He was one of the best ninja in his heyday, had gone numerous dangerous missions almost all of which were executed to perfection. He had never failed a single mission nor ever lost his comrades during any of which. He was feared by friends and foes alike for his cunning techniques and unparalleled wits. But the once powerful and fearsome ninja McCluskey has now become the old ninja McCluskey. Even he couldn't escape the effect of time. And the closest thing to ninja world McCluskey can do now was to dress like one. To his regret, he no longer can fight or throw a shuriken to a lame duck without aching his joints.

His sons (all are powerful ninjas) fear about Mr. McCluskey's safety, being old and all. They fear that enemies could easily hurt Mr. McCluskey. But most of the time, what they want is to save him from himself. "How if he incidentally fall in the bathroom or hurt his old bones while he insistently, being stubborn and all, practiced the ninjutsu?" Because of his stubborn nature, McCluskey always refuses to live in a nursing home, nor he likes to be accompanied in his little house on the prairie. The only friend he has in his house is years-old dog named Rashomon.

McCluskey's sons' fear isn't without solid ground. Even now, bounties on McCluskey's head are still in effects in the enemy's countries, dead or alive. So, after having discussion on this matter, the sons decide to use the service of Medical Alert, a monitoring device for elderly ninja like Mr.McCluskey. This device will allow them to know before hand when danger is near, or simply when Mr. McCluskey accidentally stumble during his mock fight against Rashomon (one of his favorite past times) because the device has the fall detection that detects whenever the user is falling and instantly send signal to those in the receiving end.

With a heavy heart, because he hates the idea that someone, albeit one of his sons, is monitoring him, Mr. McCluskey agrees to use such device, knowing that it is the only thing that will stop his sons from bugging him over his safety.

In one moonless night, his sons' well-anticipated fear came to reality. A band of ninjas had been sent by McCluskey's sworn enemy to finish him off. Only a selected few know what really happened that night. A discreet report said that not long after McCluskey had finished his evening tea, three ninjas crept their way to his old house, nearly killed Rashomon if only the latter was not well-trained in ninja's art by the master himself. Rashomon, despite his old age, howled in his rage, alerting McCluskey who already in the bedroom, before assaulting one of the three ninjas with great agility.

In a quick fight that ensued, McCluskey and Rashomon were able to neutralize the initial attack. The three recon ninjas were rendered unconscious by McCluskey's powerful jutsu. But outside, there were still two...three...six...ninjas, Mr.McCluskey counted, and he was worried whether he could survive them all. His bones were aching and Rashomon had been hurt. "I might not survive the night," he said to no one. "Alas, this is a good way to die..."

And then he jumped off the window to attack his attackers instead of waiting for them. "Katsu!" he yelled. In his eagerness, more to his old age, he had trampled on his own foot, fallen to the ground just as 6 shurikens launched at him. The shurikens only hit the tatamis while, cursing, Mr McCluskey tried to roll his way up. The moment he fell down, the signal went off, alerting his eldest who in response summon himself to the scene. His brothers were close behind him. It is too vulgar to mention the slaughters that ensued here. Long story short, all the attackers were defeated. Only the initial three could manage to escape. To his sons' relieve, the decision to use Medical Alert had been a good decision after all. Only McCluskey felt indifferent. Grumbling, he babbled about how that otherwise useful device has denied him "a great way to die."

Pocket Qur'an for BlackBerry

Pocket Quran Midlet for BlackBerry

This free application allow you to read Quran via your BlackBerry. In close combat, using eyeglasses could be fatal. The glass part could shattered whenever you're hit, injured--God knows to what extent--your eyes . In the other hand, it's not beneficial too in long distance firing frenzies. I couldn't shoot a sitting duck 50m away from me. I guess the latter is the reason why my boss never enroll me in his sharp-shooter squad.

All because I'm being nearsighted.
Nevertheless, I'm still the Death's incarnate to anyone stupid enough to be anywhere within 20 meters radius when I'm in the you-know-what-I'm-talking-about mode.

In my duty (as a henchman, that is), I often need to disguise my appearance. I have three favorite appearances in such recon jobs. The first is the classic-conspiratorial men-in-black look. Equipped with a fake earpiece, some untrained eyes would easily picked me as a federal agent in such an important mission. Hah! This style distracts people as much as it intimidates them. People tend to avoid a federal-looking guy. Very helpful if you don't want to be disturbed. One exception is that, instead of sunglasses, I wear eyeglasses. I hate sunglasses (they are waaay... too overrated), part of which is because I hate contact lenses one should use if he's nearsighted and wants to avoid really embarrassing scenes when he wears sunglasses.
Another look is more corporate-like. You know that Bennet guy from Heroes series? That's what I meant. That way, I can easily mingle with the crowd in any commercial strip in whatever city my boss sent me. The last look is the most casual one. Usually just cargo pants, t-shirt and a windbreaker, old sneakers and a trucker hat to conceal my crew cut hairdo.

As you can guess, each of the three appearances demands different eyeglasses to be paired with. It is not because I'm fashionable. I'm simply practical, and my famous Buddy Holly-styled tortoise shell eyeglasses isn't helping at all. Any old enemy could spot me from half a mile away even if I'm dressing like a drag queen simply by looking at my glasses.
I was looking for the eyeglasses I needed, online, when I stumbled at a somewhat cheeky My favorite high fashion eyeglasses, apparently promotion lines a moron suggesting an online optic.
I clicked it anyway thinking, "If what you mean by high fashion is what I called practical, than I have nothing to lose here." The URL brought me to the inevitably online optics shop. It offers arrays of eyeglasses, each of which I soon clicked at. Three of them caught my attention for they would fit perfectly to the aforementioned disguises.
I started to like the site and its $ 8 Rx eyeglasses (eyeglasses featured here cost only $8 each). Although you might think otherwise, a henchman's salary is not much, you know (no pensions, too). From my job's perspective, cheap eyeglasses as such have benefits: I could buy as much as my recon jobs need them be. And, in some cases where I have to do close-combat, I could toss whichever one I wear without fear of ruining it or worrying over the cost of replacing it (they're cheap anyway), something which I always feel with my $200 tortoise shell eyeglasses. They're not looking so bad, too. They are, like I said, practical. Not only that. Apparently, someone by the name Greg Karp (as in Karpe Diem, baby!) apparently has mentioned zennioptical.com (that's the site I'm talking about here) in How You Can Start Spending Smart in CBN. Well, if the author of a book called Living Rich By Spending Smart should tell you what to do, it is only wise if you do as you are told, right? Of course if you want to get rich in the first place.
Whatever.
At this point you may ask, "What kind of henchman using eyeglasses?" I tell you what, buddies. That's the same question up in my boss' enemies' mind. And all of them fall for it. They aren't around now, are they? They underestimated me, thinking I'm not dangerous enough, and let off their guards accordingly.
You see, I love paradox. People may not scare of me as they would a mean looking street gangster. But looking like a crew-cutted Buddy Holly doesn't mean that I couldn't kill you in a wink of an eye. Savvy? And if all it takes to make people off their guard is to wear glasses, why shouldn't I? All of my victims that fall for it would come back from their grave just to tell you that. The moral of the story is: Don't mess with me.

Web Hosting Choice

Everyone needs a guidance to arrive at the right decision once and a while. To save them from the bullshit, to cut the loose end, to save money or whatever the reason is. Like life itself, every decision you make on choosing your web hosting service determine your destiny.

I'm not exaggerating here folks. A poor-managed web hosting can gives you anything but success. And that, surely, isn't anywhere you want to come across to. Like the real world, the online world is divide into two parts of people. Those who have money and those who haven't. But unlike the real world, you can make money even when you have none when you started. This is called online business; a highly competitive sector with so many big earning potentials you won't get in the real life.

Success is one percent of great ideas and 99% hard works, said Edison. When it comes to online business, however, you have to squeeze in another extra percent for a reliable web hosting service, for it can save you all the hard works.

I won't pretend that I know all about web hosting service, or online business for that matter, nor I try to tell you to do something you don't want to. Hell! I'm not the one you should ask for advice about this matter in the first place, either. So why should you listen to what I'm trying to say here? It is, my friend, because I speak of a simple truth: "To be successful in your online businesses, whatever they are, you need a reliable web hosting service."

This is where the site I recently stumbled upon comes in handy. Instead of letting you search for yourself, achingly gathering information bits by bits and manually compare each of the candidates that show up, it has compiled all the 4W and 1H you need to know about web hosting. Save you the time and efforts, and with more results I suppose. Visit here for more info.
And trust me when I said "all the 4W and 1H", I mean it literally.

Best Web Host: A Review

When you own a website, hosting is one of the most important thing to be considered. We've overheard many times about bad web hosting service and what impacts it can cause your website, and in turn, your online business. They can be ugly.

Like a bad breath, bad web hosting stinks. That's for sure.

"How to choose a good one?" You might ask. Well, having the fact that there are so many web hosting services out there, being confused over which web host to choose is only logical.

But here's the guidelines:
A good web host must be reliable in a sense which makes you can sleep tight at night, knowing that your website are up and running 24/7. Like Sauron's Eye, a good reliable web host will monitor your website, ensure it's well-being (that means they have backup all the data needed just in case some problem exist, too).

Service features are the next thing you should consider. The web host that you use better have the features that you needed most in your online business, whether that be an online chat platform, shop online plug-ins or simply a large datacenter. Long story short, make sure that the web host's features covered both the basics and the specifics that you need.

Good customer service is another must. No matter what type of client you are, the noisy, insensible one, or the silent type, good web host must provide you with great service in this department. In respect of client-patron relationship, a good web host is the one that make sure you have what you want, as long as you pay the bill of course.

The last and most important is none other than "how-much-it-will-cost-me" section. It's important to note that when it comes to web hosting, the more expensive is not equal with better service; many of good web hosting services out there are the cheapest you can find. Do an extra research in this department. Comparisons of the candidates of the web hosts you might use are important. You don't want to be stuck with the one that, although provide great services, cost you too much or with the one that is cheap but with poor services and features.

Finally, when you have found a web host with all the above basic criteria, you'll find what is called best web host. Don't hesitate, be their client! Work with those guys! Grow your business! The only thing you have to worry now is how to get decent traffics and potential customers to your website and to increase those numbers. But wait! Some of best web hosts out there have also included a free advertisement package for you to start with, including free submission to you-know-what search engines as their extra features. One less problem, eh? I think I'll register now.

Games For BlackBerry 8800/Curve/Pearl

3D Nine Hole Golf

Games For Old School BlackBerry

Medieval Kings Chess II, Disco Bowling. Isn't it just something we all waiting for? Blackberry Storm 2! Yeah, as if we have bored with its predecessor, the Blackberry Storm 9530. Crackberry or should I say its fearless leader Kevin Michaluk throw a contest to answer the up-and-growing rumor about the BlackBerry 2 Odin launch date.
The rumor has it that the newest yet BlackBerry Storm will be released in June, the 1st. But Kevin personally thought it is unlikely, although not dismissed the idea at all. So, as my own participation to the well-participated contest I'll make my own prophecy.

First, I personally think June is too sudden. It's NOW (-8 GMT), for Odin's sake! Hehehe, but, even if RIM, in all its rushness decide to release it in June, it will fall either on the 3rd, the 10th, the 17th or the 24th of June respectively. As you can see, the dates are all fall on Wednesday. Why Wednesday?
Well, under the assumption that RIM's people always have a thorough research when it comes to the name of its device, the new Blackberry Storm PDA smartphone Odin which, as I mentioned earlier, named after the chief-god of the Norse/Skandinavian, will definitely fall on a Wednesday instead of other week days. You better listen to this folks: Wednesday is the modern form of Woden's, Wodan's, Odin's--all the variants of it--Day. What's more logic than to launch the new BlackBerry smartphone on the day which is also a homage to the same god?
Of course that only will happen if RIM's researcher and marketing team do their homework which by the way bring us to my second prophecy. Yes...there's two. A good seer must anticipate everything...
Here comes my second prophecy, which I think is more likely.
I'm afraid those who expect BlackBerry Storm 2 to come out earlier will actually won't see it until December. I had a vision concerning this. I had a vision a while back ago, involving Odin (the god not the smartphone) having a tea with Santa Claus!. I took no heed of the date nor the meaning of my vision until I read about the aforementioned contest. That was when I realize there will be a new Blackberry Storm and that it is code-named Odin.
Odin and Santa? Well, you don't need to run a top speed Freudian psychoanalysis as to guess what the hell that possibly mean, do you? Let's just say that BlackBerry Storm 2, with all its updates, or lack thereof, will indeed be a great Christmas gift.

BlackBerry In Indonesia: The Raising Storm

Kevin Michaluk of crackberry, raised an issue of the leaping numbers of BlackBerry users in Indonesia. Other source confirmed this by reporting that the growth reached 500% last year, and still growing.
It's no surprise for me, being an Indonesian and all, because in fact the BlackBerry's growth in Indonesian market is also the one reason behind my creating this blog.
Analyzing it a little, there are at least three major factors behind the not-just-steady-but-rapid-growth of BlackBerry Storm 9000, BlackBerry Curve 8900 and all of its variant in Indonesia, which mean the boost-up BlackBerry accesories sales as well. And Kevin, you might want to read this.
First is that RIM's BlackBerry has a great prestige among Indonesian. Forget about iPhone, BlackBerry is what YOU want if you are Indonesian. It still amazed me how the power of prestige can drive such frenzy. Indonesian BlackBerry users are not divided to social class nor their occupance. Here you can see politicians clumsily clutch their brand new BlackBerry Storm, soap-opera stars exchanging e-mail or simply text messages among each others with their BlackBerry Curve and grunge-looking college boys and chic college girls flashing around their shocking color-clad BlackBerry Bold.
The second is the fact that the available BlackBerry handsets are affordable since most of them come from black market. "80% of BlackBerry customers who use our service, didn't buy the handsets from us" said an Indosat spokeperson.
Indosat is one of official carriers for BlackBerry for Indonesia, the other are XL and Telkomsel. This can create a tight competition in the future, but right now the three carriers should be happy enough to survive only on their service and after-sales, since there no competiting the price of the black market BlackBerry handsets. The third factors, and the most ridiculous one I might add, maybe is the well-spread information that Barrack Obama uses BlackBerry. As we know, Mr. Obama used to live in Indonesia, and there's no asking about his popularity here during the Presidential Vote in US. Every Indonesian, who don't hold any grudge against US that is, wanted Obama to win and he did. If to once shared the same country with the President of USA is not enough for you, the next thing you could do is to have the same gadget.
How should RIM react to the amazing growth? Detiknet reported that the three vendors (Indosat, XL, Telkomsel) have already ask RIM, during the 2009 Wireless Enterprise Symposium, to either establish a representative office or providing after sale service center to anticipate the bloated BlackBerry market in Indonesia. FYI, RIM do not have any representative office in Indonesia.
So, what are you waiting for RIM? We talk about a huge market here. If you can't provide this gadget-craving people satisfying services, you might channel their big-spending-on-gadget tendency to other brand, and that will be the last "Storm" you wanted to exist.

On The Store: AT&T's BlackBerry Curve 8900

In my last post on this subject, I quote blackberrynews on their prediction as to the launching date of BlackBerry Curve 8900 with AT&T. The NPD hasn't yet release the report, whether it outsold Apple iPhone again or whether the selling performance is as good as the hype it generates among BlackBerry fans.
It seems that for At&T, the BlackBerry Curve 8900, also known as Javelin, is only a preliminary effort to test the market, as it is also reported that future BlackBerries, namely BlackBerry Onyx, Gemini, Pearl 3G and BlackBerry Magnum are ready (very likely) to seal the deal with AT&T.
While the name of the mentioned Blackberry handsets are subject to change (I prefer my OWN proposed BlackBerry names), the specifications are as surely as follow. Now, that indeed something worth to wait from both RIM and AT&T.

Free BlackBerry Themes: Star Wars

A few minutes ago, I ran some keywords through Google, and this is what I found (drum roll), Star Wars BlackBerry theme! Ok, that's not that special maybe, but, it is, if you have a blog about BlackBerry and happened to be a fans of that so-famous-it's-almost-boring franchise by George Lucas. Especially when as a child, you spent 6 months of which mad of your parents because you are not a born-Skywalker.

The day I become a Star Wars fan was also the day I unconsciously become a geek, and this in turn lead me to BlackBerry, but that's another story.
Time goes on and then the prequel of the classic Star Wars hit the movie world, introducing the fiend yet cool Sith warrior, Darth Maul. And that was when I realized. IF I have to be a geek the rest of my life, I will be the one with a dark side. A Jedi is NOT that strong anyway...too many restrictions you can't even love...look at Darth Vader for instance...the asthmatic guy he's become is a direct result of his ability to love.
Ok. Nuff about Star Wars.
I found the free BlackBerry theme above in a site which specialized in providing free BlackBerry themes. The site is literally death since there's no update almost for one year now. So I guess it's ok if I "borrow" their content.
via freebbthemes

BlackBerry Applications Softwares Download: One And Half Month Later

Hello all, today remarks the first 1 and half month of "BlackBerry Applications Softwares Download", yeaaay!!! One of the busiest month of my life that is. Stayed up late, only had 2-hours of sleep every night, blogwalking MANUALLY everyday, visiting blogs, leave comments here and there, updating my post to the point where I'm so sick of typing the words like BlackBerry Curve 8900, BlackBerry Storm, RIM, BlackBerry Themes, BlackBerry this, BlackBerry that..."
You know what I mean.
This is my first serious blog, the one that has a niche that is, while my other blogs are either in slumber mode or still in developing. I met so many good people during that month among of them are let's prettify, BitterSweet Life and Ms. Dorothy during my blogwalking, and sure, I met the ridiculous and annoying too (Am I supposed to give their link too, or what?) , keep spamming and spamming to visit their blog where there actually nothing worth seeing there and the worst, the liars (always said that they done something when they actually didn't. Never!) But that's ok. You can't always expect people to be always nice all the time.
All I'm saying is that the past month was a hell of a ride. A ride in hell. And of course in hell you are allowed to have as much fun as it is in heaven. LOLs.
Have I mention the Internet bills I have to pay? No? Well, it's another nightmare too unless that this month income are MORE than enough to pay those. Yes! Finally, my blogging time pays for itself. Thanks to all of you who have visited me this past month, that's why I mentioned three bloggers above...they're my regular visitors... always nice, too. And I'll never hesitate to visit them back, support them in any way I can. You know, return the favor? I believe in the old school saying "you reap what you sow", if you want to be respected, you have to respect others, if you want to gain, you have to give. That's what I believe, and that's actually what make this month, aside from being busy, is also profiting to me. I put P for profit, Baby!
So, I bet those liars I implicitly mentioned above (at this point I barely can hold myself to not to put their link here) can never achieve this in the foreseeable future. Because they only ask and never give, lying instead being truthful, irritate people wherever they went, slowly killed the respect other's reserved for them in the process. Come on guys, blogging is exhausting already, don't make it worst for you.
Ok. Enough for that.
I also want to inform you, that the comment section is LIVE, now!!! Lols. When first I noticed that visitors can't comment on my post, I panicked. I quickly blamed the template. The sole reason why I didn't change the template is the long Friend's List I have here. I haven't back them up, and to slowly, patiently copy-paste them to the proto-exist BlackBerry Applications Softwares Download is beyond my priority (at that time I still worked on my daily income rate). So, when I realized that I only have to adjust the comment setting in my blogger account to fix that (What a moron!? Lols) I'm glad I didn't change my template in the first place. The template is doing just fine. So, I'm glad to inform you that from todays on, you can comment whatever you like on my post. I believe it's a dofollow, too...(if it's not, please someone tell me how...) so, make sure you comment here anytime you visit. Ok. Thanks everybody. Let's support and respect each other.

Games for BlackBerry

Above is the screenshot of what you will get for your BlackBerry 9000 series (Storm), or so the source say.
