44.

The president of Columbia, Minouche Shafik, was called to Congress in April to defend her inaction against antisemitism on her campus.

 45.
This follows a hearing in December during which three Ivy League presidents were asked to explain their own inaction.

 46.
During Shafik’s hearing, it became clear that she is either unable or unwilling to stop the vile antisemitism on her campus.

 47.
We called on Shafik to resign and took two U-Haul moving trucks to her residence to help her move. On campus, we were confronted by a mob of antisemites who proudly proclaimed their support for terrorists.

 67.
FIRST ON FOX: A watchdog organization with a focus on higher education released footage exposing the chaos occurring at the epicenter of the anti-Israel protests plaguing one of America’s most prestigious Ivy League universities.

 68.
Adam Guillette, President of Accuracy In Media, went to the campus of Columbia University in New York to speak with the individuals behind the anti-Israel protests that have erupted at the school, filming his encounters in a video shared with Fox News Digital.

 69.
Guillette, who is Jewish, confronted several individuals at the protest, but did not receive a warm welcome when he asked them questions about Hamas, the safety of Jewish students, and why they are protesting Israel.

 70.
One individual claimed students are not being threatened on the campus – despite the Morningside main campus switching to hybrid or remote learning for the remainder of the spring semester due to safety concerns.

 90.
Viral videos demand context, but sometimes the stories behind the clips seem to obscure what we can already see. Last week, footage circulated of a dispute in a back yard. A young woman wearing a red hijab stands in a garden stairway with a microphone in her hand. “Assalmualikum wa rahma tallahi wa barakatu,” she says. “Peace and blessings upon you all.”

 91.
A moment later, off camera, a man’s voice pleads, “Please leave. No. Please leave. Please leave. This is my house.” An older man in a gray sweater appears in front of the speaker, his arms crossed; the speaker ignores him. “Tonight is also the last night of the holy month of Ramadan,” she continues.

 92.
…

 93.
In January, the conservative nonprofit Accuracy in Media drove a truck near the school with the names of people, including Berkeley students, whom the group accused of engaging in antisemitism. Chemerinsky condemned the nonprofit and its truck. “Its harassment of our students is loathsome and I condemn it in the strongest possible terms,” he said. “It is an attempt to intimidate students for their speech that is protected by the First Amendment.”

 152.

Accuracy in Media has taken the Antisemitism Accountability Project to the west coast, exposing the pro-Hamas Seattle teacher Ian Golash.

 153.
Golash, who teaches at a public high school, has been caught making posters promoting ethnic cleansing and has made highly antisemitic social media posts, which his students have seen.

 154.
These posts denied the occurrence of the October 7 terrorist attack that killed 1,200 Israelis. AIM President Adam Guillette was able to speak directly with both Golash and his students.

 155.
One student said, “I don’t know how he [Golash] hasn’t been fired yet.”

 156.
Even more shockingly, we learned from the student that Golash himself had brought his entire class outside to view the billboard.

 157.
Then we heard what Golash himself had to say to us, which left us stunned.

 158.
Guillette asked the teacher, who was surrounded by his students, whether he believed that the murder of the women at a music festival was justified.

 159.
“Yes,” Golash responded.

 160.
After further inquiry, Golash seemed to realize the severity of his answer and backtracked, saying that he thinks that “resistance against Israel is justified.” This is a common tactic amongst pro-Hamas radicals when confronted with the atrocities Hamas committed in Israel.

 161.
Guillette then posed another hypothetical, asking the teacher first if America was an oppressor state, to which Golash said, “Yes.” A follow-up question then asked whether it would be justified to go into an American music festival and murder people, to which Golash was evasive in answering.

 162.
Pulling no punches, Guillette then inquired about Golash’s past record of assault and criminal harassment.

 163.
“Did you say ‘all cops are bastards’ before or after your arrests?”

 164.
“Since day one,” the teacher stated.

 165.
“Is every cop a bastard?” Guillette countered.

 166.
Golash confirmed with a casual “Yup.”

 167.
Because Golash had dragged his students outside to see the spectacle, we were able to get some of their perspectives on their own teacher.

 168.
When one student learned about his teacher’s arrest record, he said that “it didn’t surprise [him] at all.”, and another stated that Golash was “a troubled individual.”

 169.
After all this, the district refused to hold the radical teacher accountable, so AIM took a short drive to their headquarters in search of answers.

 170.
Unsurprisingly, they ushered Guillette and our camera off the site.

 171.
AIM then ventured to Golash’s neighborhood, where neighbors expressed their distaste for the antisemitism that’s been occurring in the U.S. since the conflict began.

 172.
AIM has decided to hold these radicals accountable for their beliefs, and hope to combat the rabid antisemitism that has been plaguing U.S. education since October 7.

 216.

As a part of Accuracy in Media’s campaign against antisemitism, President Adam Guillette paid public school teacher Mohammad Jehad Ahmad a visit to ask him some questions.

 217.
Ahmad is a teacher at Gotham Tech High School in the Queens borough of New York City, whose social media went viral for all the wrong reasons.

 218.
Following the terrorist attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, that killed 1200 Israelis and left many more traumatized and injured, Ahamd referred to the attack as a “successful military campaign” and that the perpetrators were “freedom fighters.”

 219.
Other tweets were gathered by Canary Mission, showing more antisemitic remarks and graphics.

 220.
The mobile billboard that accompanied Guilette was placed across the street from Ahmad’s residence, which sparked Ahamad to approach, clearly enraged, and unwilling to answer simple questions like “If you hate Jews so much why do you live in New York?”

 221.
The New York metro area holds a staggering 25% of the United States Jewish population, with several sects of Judaism calling its streets home.

 222.
For someone like Ahmad with such strong public hatred for Jews and their homeland, it seemed like a valid question to ask.

 223.
While still refusing questions, Ahmad seemed to note that we were against filming his child that someone had been holding nearby, a decision made out of respect for Ahmad’s family rather than any legal obligation. In response, he grabbed the child and approached the cameraman and Guilette, seemingly using the toddler as a “human shield” claiming that AIM could no longer film.

 241.

Anti-Israel NYC teacher confronted by antisemitism watchdog over viral social media posts

 242.
NEW YORK CITY (TND) — Watchdog group Accuracy in Media (AIM) confronted a New York City teacher last week who reportedly expressed anti-Israel sentiments amid the Jewish state’s war with Hamas terrorists.

 243.
In a video of the encounter, AIM President Adam Guillette confronts Gotham Tech High School teacher Mohammad Jehad Ahmad, whose views went viral in October. The teacher posted on X at the time that NYC Schools Chancellor David Banks is a “white supremacist” who “normalizes genocide” after Banks condemned Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack, the New York Post reported.

 244.
Ahmad also reportedly accused Banks of distributing “Zionist propaganda” through the condemnation, as well as noted it is “not enough to support Palestine,” encouraging others to be “anti-so-called ‘Israel.'”

 245.
“If you hate Jews so much, why do you live in the city that has the most Jews of any city in the world outside of Israel?” Guillette asked Ahmad in video of the interaction posted last week.

 246.
Ahmad argued Guillette was “breaking laws” by asking such questions in the presence of his child. He then took hold of Guillette’s microphone.

 265.

Four months after beginning the Antisemitism Accountability Project at Columbia University, Accuracy in Media President Adam Guillette returned to the campus to see if the situation had improved in any capacity for Jewish students.

 266.
The short answer is no.

 267.
Shai Davidai, a professor at Columbia’s business school stated that even though he’s 40, his “legs are shaking” every time he’s walking around campus. Davidai is a strong and vocal opponent of antisemitism, which has put a target on his back for antisemites. He called out the university, alleging that Columbia is not enforcing its suspensions of the radical student groups, Jewish Voices for Peace and Students for Justice Palestine. As Davidai is made a pariah for advocating for the mere continued existence of the Jewish people, students are allowed to shout “Globalize the Intifada” and yell for the erasure of Israel without punishment.

 268.
One Israeli student, an IDF commander back home in Israel, came back from a deployment following the October 7th terrorist attack to students posting his name in SideChat calling him an “oppressor.” The student recalls a pro-Palestinian protestor at an event shouting into a bullhorn that “Nothing is more honorable than dying in a noble cause.” It’s an understatement to say that this is distressing to hear because his fellow students are “calling for the eradication of [his] family” because they have “nowhere else to go.”

 269.
These sentiments are widely felt among Jewish students, with threats of violence and harassment reaching a critical point in student housing and on campus.

 270.
One student, who wished to remain anonymous due to prior harassment, told Guillette that she was woken up by people banging on her door in the middle of the night in the months after October 7. At the end of the day this student “just wants to practice and be [her]self, and not be targeted,” which is not by any means a large thing to ask. The student felt that she had to move out of her accommodations because she didn’t know “what they were going to do to [her] in there.”

 271.
These stories are likely common among the Jewish population at Columbia, and with the lackluster efforts by school officials to establish law and order on campus again, the situation will continue to escalate. In order to protect Jewish students, the rabid anti-semites on college campuses must be held accountable for their views.
