit the ground running in Tennessee’s offense this offseason.

 59.
The Titans continue to do their homework on available veteran receivers that fit their offense. They hosted Tyler Boyd on a free-agent visit last week. Many assumed signing Boyd was a foregone conclusion given his familiarity with new head coach Brian Callahan. Bringing in Jones for a visit indicates the Titans are looking at alternative options.

 60.
Jones enjoyed a career-best season in 2022 before his 2023 campaign was cut short by aforementioned injury. Jones totaled personal-highs in receptions (82), and receiving yards (823) two seasons ago. He’d add another layer of veteran protection to Tennessee’s receiver room.

 61.
The Titans are seemingly looking for a slot receiver to play alongside DeAndre Hopkins and Calvin Ridley in 11 personnel. While Jones was primarily an outside receiver for the Jaguars last season, he did play 139 snaps in the slot, per Pro Football Focus. When Jones was healthier in 2022, he played 329 total snaps in the slot.

Love the breakdown of T’Vondre Sweat:

 82.

Mammoth & immovable space-eater with raw power to collapse pocket on sub downs. (Sweat) next to Jeffrey Simmons is a long a$$ day for interior OL. Big lovable personality will be fan favorite if he comes close to his ceiling.

Just continues to underscore the point that Sweat is going to be a problem for interior offensive linemen if he can get his head on straight.

 85.
Jake points out that the NFL Network has the Titans at 30 in their latest power rankings. It’s going to be fun to watch the national media eat it all year long.

 86.
Paul Kuharsky asks if Nicholas Petit-Frere will be the Titans’ right tackle. It’s easy to forget that NPF played pretty well as the right tackle in his rookie season. Now the Titans have an offensive line coach who should be able to make him even better. I’d say there’s a good chance he wins the RT job and is actually pretty good.

 115.
Narveson converted 18-of-23 attempts throughout the latest college football campaign for a conversion rate of 78.3%. Narveson showcased elite leg strength by making a season-high 57-yard kick. For his career, Narveson made 71-of-91 kicks (78%).

 116.
Narveson was a graduate student at NC State that previously played at Western Kentucky. That connection made him eligible to attend the Titans’ local pro day workout. Independent sources confirmed to Music City Miracles that Narveson put forth an impressive showing at the local day, which is where Tennessee’s interest in him was elevated. Titans special teams coach Colt Anderson was especially impressed with Narveson’s workout.

 117.
Narveson faces an uphill battle trying to dethrone Folk. It’s worth remembering many felt the same when Ryan Stonehouse entered a training camp battle with Brett Kern. You never know. General manager Ran Carthon will eventually require a succession plan for the aging Folk. Narveson will attempt to prove he’s a long-term solution.

 149.
Martin-Robinson is an older prospect that spent six seasons at Temple. That’s not uncommon for an undrafted free agent. Martin-Robinson was a slightly undersized prospect (6-3, 247) that recorded 40 receptions for 537 receiving yards and four touchdowns.

 150.
Martin-Robinson is an impressive athlete. At Temple’s Pro Day, he ran an outstanding 4.65 40-yard dash with an elite 10-yard split (1.54). Martin-Robinson also ran an elite 4.08 shuttle, leaped a 35.5 inch vertical, and 9-foot-10 broad jump. Martin-Robinson.’s 8.73 out of 10 Relative Athletic Score makes him the second-most athletic UDFA to sign in Tennessee, trailing just Cole Spencer.

 151.
The Titans are in the market for third (and maybe fourth) string tight ends. Chig Okonkwo and Josh Whyle are the only tight ends on the team guaranteed a roster spot, and Whyle ended the season on IR. Martin-Robinson appears to be in contention with Thomas Odukoya and another undrafted free agent tight end for a 53-man spot.

 182.
SHOCKER!

Jeremy Fowler is reporting that the Tennessee Titans have declined the fifth-year option on CB Caleb Farley:

 183.

 184.

 185.
The #Titans plan to decline the fifth-year option on cornerback Caleb Farley, per source. This was expected after Farley played 12 games (two starts) since 2021.
— Jeremy Fowler (@JFowlerESPN) May 2, 2024
 186.

 187.
 188.
 189.

 190.
No surprise here. The Farley experiment has been a huge bust. Who could have seen a player who had multiple back surgeries in college having trouble staying healthy in the NFL? Oh, everyone you say? Well, apparently everyone with the exception of Jon Robinson.

 191.
I could be wrong, but I have always thought the success Jeffery Simmons had coming off a major injury made Robinson think he could get lightning to strike twice and hit with Farley. Spoiler alert: It did not.

 192.
Robinson’s hit rate of 5th-year options is a big part of the reason that he is no longer the general manager in Tennessee. He was the general manager for seven drafts with the Tennessee Titans and made eight first-round picks:

 193.
2016: Jack Conklin

 194.
2017: Corey Davis

 195.
2017: Adoree Jackson

 196.
2018: Rashaan Evans

 197.
2019: Jeffery Simmons

 198.
2020: Isaiah Wilson

 199.
2021: Caleb Farley

 200.
2022: Treylon Burks

 201.
Only two of those guys, Jackson and Simmons, had their fifth-year options picked up, and they ended up cutting Jackson before he ever played on his. Burks has yet to reach the point where they have to make a decision on his option, but I think it’s safe to say the Titans will not be picking it up.

 202.
Farley is set to play on the final year of his rookie contract in 2024. He will have some work to do to make the team.

It was reported by Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, who claims Boyd recently visited the Los Angeles Chargers. The Titans could be in the market for a veteran slot receiver.

 223.

 224.

 225.
Free agent wide receiver Tyler Boyd was in Los Angeles this week to meet with the #Chargers and will also head to the #Titans later this week, per source,

Market should heat up for Boyd, who has 513 catches for 6,000 yards over eight seasons in Cincinnati. pic.twitter.com/7bMUcM89KK
— Jeremy Fowler (@JFowlerESPN) May 1, 2024
 226.

 227.
 228.
 229.

 230.
Boyd spent the previous five seasons (2019-23) playing in Brian Callahan’s offense with the Cincinnati Bengals. Boyd accumulated 361 receptions for 4.144 yards and 21 touchdowns across those five seasons. In Boyd’s first season playing under Callahan, he recorded a single-season career-high 1,046 yards. It was Boyd’s second consecutive 1,000 yard showing. There’s obviously a lot of familiarity between Boyd and Callahan.

 231.
Calvin Ridley and DeAndre Hopkins will start on the boundary for the Titans in 2024. The slot position is currently up for grabs, with the likes of Kyle Philips, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, and Mason Kinsey said to be in contention. To date, Treylon Burks has not been mentioned as an option at that position.

 232.

 233.

 234.
When asked about the WR group Brian Callahan mentioned how the #Titans need someone to emerge as a slot WR. He pointed to Kyle Philips, Mason Kinsey, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. But no mention of Treylon Burks. pic.twitter.com/mlL6da0HgR
— TURRON DAVENPORT (@TDavenport_NFL) April 10, 2024
 235.

 236.
 237.
 238.

 239.
The Titans also didn’t draft a receiver in the 2024 NFL Draft until the sixth round. Jha’Quan Jackson projects as a receiver that can occasionally play in the slot, but the former Tulane standout may not be an every-down player at that position. Jackson will make a bigger impact on special teams.

 240.
The aging Boyd isn’t in his prime anymore, but he’s still a veteran starting-caliber receiver. Given Boyd’s familiarity with Callahan’s scheme, he projects as an upgrade in a pass-happy offense with Will Levis at the helm. Boyd would be a quality signing.

 260.
The Titans signed undrafted defensive end Khalid Duke to a contract that contains notable guarantees

The Tennessee Titans have allegedly signed upwards of 10-plus undrafted free agents following the conclusion of the 2024 NFL Draft. I’ve spent the past few days familiarizing myself with all of them. I’ve also confirmed various reported signings through independent sources.

 261.
One of those signings is Kansas State defensive end Khalid Duke, according to NFL insider Aaron Wilson. The Titans gave Duke $52,500 in total guarantees, including $40,000 in salary guarantees. That indicates Duke is Tennessee’s second-highest paid undrafted free agent, trailing just offensive linemen Cole Spencer.

 267.
 268.

 269.
Duke recorded a career-high 6.0 sacks this past campaign. He played his entire college football career at Kansas State, totaling 14 sacks and 125 tackles across five seasons. Duke is an undersized pass rusher that pairs speed with first-step explosiveness.

 270.
Duke’s athletic profile is a mixed bag. The Atlanta, Georgia native ran a solid 4.79 40 with average splits of 2.8 and 1.69 at 6-foot-3 and 248 pounds. Play strength has been an issue, and Duke recorded just 21 reps on the bench press. Duke also posted solid vertical (34 inches) and broad jump (9-foot-9) results.

 271.

 272.

 273.
Khalid Duke is a DE prospect in the 2024 draft class. He scored a 5.85 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. 275.
 276.
 277.

 278.
The Titans didn’t draft a pass rusher in the 2024 NFL Draft until selecting Jaylen Harrell in the seventh round. General manager Ran Carthon should search for an early-down veteran defender to play opposite Harold Landry III in free agency. Until a move is finalized, Duke appears to possess a solid opportunity to push players like Rashad Weaver, Caleb Murphy, and Thomas Rush for a 53-man roster spot.
