Durante el presente curso se seguirá el modelo de Proyecto Bilingüe que comenzó hace dos cursos, en el que se imparte una hora semanal en lengua inglesa de las áreas de Ciencias de la Naturaleza y otra del área de Ciencias Sociales, y se imparten 4 horas semanales del área inglés en primero y segundo de Primaria y cinco horas semanales a partir de tercero. Como novedad, desde el área de inglés se dedicarán momentos durante algunas sesiones para reforzar contenidos trabajados en las áreas bilingües a través de actividades que desarrollen las cinco destrezas lingüísticas. Como siempre, los materiales necesarios se pueden encontrar en la pestaña LIBROS<i> DE TEXTO</i> de este mismo blog.</div>

This new school year we will follow the Bilingual Project started two years ago:  the no linguistic subjects are Natural Science and Social Science. <b>Both subjects are taught in Spanish and in English</b>. 82. Carmen Castillo será la <u>colaboradora voluntaria</u> que permanecerá en nuestras aulas desde el 10 de enero hasta el 21 de marzo de 2018. 87. <i>Teach in Spain</i> programme is at school. A programme in which an English-speaker volunteer come to our school and support teachers in their English lessons. Carmen Castillo is the one who is coming to our school. She will be at school from the 10th of January to next 21st of October. One of the most important aspects of the programme is that she will bring American language to every classroom but also aspects about her culture and her country, the United States of America.</div>

115. El pasado 31 de octubre celebramos la fiesta de Halloween en el colegio. Todos los alumnos y profesores hicimos un recorrido por los pasillos del centro para poder disfrutar de las  decoraciones que colgaban de paredes y ventanas. Finalmente disfrutamos de las actuaciones de los alumnos en grupos por niveles en el patio delantero del colegio.<br />

121. Last 31th of October we celebrated a Halloween Party at school. Students and teachers walk around the halls watching the beautiful decorations on the walls and windows. Everyone dressed up with great costumes and students sang and danced awesome Halloween songs in the playground.<br />

195. Durante este trimestre las maestras participantes en el Proyecto de Innovación Team 2 Teach hemos tenido la gran oportunidad de poder observar a nuestras compañeras y de ser observadas en otras ocasiones. </div>

Ha sido una experiencia única, ya que nunca antes habíamos entrado en las aulas de otros compañeros de nuestro propio centro para ver el planteamiento y desarrollo de sus clases con alumnos que ya han sido o que serán nuestros alumnos, y utilizando los recursos materiales con los que cuenta el centro, los que a veces usamos de formas diferentes, o los que no habíamos utilizado antes. </div>

199. La experiencia ha sido valorada de forma muy positiva por todo el Equipo. Además de observarnos y reflexionar sobre cada unos de los momentos, estamos poniendo en práctica los aspectos y metodologías que más nos han gustado y que hemos aprendido gracias a la generosidad y buen hacer de todas las compañeras. </div>

Las maestras participantes estamos asistiendo a las aulas de nuestras compañeras como observadoras, y del mismo modo el resto del equipo asiste a nuestras clases actuando en este caso como profesor observado u experto. Las cinco maestras que estamos participando en el proyecto estamos muy involucradas con esta tarea, planificando y mostrando lo mejor de nosotras. Además los alumnos están realmente motivados con la nueva experiencia.</div>

Durante este curso cinco de las maestras de la Sección Bilingüe del Centro estamos participando en el Proyecto de Innovación OBSERVA_ACCIÓN, dentro de la acción COMUNICA_ACCIÓN, cuyo ámbito es la formación en la competencia comunicativa en lenguas extranjeras y las nuevas propuestas didácticas, metodológicas y de evaluación.</div>

En concreto, la actividad formativa que se va a llevar a cabo en nuestro centro es la observación y formación grupal, también denominado Aula TEAM 2 TEACH, en la que un equipo de profesores del mismo centro actúan al mismo tiempo de mentores y observadores, compartiendo e intercambiando metodologías y actividades, reflexionando sobre su práctica docente, colaborando, observando y formándose mutuamente.</div>

500. Un nuevo curso comienza y varias son las novedades que se presentan durante este año. </div>

Por un lado, el cambio de las áreas no lingüísticas que se impartirán en la Sección Bilingüe, que como ya venimos informando desde el curso pasado, este año serán Ciencias de la Naturaleza y Ciencias Sociales. <b>Ambas áreas se impartirán en español e inglés</b>. Los materiales que se utilizarán los podéis encontrar en el listado de la página libros de texto. </div>

504. Además, el área de Inglés sufrirá un cambio importante en cuanto al número de horas se refiere, siendo cuatro sesiones semanales en los cursos de 1º y 2º y de cinco sesiones en el resto de los cursos de Primaria. </div>

649. Students of year 1 and year 2 have carried out great artworks using different art techniques. Students of year 1 have made a huge Christmas Tree made out of paper chains as well.<br />
650. Students of year 1, 2, 3 and 4 have constructed a Christmas Tree made out of coloured egg boxes. And students of year 3, 4 and 5 have sewn some felt Christmas decorations. Finally, students of year 6 have created their own Christmas figures using coloured balloons.<br />

746. Entre otros, los cambios que se aprecian tienen que ver con las nuevas áreas de Ciencias Sociales y Ciencias de la Naturaleza, las que en la anterior ley formaban conjuntamente el área de Conocimiento del Medio.<br />
747. A lo que a la Sección Bilingüe se refiere, continuamos impartiendo dos áreas no lingüísticas en lengua extranjera (Inglés), que son Ciencias de la Naturaleza (<i>Natural Sciences)</i> y Plástica (<i>Arts</i>).<br />
748. Como en todos estos años anteriores, nuestro objetivo es mejorar las destrezas orales en nuestros alumnos. Para ello este año contamos con una auxiliar de conversación, Monica Marshall, procedente de Estados Unidos, que nos acompañará hasta el 31 de Mayo. Acompañará a las profesoras que imparten inglés en 5º y 6º de Educación Primaria semanalmente.<br />
