48. my name is John ( on line handle Gaston3690)
49. I liive near Gaston Oregon and am looking for an active forum , users group, whatever .
50. I am retired and do a lot of different hobbies and added 3d printing to the mix. I have a fully equipted machine shop, to putter in and a a shop full of stuff to putter with
51. My son owns a 3d printing company and bought a used printer from a company and they "through in" a CubeX trio. The owners never had it working properly and had lost the paper work and software for it
52. long story short, my son gave it to me. My hope is by buying a cheap 3d printer kit,( the Anet A6) I could learn enough to make the CubeX into a functioning machine
53. Newest addition to my toys is an Anet A6 3d printer and there is a lot I don't understand about it and I really don"t know what i don"t know!!
54. I have made my share of good and bad prints, often not knowing the reasons for the difference!
55. I would like to get connected with other priinter owners, builders, etc WHERE WHEN HOW??!!

 89.
Hello all. So I bought a Prusa i3 kit off of eBay and have finished the build. So now what? I have researched online and it sounds like I need a firmware to run this printer. I believe that I am somewhat intelligent when it comes to programs but this time I'm lost. I downloaded Marlin, Arduina, and Printrun but the lack of instructions is frustrating.
90.
91. Do I need firmware to run this printer or can I just use the SD card slot?
92.
It would be nice to have a group of ppl that can email eachother and help each other with related problems and solutions. I am a master of building things out of unwanted or broken items. This picture shows a 1.75 filament that I'm working on that is made out of recycled printer parts. It works really well so far. Let me know what you think. So let's join together and build build build. The last pics is for a dual axis system I'm working on which is also all recycled parts.

 276.
Hello, My name is Daniel and I found you guys through a quick search on the internet trying to figure out what a RepRap was. My goal for this year is to build a printer and become competent in printing smaller items. I've so far become adept in sleuthing my way through a lot of information on the subject of 3d printing but not much else beyond that. I have a background in graphic design and some experience in 3d programs.
277.
278. I'm hoping I can meet some locals who enjoy making projects and maybe would enjoy sharing knoweledge. I don't know if there have been any formal meet ups yet or not. One thing for sure I would like to check out sooner is what kind of resolution is commen with a RepRap machine or another affordable printer. I have some projects that I want to see how reasonable they would be to reproduce with such printers.
279.
280. That's all i got for now. I look forward to joining and helping promote the future of 3d printing.
281.
