  127. <p>The Coronavirus has now also reached Europe, Sweden and Stockholm where our TPC Sweden office is located.</p>
  128. <p>We, like everyone else, take this very seriously and follow general recommendations why we from last week closed our TPC Stockholm office and instead we are working from home. We will still make some touchdowns in our office when needed.</p>
  129. <p>In the same time we are extra happy to be able to inform you that both our TPC Nanjing and TPC Ningbo offices are 100% open and will make sure that our service for you won´t be affected. Also now all our factories are open.</p>
  130. <p>To avoid the virus to start spreading again in China some actions still follows. Such as using 75% medical alcohol or similar to clean/disinfect homes and offices every day, checking body temperature to make sure one stay at home if any infection risk, wearing masks outside and sometimes at the office and by avoiding crowds. Also, people are still staying mostly at home, avoiding to go outside to shop or going to restaurants etc.</p>
  131. <p>As we know that many of you also work from home these days, we will make sure to contact you before any sending to agree on best arrangement.</p>
  132. <p>Please also remember that we always can arrange photos, films or links which can help you proceed your business in the best way when parcel sendings might be difficult to receive. Let´s be creative here!</p>

  159. <p>We are sorry to inform you that both our offices, fabric mills and garment factories can’t open by today (10th Feb. 2020) as the original plan. For fabric mills, most of fabric mills located in Jiangsu and Zhejiang province, will be delayed to open on 20th Feb. 2020.</p>
  160. <p>For garment factories, all of our cooperated garment factories had already submitted “Return to Work Applications” to the local government. But none of them have received permit until now. Our factories have been keeping communication with local government and trying to get the plan. We will keep you posted once our factories get permit from the government. Both TPC Nanjing office and TPC Ningbo office will continue to work from home this week.</p>
  161. <p>Although we don’t have the chance to look at the status of all orders and pending samples in hand until garment factories/fabric mills return back to work, our merchandisers will reach out to you if we had already foreseen the delay about shipments and they will try to update you in order to make sure we’re in the same front of screen.</p>
  162. <p>For your information, all express companies like DHL, FedEx and UPS also need to get the permit from local government. We have already got temporarily notice from DHL that they also haven’t got permit for “Return to Work Application” from local government until now so they can’t collect and dispatch packages by 10<sup>th</sup> Feb. 2020. They will update once getting permit. Same for FedEx and UPS.</p>

  189. <header>We are sure you are all aware of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in Wuhan, Hubei province. The Chinese Government has been actively taking many measures together with the whole society to fight against the pneumonia outbreak caused by the novel coronavirus. Chinese health authorities has been updating the data for cases of novel coronavirus every day. The main epidemic situation is still in Wuhan and other cities have little impact.</p>
  190. <p>In order to control the novel coronavirus, local government in Jiangsu and Zhejiang province have decided that schools should remain closed until 17<sup>th</sup> of February. All companies and factories in Jiangsu and Zhejiang province can’t open until 10<sup>th</sup> Feb. 2020. But our merchandiser team will do their best to maintain service to all our customers from home. You will have a separate email from your merchandiser with more detailed information regarding your brand. We believe we will have more clear information in the coming weeks and we will keep you all updated.</p>
  191. <p>We will start to look at the status of all orders and pending samples in hand when garment factories/fabric mills returning back to work on 10<sup>th</sup> Feb. 2020. In case we foresee any potential delay, we will share all information and together with you try to find the best solution.</p>
  192. <p>For your information, all express companies like DHL, FedEx and UPS also need to follow the notice from local government. It means they won’t collect and dispatch packages until 10<sup>th</sup> Feb. 2020 in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Guangdong, Jiangxi, Shandong, Neimenggu, Shanghai and Chongqing. This means we will not be able to send any speed post to you until earliest 10th of February. Other provinces will start to provide services from 3<sup>rd</sup> Feb. 2020.</p>

  248. <div class="">There are those who believe it is impossible to change the world. UNICEF knows how it works and how to do it. All over the world, they fight in government corridors, slums, refugee camps and remote villages to ensure that all children have the childhood they are entitled to. Every day, they help millions of children survive and develop. Babies are vaccinated against deadly diseases. More and more girls are allowed to attend school. Child soldiers are freed and families reunite after disasters. UNICEF does not receive any financial support from the UN, their work is financed exclusively by voluntary contributions from individuals and companies. Therefore, this Christmas too, we are donating money to UNICEF’S important work for children’s rights.</div>

  277. <p>We are very proud and happy about the fact that we arrange more and more of recycled, or in other ways, sustainable fabrics and trims for our clients. Yesterday we attended a very interesting seminar about how brands and companies in general must take act and be responsible in how they communicate sustainable products to their customers. The seminar was held by Swedish Konsumentverket (The Swedish Consumer<span class="text_exposed_show"> Agency) and their legal experts presented facts, examples and advices. This turned out to be an area that is not very easy to navigate in and there are no exact regulations to follow, but two major advises were given at the seminar:</span></p>

  279. <p>* Be very clear about what you refer to when you talk about sustainability. Is it your company, your product, your product´s fabric or what?<br />
  280. * How can you in detail and by documentation verify this in facts?</p>
  281. <p>This is a very interesting and important subject that also pushes us a supplier to always in the best possible way secure our sources in the production chain. Together we can hopefully make it easier for the customers to understand the information.</p>

  307. <p>In our opinion you get the best team when you can mix skills, personalities, ages, experiences, competences, origin and gender. That is why we are so very happy and proud of our TPC Team! It is exactly this group and mix of people that makes TPC what it is.</p>
  308. <p>At TPC Textile we are today a total of 55 persons in Nanjing, Ningbo and Stockholm, and we are all as important. In Stockholm we have our Sales office and in the Nanjing and Ningbo office you find our merchandisers, fabric &amp; garment QC´s, pattern makers, technicians, sample room colleagues, logistics and more who every day handle all details around the productions we run for our clients.</p>
