But the idea is to strive to achieve them.

  56. <title>Italy 2009</title>
  57. <description>
  58. In 2009 myself and my best friend from school decided to visit Italy on a Shearings coach trip. Now you would have thought I would have learned my lesson. The last time I booked a holiday with Shearings, the dates were changed twice and we ended up going on a different holiday to the one intended. But surely this could not happen again! Oh foolish me!! Having paid for a holiday to commence on 28th July 2009, we received a '...we regret to advise you that due to low bookings...' letter canceling our holiday and offering us the same itinerary but on 11th August. Not wanting to miss out on our holiday, the new date was accepted.

  67. <title>Warrior Interviews</title>
  68. <description>
  69. I am looking to undertake a number of interviews with warriors, old and young alike. As I have now become an almost permanent Island dweller, the easiest way is via this forum and email. The object is to publish all interviews, with records held for posterity on publically accessible scrolls. I have published a series of questions below. If you have the time and inclination, then answer the questions - in character please rather than OOC - and email the responses to me at bremerial@gmail.com
  70.
  71. 1. It does not matter whether you are 10 or 100 - The only criteria is that you are of the warrior profession.
  72. 2. The inclusion of your name is essential but you do not need to include your level if you do not wish.
  73. 3. You are not compelled to answer all questions. They have been provided to give all the interviews a similar form and as an aide memoire to those who might want to participate but whould not know what to say.
  74. 4. The interviews will be published on a family friendly site. In game dislikes - e.g. expressed dwarven and elven emnity - will be acceptable. However I won't publish anything that goes against the spirit of my general site. Hate, racism, promoting illegality etc etc - you know the stuff. This is intended to be fun, but hopefully will be useful to look back upon 10 years from now...or more.

  95. <title>Bremerial Family History</title>
  96. <description>
  97. I have always been proud of my clan. It is as a pride instilled in me by my father and in him, by his father before him. Although for three generations my family have not lived in Gezunel, our bonds to our clan hold firm, unified though ancestry and bonded through kinship. My grandfather (that is to say my father\x92s father Grenak Hazorin) would tell me stories as a child of battles with orcs beneath the mountains of Dragonspine, before Gezunel ever came into being. This was in the time known as the second age,  a time long after the fading of the influence of the Akarti.

  106. In order to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary, I booked a holiday for them and myself to New York. This was an opportunity to show them the sights and sounds of one of the most exciting cities in the world. The only drawback was that we had to squeeze as much as possible within 5 days - 4 full days and two half days to be precise...

  147. <description>
  148. I am conscious of the fact that I have not provided an update of the situation regarding my sister. So I thought I would take the opportunity to do so now. Rose's condition is dire! Her multiple-sclerosis was progressive and has resulted in her being bed bound. She has small movement of her head and minor movement of her arms. However she is unable to move any other part of her body. She is to all intents and purposes, a quadriplegic.

  157. <title>1/2 marathon training</title>
  158. <description>
  159. I have been running half marathons for a while now, with limited success. The trouble is that I just do not have the dedication to do all the training needed. I find excuses not to run and use those excuses to explain poor performance. To add insult to injury, this year I was injured one week before a half marathon, having actually undertaken some decent training. I had decided to give up, but having seen my weight increase from 10 stone 7 to 11 stone 2 over the last 6 months I have decided to give it one last try.

However, at last I have had the opportunity to have my latest character come to life in graphical form. My dwarven warrior, Bremerial, has now been transformed from text to graphic. The graphics were created by Designsbyeve.com and are quite simply fantastic.

  177. <title>Facebook replaces onsite blog</title>
  178. <description>
  179. I have made a decision to use facebook as my online blogger instead of using the pages of this site. There are a number of reasons for this decision. The first is that it is much quicker to upload information to that site. The second is that the site has a greater degree of interactivity allowing others to comment on entries with greater ease. The third is that I simply have not had the time to update the onsite blog. Hopefully this will prove a useful method of communication. Welcome to the 21st century at long last. It's been a long time coming! The blog address is http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1075627571

  188. <description>
  189. I have included some scripts for the gemstone IV game. These are use in conjunction with the stormfront interface. They are actually extremely basic for the most park but should nevertheless prove of some use. Anyone wishing to ask any questions regarding the scripts can do so by contacting me through the site email address. It should be noted that I do not write scripts for other people. I can barely write them for myself after all.
