18. It looks like the 27th annual Center of the Nation All Car Rally is on
19. track to be the biggest ever, with around 200 car and motorcycle
20. entries of all kinds. Sam Silacci, president of this year's show,
21. said that feedback he's been getting from around the region indicates
22. that the show is picking up steam to draw more vehicles than ever. There
23. are divisions for cars from all eras, SUVs, hot rods and sports cars.
24. Motorcycles from antiques to the latest custom builds are invited, too,
25. he said.<br />
26. <strong>Friday, June 13, there's a block party and informal car show hosted by Scott Peterson Motors.</strong><br />
27. The
28. 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. event includes live music, free public admission,
29. free food for folks completing their cars' early show registration - and
30. food and beverage vendors for the public.<br />
31. Big black clouds will
32. cover the parking lots starting at 8 p.m. with burnout exhibitions -
33. another tradition from the day of cruising around communities in the
34. '50s and '60s.<br />

71. Belle Fourche was named Small Community of the Year during the recent
72. Governor's Office of Economic Development annual conference in Sioux
73. Falls.<br />
74. In announcing the award for Belle Fourche, Daugaard said, "Belle Fourche is transforming its economic development landscape."<br />
75. The
76. comment about landscape is literal. The city invested in a $4.5 million
77. budget for development of the Industrial Rail Park. A major retail
78. development was just approved.<br />
79. "There's no doubt that Belle Fourche is deserving of the Small Community of the Year award," the governor said.<br />
80. Texas-based Permian Tank announced in late 2013 that it would expand to Belle Fourche.<br />
81. Daugaard told the conference Tuesday that Permian alone will bring up to 65 new jobs and $6.2 million in capital investment.<br />
82. Community leaders saw major growth potential and worked to plan for it.<br />
