In an unexpected statement shared via Telegram, Pink Drainer, the wallet drainer tool known for siphoning funds from cryptocurrency wallets, announced its retirement. This decision comes after Pink Drainer said that it had reached its goal.

<li>In their final message, Pink Drainer’s developers also said they have no plans to return. They added that any messages purporting to be from them should be treated with suspicion unless they are verified by specific wallet signatures (0x636/0x9fa).</li>
<li>The Pink Drainer’s dev <a href="https://t.me/investigations/125" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpel-link="external">note</a> shared by the on-chain sleuth, ZachXBT on Telegram revealed,</li>

<li>The development was further <a href="https://x.com/PeckShieldAlert/status/1791389262182760917" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpel-link="external">confirmed</a> by blockchain security company PeckShield which notified the departure, while also pointing out that the Pink Drainer addresses had deposited a total of up to 18.1 million DAI into the DeFi lending protocol Spark, which represents approximately 1.35% of the total sDAI tokens.</li>
<li>This alarming <a href="https://cryptopotato.com/pink-drainer-addresses-stakes-12m-dai-in-spark-becoming-top-sdai-holder-peckshield/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpel-link="internal">revelation</a> meant that Pink Drainer was one of the largest sDAI holders, as per PeckShield.</li>
<li>According to ScamSniffer <a href="https://dune.com/scamsniffer/pinkdrainer-stats" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpel-link="external">data</a>, Pink Drainer has stolen over $85 million in cryptocurrency from more than 21,000 victims over the past year.</li>

Mayorkas was asked at an event at The Economic Club in Washington, D.C., about the border crisis, and the historic numbers of migrants the U.S. has been seeing in recent years. There were more than <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/us/immigration/border-security" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2.4 million migrant encounters</a> in FY 23, and that mark could be broken in FY 24, although monthly numbers have decreased.
"The number of encounters at the southern border is very high, but it's very, very important, number one, to contextualize it and, number two, to explain it," he said. From a context perspective, the world is seeing the greatest level of displacement since at least World War II."

"So the challenge of migration is not exclusive to the southern border, nor to the Western Hemisphere," he said. "It is global."
Mayorkas cited violence, insecurity, poverty, corruption, authoritarian regimes and "extreme weather events" among the reasons for migration across the globe. However, he also said there were additional explanations for why the U.S. was a top destination.
"In our hemisphere, we overcame COVID more rapidly than any other country. We had, in a post-COVID world, 11 million jobs to fill, we are a country of choice as a destination, and one takes those two forces and then one considers the fact that we have an immigration system that is broken fundamentally and we have a level of encounters that we do," he asserted.
As evidence that the system is broken, Mayorkas said that the average time between an encounter and the adjuciation of an asylum claim is seven years. He was later asked by David Rubenstein, president of the Economic Club, how many people have come across the border since President Biden took office.
"It's several million people," Mayorkas said.
Rubenstein asked if it was true that more people have come in under President Biden than former President Trump.
Mayorkas said it was, but said that was in part due to a suppression of migration during the COVID pandemic that followed a significant increase in migration under the last pre-COVID Trump year.

"That is true," he said. "Now in 2019, there was almost a 100% increase in the <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/us/immigration" target="_blank" rel="noopener">number of encounters</a> at the southern border over 2018. The situation in the hemisphere was propelling people to leave their country. 2020 was a period of tremendously suppressed migration throughout the hemisphere and around the world because of the COVID-19 people coming over the border illegally."
The Biden administration has defended its record on immigration, saying it has combined additional consequences for illegal entry with broader pathways for lawful migration. It has coupled that with calls for reform and additional funding from Congress, including most recently a bipartisan Senate bill that has failed to pick up support. It has also pointed to 720,000 removals or returns of illegal immigrants since May 2023, more than in every full fiscal year since 2011. &nbsp;

Mayorkas also noted a recent drop in numbers that showed 179,725 encounters in April, compared to 211,992 in April 2023 and 189,357 in March.&nbsp;
Republicans, however, have blamed the Biden administration for the border crisis, saying it is the rolling back of Trump-era policies that have caused the surge in migration. Republicans in the House have passed their own border security bill, which would restart border wall construction and limit asylum claims, among other inclusions. They also impeached Mayorkas earlier this year, but those articles of impeachment have not been taken up in the Senate for a trial.

<a href="https://www.foxnews.com/world/senegals-opposition-leader-ousmane-sonko-address-supporters-months-prison" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ousmane Sonko</a> also criticized efforts by France and the West to promote values that he said didn't fit with those held by Senegal and other African countries, including LGBTQ rights and monogamy. Polygamy is widely practiced in Senegal.

Sonko was speaking late Thursday at an event held jointly with the French far-left politician Jean-Luc Mélenchon in the capital, Dakar.
Sonko is known for his criticism of interference by France, which is Senegal's former colonial ruler. His fiery views in a region where other neighbors have already taken steps to cut ties with France helped his chosen candidate <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/world/bassirou-diomaye-faye-emerges-senegals-next-president-contentious-election-cycle" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bassirou Diomaye Faye</a> win the presidential election in March.
"I want to reiterate Senegal’s desire for self-determination, which is incompatible with the long-term presence of foreign military bases in Senegal," Sonko said.
He said the desire to question the presence of French and other foreign forces didn't undermine existing defense treaties that Senegal has signed with those countries. France has about 350 troops in Senegal.
While Sonko warned that promoting LGBTQ rights could cause conflict between Senegal and France, Mélenchon responded that he had introduced legislation permitting same-sex marriage in France.
"I thought that this freedom to love anyone had to be open to all that wanted to enjoy it," the French politician said.
Senegal is considered a pillar of stability in a region that has experienced a wave of coups in recent years, and Sonko’s remarks are likely to draw attention from Western allies.
Following coups in Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger, all three nations have expelled French troops and turned to Russia instead for help fighting yearslong insurgencies there. The three nations also formed their own alliance of Sahel states, causing a split within the Economic Community of West African States, or ECOWAS.
Sonko, whose party has said ECOWAS needs to be reformed, reiterated criticism of the regional bloc for allowing the divisions to grow.
"We will not abandon our brothers in the Sahel and will do everything necessary to strengthen our ties," he said.

Mosby has asked to be sentenced to probation, though prosecutors are seeking 20 months in federal prison.&nbsp;
"As a nation that leads by example, our justice system must not be weaponized to prevent progress toward a more perfect union," wrote U.S. Rep. Steven Horsford, D-Nev., who chairs the caucus.

Mosby, 44, who served two terms as state's attorney for Baltimore, was convicted in February of <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/us/us-regions/northeast/maryland" target="_blank" rel="noopener">one count of mortgage fraud</a> after she testified that she unintentionally made false statements on loan applications to buy two Florida vacation homes.&nbsp;
In November, she was convicted of <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/former-baltimore-prosecutor-marilyn-mosby-found-guilty-two-counts-perjury" target="_blank" rel="noopener">two counts of perjury</a> by a federal jury after she falsely claimed financial hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic so she could withdraw money from the city’s retirement fund.&nbsp;
Mosby lost her bid for re-election in 2022 after <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/entertainment/events/in-court" target="_blank" rel="noopener">being indicted</a>. During her trial, she said she didn't intentionally lie on the mortgage applications but that it was her failure to disclose the debt on her applications that contributed to the mortgage fraud charges.
"While pardon applications generally express remorse and regret, what happens when justice was not served and in fact, denied? No such remorse and regret is appropriate in this case," Mosby's pardon application states, The Baltimore Sun reported.&nbsp;
Mosby is requesting probation but prosecutors are seeking a sentence of 20 months. The maximum penalty is 40 years.
On Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre declined to comment on the matter, citing the pardon application process.&nbsp;

They exchanged gifts, with Hana's becoming more lavish as his business prospered. The defense urged the jury to consider the evidence impartially, emphasizing cultural norms regarding gift giving, particularly citing the exchange of gold bars commonly practiced in the Middle East.

De Castro acknowledged the exchange of gold bars and cash by his client but dismissed them as innocent gestures, not bribery. He underscored Daibes' generosity and wealth, portraying him as a philanthropic figure who invests in his loved ones.
All three alleged conspirators have pleaded not guilty, but co-defendant Jose Uribe, who will not testify this week, has pleaded guilty and agreed to testify against the other defendants. A trial for the senator’s wife, Nadine, who is also charged and has also pleaded not guilty, is delayed until at least July for health reasons as she battles Stage 3 breast cancer. The case may extend anywhere from 6-8 weeks.
This is the second time in a decade Menendez has been accused in a federal corruption case.&nbsp;
<a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/us/crime/trials" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Menendez was charged</a> by federal prosecutors with obstruction of justice in a superseding indictment unsealed in March relating to a multiyear alleged bribery scheme involving the governments of Egypt and Qatar.
The 18-page indictment is wrapped into Menendez's existing charges already against him and his co-defendants, including wife Nadine, for allegedly acting as a foreign agent and accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes to benefit the Egyptian government through his power and influence as a senator.

HARRISON BUTKER: Ladies and gentlemen of the class of 2024, I would like to start off by congratulating all of you for successfully making it to this achievement today. I'm sure your high school graduation was not what you had imagined, and most likely neither was your first couple years of college.
By making it to this moment through all the adversity thrown your way <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/health/infectious-disease/coronavirus" target="_blank" rel="noopener">from COVID</a>, I hope you learned the important lessons that suffering in this life is only temporary. As a group, you witnessed firsthand how bad leaders who don't stay in their lane can have a negative impact on society. It is through this lens that I want to take stock of how we got to where we are and where we want to go as citizens, and yes, as Catholics.
One last thing before I begin, I want to be sure to thank President Minnis and the board for their invitation to speak. When President Minnis first reached out a couple of months ago, I had originally said no.&nbsp;
You see, last year, I gave the commencement address at my alma mater, Georgia Tech, and I felt that one graduation speech was more than enough, especially for someone who isn't a professional speaker. But, of course, President Minnis used his gift of persuasion and spoke to the many challenges you all faced throughout the COVID fiasco and how you missed out on so many milestones the rest of us older people have taken for granted.
While COVID might have played a large role throughout your formative years, it is not unique. Bad policies and poor leadership have negatively impacted major life issues. Things like abortion, IVF, surrogacy, euthanasia as well as a growing support for degenerate cultural values and media all stem from the pervasiveness of disorder.&nbsp;
Our own nation is led by a man who publicly and proudly proclaims his Catholic faith but at the same time is delusional enough to make the sign of the cross during a <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/politics/judiciary/abortion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pro-abortion rally</a>. He has been so vocal in his support for the murder of innocent babies that, I'm sure to many people, it appears that you can be both Catholic and pro-choice. He is not alone. From the man behind the COVID lockdowns to the people pushing dangerous gender ideologies onto the youth of America, they all have a glaring thing in common: they are Catholic. This is an important reminder that being Catholic alone doesn't cut it.
These are the sorts of things we are told in polite society to not bring up. You know, the difficult and unpleasant things. But if we are going to be men and women for this time in history, we need to stop pretending that the "church of nice" is a winning proposition. We must always speak and act in charity but never mistake charity for cowardice.&nbsp;
It is safe to say that over the past few years I've gained quite the reputation for speaking my mind. I never envisioned myself nor wanted to have this sort of a platform, but God has given it to me, so I have no other choice but to embrace it and preach more hard truths about accepting your lane and staying in it.
As members of the church founded by Jesus Christ, it is our duty and, ultimately, privilege to be authentically and unapologetically Catholic. Don't be mistaken. Even within the church, people in polite Catholic circles will try to persuade you to remain silent. There even was an award-winning film called "Silence" made by a fellow Catholic, wherein one of the main characters, a Jesuit priest, abandoned the church and, as an apostate, when he died is seen grasping a crucifix quiet and unknown to anyone but God. As a friend of <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/us/education/college" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Benedictine College</a>, his Excellency Bishop Robert Barron said in his review of the film, it was exactly what the cultural elite want to see in Christianity: private, hidden away and harmless.
Our Catholic faith has always been countercultural. Our Lord along with countless followers were all put to death for their adherence to her teachings. The world around us says that we should keep our beliefs to ourselves whenever they go against the tyranny of diversity, equity and inclusion. We fear speaking truth, because now, unfortunately, truth is in the minority. Congress just passed a bill where stating something as basic as the Biblical teaching of who killed Jesus could land you in jail.
But make no mistake, before we even attempt to fix any of the issues plaguing society, we must first get our own house in order, and it starts with our leaders. The bishops and priests appointed by God as our spiritual fathers must be rightly ordered. There is not enough time today for me to list all the stories of priests and bishops misleading their flocks, but none of us can blame ignorance anymore and just blindly proclaim that that's what father said. Because, sadly, many priests we are looking to for leadership are the same ones who prioritize their hobbies or even photos with their dogs in matching outfits for the parish directory.&nbsp;

It’s easy for us laymen and women to think that in order for us to be holy, that we must be active in our parish and try to fix it. Yes, we absolutely should be involved in supporting our parishes, but we cannot be the source for our parish priests to lean on to help with their problems. Just as we look at the relationship between a father and his son, so too should we look at the relationship between a priest and his people. It would not be appropriate for me to always be looking to my son for help when it is my job as his father to lead him.
St. Josemaría Escrivá states that priests are ordained to serve and should not yield to temptation to imitate lay people but to be priests, through and through. Tragically, so many priests revolve much of their happiness from the adulation they receive from their parishioners, and in searching for this, they let their guard down and become overly familiar. This undue familiarity will prove to be problematic every time, because as my teammate’s girlfriend says, "familiarity breeds contempt."&nbsp;
St. Josemaría continues that some want to see the priest as just another man. That is not so. They want to find in the priests those virtues proper to every Christian and indeed every honorable man: understanding, justice, a life of work, priestly work in this instance and good manners.&nbsp;
It is not prudent as the laity for us to consume ourselves in becoming amateur theologians so that we can decipher this or that theological teaching unless, of course, you are a theology major. We must be intentional with our focus on our state in life and our own vocation and, for most of us, that's as married men and women.
Still, we have so many great resources at our fingertips that it doesn't take long to find traditional and timeless teachings that haven't been ambiguously reworded for our times. Plus, there are still many good and holy priests, and it's up to us to seek them out.&nbsp;
The chaos of the world is unfortunately reflected in the chaos in our parishes and, sadly, in our cathedrals too. As we saw during the pandemic, too many bishops were not leaders at all. They were motivated by fear: fear of being sued, fear of being removed, fear of being disliked. They showed by their actions, intentional or unintentional, that the sacraments don't actually matter. Because of this, countless people died alone, without access to the sacraments, and it's a tragedy we must never forget.
<a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/us/religion/roman-catholic" target="_blank" rel="noopener">As Catholics</a>, we can look to so many examples of heroic shepherds who gave their lives for their people and, ultimately, the church. We cannot buy into the lie that the things we experienced during COVID were appropriate. Over the centuries there have been great wars, great famines, and, yes, even great diseases. All that came with a level of lethality and danger. But in each of those examples, church leaders leaned into their vocations and ensured that their people received the sacraments.&nbsp;
Great saints like St. Damien of Molokai, who knew the dangers of his ministry, stayed for 11 years as a spiritual leader to the leper colonies of Hawaii. His heroism is looked at today as something set apart and unique when, ideally, it should not be unique at all. For as a father loves his child, so a shepherd should love his spiritual children too.
That goes even more so for our bishops. These men, who are present day apostles, our bishops, once had adoring crowds of people kissing their rings and taking in their every word, but now relegate themselves to a position of inconsequential existence. Now, when a bishop of a diocese or the bishops conference as a whole puts out an important document on this matter or that, nobody even takes a moment to read it, let alone follow it. No. Today, our shepherds are far more concerned with keeping the doors open to the Chancery than they are with saying that difficult stuff out loud. It seems that the only time you hear from your bishops is when it’s time for the annual appeal.&nbsp;
Whereas we need our bishops to be vocal about the teachings of the Church, setting aside their own personal comfort and embracing their cross. Our bishops are not politicians but shepherds. So, instead of fitting in the world by going along to get along, they too need to stay in their lane and lead.
I say all of this not from a place of anger, as we get the leaders we deserve. But this does make me reflect on staying in my lane and focusing on my own vocation and how I can be a better father and husband and live in the world, but not be of it. Focusing on my vocation while praying and fasting for these men will do more for the church than me complaining about our leaders.&nbsp;
Because there seems to be so much confusion coming from our leaders. There needs to be concrete examples for people to look to, and places like Benedictine, a little Kansas college built high on a bluff above the Missouri River, are showing the world how an ordered Christ-centered existence is the recipe for success. You need to look no further than the examples all around this campus, where over the past 20 years enrollment has doubled, construction and revitalization are a constant part of life and people, the students, the faculty and staff are thriving.&nbsp;
This didn’t happen by chance. In a deliberate movement to embrace traditional Catholic values, Benedictine has gone from just another liberal arts school with nothing to set it apart to a thriving beacon of light and a reminder to us all that when you embrace tradition, success, worldly and spiritual will follow.&nbsp;

I am certain the reporters at the AP could not have imagined that their attempt to rebuke and embarrass places and people like those here at Benedictine wouldn’t be met with anger, but instead with excitement and pride. Not the deadly sin sort of pride that has an entire month dedicated to it, but the true God-centered pride that is cooperating with the Holy Ghost to glorify Him. Reading that article now shared all over the world, we see that in the complete surrender of self and a turning towards Christ, you will find happiness.&nbsp;
Right here in a little town in Kansas, we find many inspiring lay people using their talents. President Minnis, Dr. Swofford and Dr. Zimmer are a few great examples right here on this very campus that will keep the light of Christ burning bright for generations to come.&nbsp;
Being locked in with your vocation and staying in your lane is going to be the surest way for you to find true happiness and peace in this life. It is essential that we focus on our own state in life, whether that be as a layperson, or priests or religious.
Ladies and gentlemen of the class of 2024, you are sitting at the edge of the rest of your lives. Each of you has the potential to leave a legacy that transcends yourselves and this era of human existence. In the small ways by living out your vocation, you will ensure that God’s Church continues and the world is enlightened by your example.&nbsp;
For the ladies present today, congratulations on an amazing accomplishment. You should be proud of all that you have achieved to this point in your young lives. I want to speak directly to you briefly, because I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolical lies told to you: how many of you are sitting here now about to cross the stage and are thinking about all the promotions and titles you are going to get in your career.&nbsp;
Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world. I can tell you that my beautiful wife Isabelle would be the first to say that her life truly started when she began living her vocation as a wife and as a mother.
I’m on this stage today and able to be the man I am because I have a wife who leans into her vocation. I’m beyond blessed with the many talents God has given me. But it cannot be overstated, that all of my success is made possible because a girl I met in band class back in middle school would convert to the faith, become my wife and embrace one of the most important titles of all: homemaker.&nbsp;

She’s a primary educator to our children. She’s the one who ensures I never let football or my business become a distraction from that of a husband and father. She's the person that knows me best at my core. And it is through our marriage that, Lord willing, we will both attain salvation.&nbsp;
I say all of this to you because I have seen it firsthand how much happier someone can be when they disregard the outside noise and move closer and closer to God’s will in their life. Isabelle’s dream of having a career might not have come true. But if you ask her today, if she has any regrets on her decision, she would laugh out loud without hesitation and say, "heck no."
As a man who gets a lot of praise and has been given a platform to speak to audiences like this one today, I pray that I always use my voice for God and not for myself. Everything I am saying to you is not from a place of wisdom but rather a place of experience. I am hopeful that these words will be seen as those from a man, not much older than you, who feels it is imperative that this class, this generation and this time in our society must stop pretending that the things we see around us are normal.
Heterodox ideas abound, even within Catholic circles, because, let’s be honest, there is nothing good about playing God with having children, whether that be your ideal number or the perfect time to conceive. No matter how you spin it, there is nothing natural about Catholic birth control.&nbsp;

It is only in the past few years that I have grown encouraged to speak more boldly and directly, because, as I mentioned earlier, I have leaned into my vocation as a husband and father and as a man.
To the gentleman here today, part of what plagues our society is this lie that has been told to you that men are not necessary in the home or in our communities. As men, we set the tone of the culture. And when that is absent, disorder, dysfunction and chaos set in this absence of men in the home is what plays a large role in the violence we see all around the nation. Other countries do not have nearly the same absentee father rates as we find here in the U.S., and a correlation can be made in their drastically lower violence rates as well.&nbsp;
Be unapologetic in your masculinity. Fighting against the cultural emasculation of men. Do hard things. Never settle for what is easy. You might have a talent that you don’t necessarily enjoy, but if it glorifies God, maybe you should lean into that over something that you might think suits you better. I speak from experience as an introvert who now finds myself as an amateur public speaker and an entrepreneur, something I never thought I’d be when I received my industrial engineering degree.
The road ahead is bright, things are changing, society is shifting, and people young and old are embracing tradition. Not only has it been my vocation that has helped me and those closest to me, but, not surprising to many of you, should be my outspoken embrace of the traditional Latin Mass. I’ve been very vocal in my love and devotion to the TLM and its necessity for our lives, but what I think gets misunderstood is that people who attend the TLM do so out of pride or preference. I can speak to my own experience, but for most people I have come across within these communities, this simply is not true.&nbsp;
I do not attend the TLM because I think I’m better than others, or for the smells and bells, or even for the love of Latin. I attend TLM because I believe just as the God of the Old Testament was pretty particular and how he wanted to be worshiped, the same holds true for us today. It is through the TLM that I encountered order and began to pursue it in my own life.&nbsp;
Aside from the TLM itself, too many of our sacred traditions have been relegated to things of the past. When in my parish, things such as Ember Days — days when we fast and pray for vocations and for our priests — are still adhered to.

The TLM is so essential that I would challenge each of you to pick a place to move where it is readily available. A lot of people have complaints about the parish or the community, but we should not sacrifice the mass for community. I prioritize the TLM even if the parish isn’t beautiful, the priest isn’t great or the community isn’t amazing. I still go to the TLM because I believe the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is more important than anything else.&nbsp;
I say this knowing full well that when each of you rekindle your knowledge and adherence to many of the church’s greatest traditions, you will see how much more colorful and alive your life can and should be. As you move on from this place and enter into the world, know that you will face many challenges.
Sadly, I’m sure many of you know of the countless stories of good and active members of this community who, after graduation and moving away from the Benedictine Bubble, have ended up moving in with their boyfriend or girlfriend prior to marriage. Some even leave the church and abandon God. It is always heartbreaking to hear these stories, and there’s a desire to know what happened and what went wrong.&nbsp;
What you must remember is that life is about doing the small things well: setting yourself up for success and surrounding yourself with people who continually push you to be the best version of you. I say this all the time, that iron sharpens iron. It’s a great reminder that those closest to us should be making us better.&nbsp;
If you are dating someone who doesn’t even share your faith, how do you expect that person to help you become a saint? If your friend group is filled with people who only think about what you’re doing next weekend and are not willing to have those difficult conversations, how can they help sharpen you?&nbsp;
As you prepare to enter into the workforce, it is extremely important that you actually think about the places you are moving to. Who is the bishop? What kind of parishes are there? Do they offer the TLM and have priests who embrace their priestly vocation? Cost of living must not be the only arbiter of your choices. For a life without God is not a life at all. And the cost of salvation is worth more than any career.
I’m excited for the future. And I pray that something I have said will resonate as you move on to the next chapter of your life. Never be afraid to profess the one holy Catholic and apostolic Church, for this is the Church that Jesus Christ established, through which we receive sanctifying grace.&nbsp;
I know that my message today had a little less fluff than is expected for these speeches, but I believe that this audience and this venue is the best place to speak openly and honestly about who we are and where we all want to go, which is heaven.&nbsp;
I thank God for Benedictine College and for the example it provides to the world. I thank God for men like President Minnis who are doing their part for the kingdom: come to find out you can have an authentically Catholic College and a <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/sports/nfl" target="_blank" rel="noopener">thriving football program</a>.&nbsp;

The Department of Justice on Thursday informed House Republicans investigating Biden that the executive branch would not turn over subpoenaed materials from Hur's investigation.&nbsp;

Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and James Comer, R-Ky., chairmen of the Committee on the Judiciary and Committee on Oversight and Accountability, respectively.
Hur led the investigation into <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/person/joe-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Biden's handling of classified documents</a> following his departure as vice president under the Obama administration. Hur announced in February that he would not recommend criminal charges against Biden for possessing classified materials after his vice presidency, citing that Biden is "a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory."

Biden met with Hur for about five hours last year, when he was grilled about his handling of the classified documents.&nbsp;
After Republicans received news that Biden had invoked executive privilege to protect that testimony, House Speaker <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/person/mike-johnson" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mike Johnson</a>, R-La., accused the president of being "afraid" to release the tapes.&nbsp;
"President Biden is apparently afraid for the citizens of this country and everyone to hear those tapes," Johnson said at a news conference. "They obviously confirm what the Special Counsel has found, and would likely cause I suppose, in his estimation, such alarm with the American people that the president is using all of his power to suppress their release."
Asked to respond to the speaker, Jean-Pierre insisted the president had nothing to hide since transcripts of his interview with Hur have been made publicly available for months.

"The transcripts are already out there. They've been out there, they have been released to the public," she told reporters. Jean-Pierre deferred to the attorney general and the president when asked why the audio and video must be protected when the transcript has already been released.&nbsp;

"President Biden's decision to withhold weapons approved by myself, the chairman and the ranking member and appropriated by Congress, defied congressional intent and is tantamount to an arms embargo," House Foreign Affairs Chairman Michael McCaul, R-Texas, said during debate for the bill.&nbsp;
"Red lines are meant for our enemies. Red lines are not meant for our allies and our friends. But that's precisely what this administration is doing to Israel."

"House Democrats have made it clear they'd rather stand in solidarity with terrorists than support our strongest ally in the Middle East," House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, R-Minn., the No. 3 House Republican leader, told Fox News Digital.
But opponents of the bill argued that it could set a dangerous precedent for restricting a president's ability to conduct foreign policy.
It comes after Biden faced <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/media/bidens-weapons-pause-israel-confuses-annoys-democrats-suck-communicating" target="_blank" rel="noopener">bipartisan backlash</a> from pro-Israel lawmakers for pausing a bomb shipment from Israel over fears it could be used in Rafah, as well as for warning Israel that the U.S. would not send offensive weapons if they were used on population centers in the southern Gaza Strip.&nbsp;However, Thursday's vote happened days after Biden announced he was moving forward with a $1 billion weapons shipment to Israel, according to reports.

The President has been clear: we will always ensure Israel has what it needs to defend itself," the <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/politics/executive/white-house" target="_blank" rel="noopener">White House</a> said earlier this week.&nbsp;
"Furthermore, this bill, if enacted, could lead to spiraling unintended consequences, prohibiting the United States from adjusting our security assistance posture with respect to Israel in any way, including to address unanticipated emergent needs, even if Israel and the United States agree that military needs have changed and supplies should change accordingly."

Kevin Stitt initially shared news of Sharitta Shinese Grier's arrest in a Wednesday interview with Fox News Digital after he sent a letter to Turks and Caicos Governor Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam urging the release of three Americans currently detained in the islands, along with Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin.
Grier, 45, is the fifth American to be arrested and detained in TCI after being caught with ammunition in an airport since February, along with <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/us/us-regions/southwest/oklahoma" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ryan Watson of Oklahoma,</a> Tyler Wenrich of Virginia, Bryan Hagerich of Pennsylvania and Michael Lee Evans of Texas.
"The particulars of the offence state that on Monday, May 13th, 2024, during a routine search at the Howard Hamilton International Airport, Providenciales, Ms. Grier allegedly had ammunition in her possession," the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force said in a Thursday press release.

The three men have also said they had no intention of bringing ammo to the islands but had forgotten it in their bags from prior hunting trips.
"We had no intentions of ever bringing anything into this country. . . . It was just trying to pack board shorts and flip-flops, and that was all we were concerned about bringing," Watson previously told Fox News Digital. "So … it never dawned on us to research any of these things. And there are a lot of locals that have been just such a blessing and have had such gracious hearts."
The detainees must argue before the TCI Superior Court that they were arrested under "exceptional circumstances," which includes proving they have no prior criminal record, they did not intend to bring ammunition into the airport and why a 12-year sentence would be excessive in their cases.&nbsp;

People in Turks and Caicos do not have a constitutional right to carry firearms, the government said in an April press release following news of the Americans' arrests.

<a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/politics" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The State Department</a> recently issued a PSA on X saying that Americans "can be arrested for having any ammunition, even a single stray shell or casing" in many countries. The Department prompted travelers to check pockets and "every nook and cranny" of suitcases "before traveling to avoid running into problems overseas."
Stitt and Youngkin, both Republicans; and Shapiro, a Democrat, are asking Turks and Caicos to "reconsider" the <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/us/crime" target="_blank" rel="noopener">charges filed against Watson, Wenrich and Hagerich</a> and "expedite their release back to their families as soon as possible."
"As governors, we understand and appreciate the critical importance of upholding the laws and regulations of your territory for the protection of your citizens," they wrote. Former <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-accepts-biden-offer-debate-him-june-september" target="_blank" rel="noopener">President Trump accepted President Biden's offer</a> to debate him on television in June and September.&nbsp;
After Trump said he was in, Biden said in a post on X that he "received and accepted an invitation" from CNN for a debate on June 27 — which is far, far earlier in the election cycle than most presidential year showdowns.&nbsp;
"Over to you, Donald. As you said: anywhere, any time, any place," Biden wrote. <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/here-all-restrictions-bidens-team-demanded-their-trump-debate-offer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Biden did have several requirements</a> for the debates, including that they be held without a live audience, and with microphones that cut out when each candidate's time expired.
Trump told Fox News Digital that he will accept and "will be there." The Republican added that he is "looking forward to being in beautiful Atlanta."
The proposal was initially outlined by the Biden-Harris campaign in a letter to the bipartisan Commission on Presidential Debates on Wednesday morning. It abandoned the decades-old tradition of three fall meetings organized by the debate commission. Trump afterward told Fox News Digital that he'd accept the timeline proposed by the incumbent Democrat.&nbsp;
"Crooked <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/person/joe-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Joe Biden</a> is the worst debater I have ever faced — he can't put two sentences together," Trump told Fox News Digital. "Crooked is also the worst president in the history of the United States, by far."&nbsp;
Trump told Fox News Digital that "it is time for a debate to take place – even if it has to be held through the offices of the <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/politics/elections/presidential-debate" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Commission on Presidential Debates</a>, which are totally controlled by Democrats and who, as people remember, got caught cheating with me with debate sound levels."

"It was my first day there, and I was meeting my roommate for the first time," Turner recalled in an interview with <a href="https://www.vogue.co.uk/article/sophie-turner-british-vogue-interview" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">British Vogue</a>. "Before we settled down to chat, I told her that I just needed to go and take a pregnancy test. I took the test and was like: ‘I’m pregnant, so nice to meet you!’"

"Maybe because I was so young, I sat on it for a week," she explained. "Thankfully, there were therapists there to help me talk things through. I told my husband when I got back. I remember throwing the pregnancy test at him, saying, ‘What do you think we should do? Do you think we should have it?’"
"When you’re in your early 20s, life is so frivolous," Turner explained. "At that point, I really didn’t know if I wanted to be a mother, but something changed in me that day. I just knew I had to have her."
Representatives for Jonas did not respond to Fox News Digital's immediate request for comment.

<a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/sophie-turner-baby-birth-joe-jonas" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Turner gave birth</a> to her first child with Jonas in 2020, amid the coronavirus pandemic. Willa arrived in the summer, and the actress spent 10 months bonding with her daughter.
"At that age, everything changes so quickly," Turner told the outlet. "One week they’re breastfeeding and the next they’re sitting there eating avocado. It’s a real miracle to just watch them grow up in front of your eyes."
Jonas and Turner welcomed their second daughter, Delphine, in 2022.
"Because my ex and I travel so much, I wanted Willa to have a sibling. I wanted them to have each other," Turner said, revealing their second child was very much planned. "They’re so much fun, total girlie girls and absolute rays of sunshine in my life."

Turner and Jonas first met in 2016 after the Jonas Brothers singer reached out to the actress via Instagram. They got engaged in 2017 and tied the knot in an impromptu Vegas wedding in 2019.

"After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage," the estranged couple later wrote in a joint statement. "There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision, and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."
Shortly following the divorce announcement, Turner sued Jonas in a New York court over the custody of their two children. She claimed she learned of the divorce filing "through the media" in the court documents obtained by Fox News Digital. The marriage between Turner and Jonas broke down "very suddenly" following "an argument" that occurred on the "Cake by the Ocean" singer's 34th birthday.
Turner also accused Jonas of "the wrongful retention" of their daughters for multiple days. The actress said Jonas' attorney, Thomas J. Sasser, acknowledged that the pop star wouldn't give up the kids' passports or "consent for the children to return home to England."

Turner recalled being portrayed as a bad mom in tabloids and on gossip sites, while Jonas was shown as the doting dad to their daughters. She told British Vogue "those were the worst few days of my life."
"I remember I was on set, I was contracted to be on set for another two weeks, so I couldn’t leave. My kids were in the States and I couldn’t get to them because I had to finish ‘Joan.’ And all these articles started coming out. It hurt because I really do completely torture myself over every move I make as a mother — mum guilt is so real! I just kept having to say to myself, ‘None of this is true. You are a good mum and you’ve never been a partier.’"
Turner has also reflected on the back-and-forth with Jonas over their kids, saying "communication" is the "number one most important thing" in a relationship.
"I’ve started doing this thing with friends called Safe Space Saturdays," Turner explained to British Vogue. "We can tell each other anything that’s on our minds and sort it out with really healthy communication, because I never want to be left in the dark in a relationship."
"I’m unhappy with the way everything played out, especially when it comes to my children," she continued, now referring to the couple's divorce. "They’re the victims in all of this. But I think we’re doing the best we can. I’m confident that we can figure it out. Joe is a great father to our children and that’s all that I can ask for."

A person who said he helped <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/tech" target="_blank" rel="noopener">craft the technology</a> and interpret data from advanced radiological sensors on a high-tech EPA plane used to survey the damage and take hazmat readings told The Associated Press the aircraft was enlisted too late. In turn, the whistleblower told the outlet, it may have been unnecessary to burn off toxic vinyl chloride from five rail cars in a controlled release.
The EPA's "ASPECT" single-engine turboprop based in Texas hosts what the agency calls a "suite of sensors and software" that provides vital data collection assistance in disaster areas. Those tools include an infrared line scanner, various spectrometers and a digital mapping camera, among other abilities.
Robert Kroutil told the AP the plane didn't fly over the site, near the Ohio-Pennsylvania border, until a day after the controlled release of vinyl chloride.&nbsp;

"We could tell the data provided from the ASPECT plane’s two East Palestine flights on Feb. 7 was incomplete and irregular. We had no confidence in the data. We could not trust it," said Kroutil, whose team considered the results of the flyover to be inconclusive, alleging chemical sensors were not active when the aircraft flew over now-polluted creeks in the area.
In comments to NewsNation, Kroutil called the deployment "the most unusual … I've ever seen."
In a lengthy response to a Fox News Digital inquiry, the EPA pushed back on the allegations, saying whistleblower characterizations of the ASPECT plane's response are "false," adding weather conditions prevented the plane from prompt surveying of the location.
"EPA Region 5 [in the Midwest] requested ASPECT to fly to East Palestine late in the day on February 5, 2023. As soon as the request was made, the aircraft was deployed the same day from its home base in Addison, Texas, to Pittsburgh. Due to low ceilings and icing conditions, the flight crew made the determination that the aircraft was unable to fly safely on February 6, 2023, the day of the controlled burn."

When Mother Nature cooperated the following day, ASPECT flew two missions over the location, the agency said, adding that EPA staff was already on scene "establishing a robust air monitoring network … within the community."
The EPA told Fox News Digital readings from the ground on the first two days – before the plane flew over – depicted contaminants to be below detection levels with the exception of particulates. It said Kroutil, "the contractor mentioned," was not part of the ASPECT flight crew in Ohio and that the agency does not comment on internal personnel matters relating to contractors.
Since the disaster, the agency said it has collected 28,000 air samples and that, in the time since residents were allowed back to their homes, there have not been "sustained chemicals of concern found in the air." The agency added it will continue to honor public records requests and be transparent in its response to the tragedy.

Mike DeWine's</a> office said that when it comes to whistleblowers, anyone with time-sensitive and pertinent information has been asked repeatedly to come forward, including in the immediate aftermath of the Norfolk-Southern spill.&nbsp;
"They failed to bring it forward," a spokesman for DeWine said.&nbsp;
"If there was a person who had knowledge at the time … they knew who was in charge and it was very clear who was on the ground," he said, adding that Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, and DeWine publicly made the same plea.

"We do understand there are experts who had other opinions [on the disaster response]. … Vance said no one brought [further information] forward," the spokesman added.
Requests seeking comment from Vance's office went unanswered, but the <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ohio-politicians-react-to-biden-visiting-east-palestine-after-1-year-too-little-too-late" target="_blank" rel="noopener">senator notably called</a> President Biden's visit to East Palestine one year after the derailment "pure politics" and akin to a "political stunt."

Across the nearby Pennsylvania border, waterways, air and land were similarly affected by the disaster, including in the Beaver County district of State Sen. Elder Vogel, Jr.
"It is very disheartening to hear that these alleged delays and botched response approaches took place – especially since those in East Palestine, Ohio, and areas in my district here in Pennsylvania have been dealing with the aftermath of this derailment for over a year now," Vogel told Fox News Digital regarding the whistleblower's account prior to EPA pushback.
"Earlier intervention could have made a difference following the derailment and better assisted those responding to the incident."&nbsp;
Sen. Doug Mastriano, R–Pa., of Gettysburg, held at least two hearings in Beaver County in response to the disaster, including one in March where residents sounded off about how they are still feeling long-term effects.&nbsp;
In April, Mastriano, Vogel and State Sen. Michele Brooks launched an effort to allow Pennsylvania-based victims of the disaster to claim an added tax deduction on any <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/norfolk-southern-vows-safety-changes-minor-train-derailment-virginia" target="_blank" rel="noopener">payouts from Norfolk-Southern.</a>
Fox News Digital further reached out to Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, a Democrat, who was also a public fixture in the aftermath of the disaster, but did not receive a response by press time. Calls placed to officials in the city of East Palestine for comment also went unanswered.&nbsp;

West Virginia GOP State Sen. Craig Blair, the president of the state senate who has served as a state senator since 2013 and in the legislature for years before that, lost to his primary challenger Tom Willis on Tuesday night, <a href="https://wvmetronews.com/2024/05/15/senate-president-blair-is-defeated-in-primary-as-are-incumbents-maroney-swope-and-karnes/">WV Metro News reported.</a>
Stand For Us PAC, a group that has pledged to <a href="https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4517197-gop-group-spending-1m-to-back-primary-challenges-against-incumbents-over-immigration/">put at least $1 million</a> into defeating incumbents who they deemed weak on illegal immigration, says Blair lost because of his support of subsidizing healthcare for illegal immigrants.
"It’s simple: Craig Blair caved to the far-left on illegal immigration and turned his back on the people of West Virginia...and Stand for Us PAC held him accountable," Katie Miller, Chair of Stand for Us PAC, said in a statement to Fox News Digital on Wednesday.&nbsp;

At the heart of the issue was <a href="https://legiscan.com/WV/rollcall/SB325/id/1378004">Blair’s support</a> for West Virginia Senate Bill 325 which <a href="https://dailycaller.com/2024/03/12/building-americas-future-conservative-group-launches-ad-buy-west-virginia-kentucky-oklahoma-states-subsidized-healthcare-illegals/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">critics say</a> strengthens the federal 340B federal program which would ultimately mean subsidized healthcare for illegal immigrants.
Similar legislation across the country has drawn ire from Republicans including in Virginia where Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin <a href="https://abc3340.com/news/nation-world/va-governor-pressured-to-reject-bill-that-may-subsidize-illegal-immigrant-healthcare-richmond-southern-border-money-illegals-migrants-health-hospitals-340b-constitution">vetoed the bill.</a>&nbsp;
Stand for Us PAC <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dCtcDQRx3I">ran multiple ads</a> hammering Blair on the issue arguing that Blair was "working against Trump’s America First agenda."

"It’s disappointing to me that a bill that passed the Senate with a unanimous, bipartisan vote would be so blatantly misconstrued and weaponized as it was," Blair, who is the Lt. Governor of West Virginia, told Fox News Digital in a statement on Wednesday.
"This bill has nothing, whatsoever, to do with subsidizing health care for illegal immigrants. If providing more affordable prescription drugs to West Virginians — especially our vulnerable senior citizens on a fixed income — is a ‘fireable offense,’ then I’ll proudly take that pink slip."
Miller explained in her <a href="https://standforus.com/#after-action" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">press release</a> the strategy that Stand For Us used to unseat Blair who held a plus 12 favorability rating and an 11 point lead over Willis in April.
Miller also warned in a statement that Republican incumbents should be wary of their stance on illegal immigration in light of Blair’s surprise defeat.
"Other Republicans should take notice, Miller said. "We only had a month from our first expenditure to Election Day and we were still able to oust a well-established Senate President by double-digits. That should make clear to Republicans across the country considering voting for legislation to strengthen the 340b program or allow non-citizen voting that they will not be safe no matter how powerful they are."
Miller continued, "Stand for Us isn’t going anywhere and the results of our efforts have only emboldened us to increase our initial investment so we can hold more so-called conservatives accountable for refusing to crack down on illegal immigration. Republicans are now on notice that they support 340b or non-citizen voting at their own political peril."&nbsp;

The Georgia Republican acknowledged that Hutchinson had provided his committee with documentation that she had also given the Jan. 6 panel, but said she did not produce "all records, notes, or documents prepared by you for interviews with the Select Committee or the <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/politics/justice-department" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Department of Justice</a>," which Loudermilk asked for earlier this year.
He also noted that some of the information she produced – including messages between herself and former Trump officials John Ratcliffe and Kash Patel – were not archived by the Jan. 6 committee.

Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., the former Jan. 6 committee chair, defended his panel's handling of documents.
"This letter was not addressed to me, but I can tell you that Mr. Loudermilk’s previous correspondence to me has been riddled with significant factual errors," Thompson said.&nbsp;"As I have said time and again, the Select Committee archived its official records in accordance with House rules. It seems Mr. Loudermilk is using this fishing expedition to distract from the fact that their release of security camera footage is completely failing to provide any evidence to support extreme MAGA Republican conspiracies about Jan. 6 – and is only bolstering the work we did in investigating the circumstances surrounding that terrible day."
