135.
I recently acquired a leather-bound photo album that appears to have been assembled in the 1860s or 1870s. Fortunately, there was some provenance inside the cover, although no photos had been identified. The album had belonged to the family of Nettie Bowyer Cox (Dodd). Her father was Richard M. Cox and her mother was Charlotte Bowyer. Her granddaughter Alma left a note inside. I am not sure how it parted from the family. It may have ended up in a book shop in New England, where Alma lived, I think.
136.
137. I did some research on the Cox family and think I can identify some of the individuals. The photographs are in excellent condition, and many of them had been taken by the black photographer J. P. Ball of Cincinnati. I believe there is one post-mortem photo of a girl included.
138.
139. This beautiful album had belonged to a deceased friend of mine had who found it in Massachusetts. She may have used it for research purposes. I am not sure if she was related to this family. I would very much like to work on identifying as many family members as possible. Does anyone know a Cox family researcher or can anyone suggest a helpful resource?

233. My g-g-Grandfather was John Stanley Leggett b. abt 1/1/1839 and d abt 5/16/1915. His wife was Rebecca Duley (Dooley). During my research I have found that John S Leggett and his 4 siblings were orphaned when John was 5 years old (he was the oldest). What I am struggling to find out is - who were his parents??? He was apparently born in Indiana!
234.
235. Thank you for any help anyone can give!

325.
326. I have located some documents in Warren Co. There is a deed to Elijah Montgomery from Jesse Wilson in book Inverse 1799-1831 on page 119, estate papers for Elijah in 1843 in box 14 page 23, and guardianship papers for Elijah being a guardian in 1821 on page 206. There is an obituary for Rhoda Montgomery in 1851 in the Miami Visitor on either the 25 or 26 of Sep 1851 on page 14. Does anyone have access to any of these?

766.
My 2nd great grandmother was Harriet Ann Perry. My records show that she was born in July of 1827. The marriage record shows she married James Doughman 15 June 1850 in Warren County. They wed before the 1850 census and between 1850 and 1860, they moved to Iowa. I haven't found any census records with Perry in Warren County at the time of their marriage. I have also looked in Clermont County, Ohio for Perry's as that is where Doughman's were also found. The 1900 Federal Census has Harriet and James living in Grundy Center, Grundy, Iowa. James died there 26 Jan 1906. I have not been able to find a death record for Harriet.
767.
768. Their daughter was Angeline E. Doughman, born 1856 in Iowa, died 15 Sep 1924, Hastings, Adams, Nebraska. She married Sylvanus F. Magner, born. c. 1852 in Monroeville, Allen, Indiana, died 25 Nov 1937, Omaha, Douglas, Nebraska.
