There’s no hiding from the spirit of Jezebel.
In a word for the month of May, <a href="https://mycharisma.com/spiritled-living/the-two-keys-for-spiritual-success-in-2024/" title="">prophetic voice Tomi Arayomi </a>gave a warning for this month that we need to be on the lookout for the spirit of Jezebel. Further, he says this is the moment to keep our eyes on Christ.

He states: “There is a hijacking in the realm of the spirit. and the spirit of Jezebel has been unleashed.”
Arayomi states that the biggest issue with this <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVdxZpSivTg" title="">unleashing of the Jezebel spirit</a> is that it has the ability to mimic the Holy Spirit and deceive people away from the authentic truth of God’s Word and lead them toward the counterfeit.
“This is a mayday hour, and the body of Christ needs the gift of discernment now more than ever,” Arayomi says.
Discernment is needed more than ever because if we do not use it, we will be led astray, further and further away from the Word of God.
“The enemy is working hard through preachers and pastors and leaders unfortunately to tear down one another,” Arayomi says.

This is where the Jezebel spirit comes into play. It is Jezebel’s mission to keep the body of Christ confused, unsure of what is of God and what is not.
“Jezebel will accuse others of being Jezebel and you will not know the difference because both will be dressed in the same disguise,” Arayomi says.
He likens Jezebel’s presentation to when Jacob dressed up as Esau to trick Isaac and <a href="https://www.charismanews.com/culture/tomi-arayomi-s-9-year-prophecy-israel-and-what-s-coming-for-america/" title="">gain the family blessing.</a> He says this is a time when enemies and provokers will rise, above all else, to drive the righteous to their knees in prayer.
“The Spirit of God says, ‘How else can I call you to a deeper level of intercession if I don’t raise up your messengers of Satan and your thorns in your flesh?'”

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Following the bombshell announcement that <a href="https://mycharisma.com/israeljewishroots/standing-with-israel/the-unspoken-cost-of-palestine-will-be-free/" title="">Hamas agreed to a hostage deal</a> on Monday evening, Israeli officials strongly denied that Hamas had agreed to a proposal that had been approved by Israel.
“We gave the Egyptian and Qatari mediators our agreement to their proposal for a ceasefire,” a senior Hamas source told the Qatari news channel Al Jazeera, which was <a target="_blank" href="https://allisrael.com/israeli-government-votes-to-halt-qatar-funded-al-jazeera-broadcasts-in-israel-for-incitement" rel="noreferrer noopener">barred in Israel yesterday</a>.
In an additional statement, the terror group announced: “The head of the politburo, Ismail Haniyeh, called the Prime Minister of Qatar and the head of Egyptian intelligence, and informed them that the organization agrees to their <a target="_blank" href="https://allisrael.com/hostage-deal-talks-close-to-breaking-down-cia-director-travels-to-qatar-in-last-ditch-effort-to-save-negotiations" rel="noreferrer noopener">proposal regarding a ceasefire</a>.”
Government officials briefed several Israeli media outlets that Hamas had not agreed to terms that were approved by Israel, indicating that the mediators might have sent Hamas a proposal without prior Israeli consent.

The Saudi channel Al-Arabiya in the evening quoted a Hamas source saying that the proposal included a permanent ceasefire and a complete lifting of the blockade of the Gaza Strip, which would necessitate a full withdrawal of Israeli troops.
Israel has maintained that it <a href="https://allisrael.com/israel-insists-end-to-the-war-not-part-of-hostage-deal-as-hamas-is-set-to-accept" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">wouldn’t agree to stop the war</a> in exchange for any hostage deal. Al-Arabiya also reported that the proposal Hamas agreed to was amended by the terror group with the U.S. guaranteeing Israel would accept the changes.
Senior Hamas official Khalil al-Hayya later told Al Jazeera the terms of the deal that Hamas agreed to include three stages, each stipulating 42 days of ceasefire.
During the second stage of the deal, Israel is to announce a permanent ceasefire, meaning an end to the war. He claimed that the mediators assured Hamas that the U.S. would guarantee Israel’s acceptance of the deal.
According to Politico’s White House correspondent, however, the U.S. hadn’t approved the proposal before it was sent to Hamas. American officials reacted cautiously to Hamas’ claims, only saying the U.S. was studying the issue together with its allies.
Israeli officials denied Hamas’ announcement would be taken seriously, adding that Israel was studying the group’s official response which was transmitted on Monday before deciding how to react.

<a href="https://charismanews.com/opinion/standing-with-israel/you-re-fired-prophet-and-you-know-why/" title="">In response to Hamas’ surprise announcement,</a> Israeli officials sent out strongly worded statements telling media outlets that the terror group was trying to deceive the public by agreeing to a proposal that had been explicitly rejected by Israel.
Channel 13 reported that inside the Israeli government, the prevailing assessment was that the announcement was an attempt to postpone the <a target="_blank" href="https://allisrael.com/idf-calls-on-rafah-residents-to-evacuate-towards-humanitarian-area-in-al-mawasi" rel="noreferrer noopener">Israeli operation in Rafah</a>, the terror group’s last major stronghold in the Gaza Strip.
Security officials stressed that the preparations for the military operation in Rafah continued as planned and there were no changes, according to Army Radio.
This was affirmed by the IDF’s Spokesman Brig. Gen. Daniel Hagari in a briefing on Monday evening.
“During the day, the Air Force attacked over 50 terror targets in the Rafah area, we are preparing for a ground incursion in the area,” Hagari stated.
A short time earlier, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant’s office had issued a statement saying he met with IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi and the head of the IDF Operations Directorate, Maj. Gen. Oded Basiuk.
They discussed “the IDF’s expected operational plans in the Gaza Strip, with an emphasis on the Rafah area,” according to the statement.

Is there a dark, spiritual force behind the pro-Hamas protests we’ve been seeing?
In his latest prophetic message, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn unveils the dark forces propelling the anti-Israel protests across college campuses today.

Cahn continues to assert that what we are seeing is not the same type of protests that took place back in the 1960s. Instead, these <a href="https://mycharisma.com/culture/cahn-addresses-mental-wellness-amid-macarthur-backlash/" title="">protests are calling</a> for the annihilation of an entire group of people.
“This is not normal, and it’s not natural,” Cahn says. “The Bible says, ‘<a href="https://www.charismanews.com/culture/jonathan-cahn-experiences-major-spiritual-warfare/" title="">woe to you who call evil good</a> and good evil.’ And the truth is, it’s not just that the colleges have allowed this…the truth is, they’re behind it because they set it in motion because this is the gospel of wokeness.”
Cahn further explains how the spiritual significance of the protests relate to Revelation 16:13-14 which reads:

Then I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, who go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

“Who is the dragon? The enemy. Who is the beast? The Antichrist. The spirits that come out of them go out to the leaders of the earth. They cause the world to come to Armageddon to come against the tiny nation of Israel,” Cahn says.  
Cahn says these are demonic spirits that want to take down Israel and stop the coming of the Messiah. He says because America is Israel’s closest ally, it is significant to see the widespread pro-Hamas, anti-Israel agenda unfolding in our nation. As Scripture says that all nations will come against Israel, Cahn believes America is fulfilling that prophetic, end times truth.
Just as antisemitism was spread on college campuses before World War II, there was an influential “Grand Mufti” of Jerusalem who worked alongside to make it his mission to see the end of the Jewish people.
“Through the Mufti, the demonic antisemitism of Nazism merged with Arab nationalism and radical Islamic theology,” Cahn says. “He has been called ‘the father of Palestinian nationalism.’ He was central in birthing the Palestinian movement against Israel.”

Actress Angela Kinsey, who played uptight cat-lady Angela Martin on the show, recently revealed<a href="https://mycharisma.com/spiritled-living/church-ministry/the-church-needs-conviction-not-candy/" title=""> a joke she objected to regarding the light in which it cast Christians.</a>
Discussing her time on the show, Kinsey recounted this story to fellow “The Office” star Rainn Wilson, who played the unparalleled Dwight Schrute, when he asked her about her faith in God.

Coming from a Christian background, and having a mother who still teaches a weekly Bible study, Kinsey fits the role of Angela perfectly, especially when a joke was written that she didn’t feel lived up to the reality of how a Christian would speak to a gay person like the script called for. 
Kinsey shared about the interaction that was supposed to take place between her and Oscar, a gay man who worked at the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company alongside her character.
“Yeah, actually, there were one or two times in which there would be a joke written for her that I thought was just really stereotypical, maybe one note. I like to think of her as a full, well-rounded person,” Kinsey explains.
“I do remember there was a particular storyline between Angela and Oscar, where Angela was being super judgy. I never went up to Greg about any joke, but there was a joke at Oscar’s expense, and I went up to Greg [Daniels], and I was like, ‘I can’t.’

“I just was like, ‘I don’t feel good about it. <a href="https://www.charismanews.com/opinion/the-flaming-herald/the-convictions-and-conduct-of-christians-matter/" title="">I don’t feel like that’s what Jesus represented to me,'”</a> she adds. “And he was like, ‘OK.’ And he heard me, and he took the joke out.”
These seeds of faith were planted by her mother, whom she explained would read the Bible to her growing up as well as family prayers said together. And when the fruit of those seeds appeared, it took the shape of conviction that recognized when something crossed over from a joke into an insult of Jesus Christ.
It is through small acts of faith like the one displayed by Angela that Christians are able to make a massive difference in culture. When we are quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to wrath (James 1:19-20), we allow God to move in ways and accomplish tasks we would never be able to accomplish on our own.

Pastor Glenn Germany had fractions of a second to react as the man, identified as 26-year-old Bernard Junior Polite, casually strolled up to the front altar of the Jesus Dwelling Place Church, smiled at the pastor and raised a silver pistol mere feet from Germany with a clear line of fire.

Yet when Polite pulled the trigger, what can only be described as divine intervention filled the church, as the weapon jammed and Germany’s life was spared.
“I’m thankful to God that I’m still here, because he definitely pulled the trigger,” Pastor Germany says.
“I was like, this is not happening,” he added. “I thank God because only God stopped and jammed this gun.”

According to a statement released by police, “Polite pointed a firearm at the pastor, attempted to shoot, but the firearm failed to discharge,” the statement reads. “A congregation member took immediate action by grabbing onto Polite. The member and the pastor were able to subdue and disarm Polite. Polite was held until troopers arrived.”
The congregation member, Deacon Clarence McCallister, did not hesitate in the face of danger and personal risk. He is seen in the video of the event leaping to his feet and charging Polite, tackling him to the ground.
“There’s something that needs to be done and I jumped up and handled my business,” McCallister says.
While Pastor Germany and McCallister subdued Polite until the police arrived, Germany was able to speak with him and tried to make some sense of what took place.
“This guy was just dealing with spirits he said, and he came in and wanted to shoot somebody,” Germany recalls.

The pair even appear to have reconciled as Polite has allegedly apologized to Germany who in turn forgave him for his actions.
Sadly, there appears to be a victim from Polite’s recent breakdown, as the body of 56-year-old Derek Polite was found at the residence of Bernard Polite, as police continue to investigate the matter.
As incidents of pastors being attacked, and in some cases killed, have increased in frequency recently, the church needs to assume its mantle of responsibility and<a href="https://www.charismanews.com/news/nicaraguan-pastors-facing-80m-fines-imprisoned-after-huge-revival/" title=""> keep these leaders prayed up.</a>
While pastors are responsible for the spiritual well-being of their congregations, the people under their authority must do their part and pray for the Lord’s continued protection and guidance over them and their families. As the leaders of the church, Satan has them marked for spiritual attack and will stop at nothing in his quest to silence the gospel of Jesus Christ.

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Massive water baptisms are becoming a marker of how God is moving mightily among churches across the country. Grace Family Church in Tampa, Florida is the latest example as nearly 1,000 men, women and children were baptized at Fort De Soto Beach recently.
It all began on Easter Sunday when the church decided to do something a little bit different to celebrate Christ’s resurrection. 
“We didn’t want a traditional Easter service. We wanted something where we could invite Tampa Bay to be a part of the biggest church service people had ever seen,” Daryl Black, Associate Pastor of Grace Family Church, told K-Love.

“We didn’t know what to expect,” he added. “We were praying for God to have a <a href="https://www.charismanews.com/culture/police-shut-down-jenny-weaver-and-mike-signorelli-baptisms/" title="">really big move</a>.”
The church had invited more than 30,000 people to Raymond J Stadium where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play and the place was packed. 
“It was amazing to see it happen and be a part of that experience,” Black described.
Legendary former NFL coach Tony Dungy shared a message with the crowd. 
“My mom was a Sunday school teacher, so I heard the word about Jesus.<a href="https://mycharisma.com/spiritled-living/jenny-weaver-plans-massive-baptism-of-nearly-2000-after-200-accept-christ/" title=""> I accepted Christ into my life, </a>but I was just living to be an athlete and a student,” he shared.

“I got to the Steelers. I was 21 years old and there were about 15 guys on the team that said, ‘You can’t just do it this way. You can’t just have a uniform and be on the sidelines. You got to get in the game. You got to play. You got to put God first in your life all the time.’ And that’s when I kind of changed my life around,” Dungy continued. 
The church’s lead pastor, Craig Altman, also shared about the true meaning of Easter. 
“The greatest comeback was Jesus Christ was crucified and buried and for three days he was dead. They thought all hope was lost, but then God resurrected him from the dead. And that’s symbolic for us, that God can raise us up into a new life and brings a lot of hope,” Altman told local media outlet Fox News 13.

When I was growing up, I was convinced that I believed in a shared set of <a href="https://www.charismanews.com/news/signs-of-the-times-war-famine-pestilences-and-natural-disasters/" title="">national values </a>that most other Americans also embraced. But in our day and age, those values have been discarded and now people that see the world the way that I do are clearly not in the majority any longer. 
I know that a lot of people out there may not want to hear that our national values have been turned upside down, but it is the truth. Those that sought to “fundamentally transform” this country have succeeded, and at this point “American values” are vastly different from the American values that I cherished as a young boy. 
The following are seven numbers that clearly reveal the direction that America has chosen…
#1 There is more political chaos in our nation than there has ever been in my entire lifetime, and more than 40 percent of U.S. voters actually believe that a “second civil war” is likely within the next five years…

More than four-in-ten US voters say the country is likely to get ripped apart in a second civil war within five years, a shocking new survey reveals.
The Rasmussen Reports poll shows that 41 percent eye a civil conflict, compared to 49 percent who say it’s not likely. Another 10 percent said they were not sure.
That amounts to 106 million US adults saying civil war is on the horizon.
The survey comes against a backdrop of mounting violence on US college campuses, where pro-Palestine protestors clash with law enforcers, conservatives, some Jewish students and others.

After narrowly backing Israel’s military action in Gaza in November, Americans now oppose the campaign by a solid margin. Fifty-five percent currently disapprove of Israel’s actions, while 36% approve.
The latest results are from a March 1-20 survey. The Israel-Hamas war has continued for five months and has resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of Palestinians and over 1,000 Israelis. Major parts of Gaza have been destroyed, complicating efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians still living there. The United Nations and international community, including the Biden administration, have called for a cease-fire, but the two warring sides have been unable to agree.

#3 Sixty five percent of Americans do not approve of the Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v. Wade…

About two-thirds (65%) oppose the 2022 Supreme Court decision, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, and 34% approve, numbers that have remained effectively unchanged in CNN’s polling across the nearly two years since the ruling. Those who strongly disapprove of the decision continue to outnumber those who strongly approve by a more than 2-to-1 margin.
A 69% majority who disapprove of overturning Roe, including 82% of those who strongly disapprove, say that federal politicians should work to pass laws ensuring national abortion access. Those who support the ruling largely say federal politicians shouldn’t take action on the issue: 59% say laws on abortion should be left up to the states, with 29% in favor of further restrictions to abortion access nationwide. New national restrictions are supported by just about one-quarter of Republicans, White Evangelical Christians and those who describe themselves as conservative.

#4 More than 20 percent of Generation Z adults (22.3 percent to be specific) now identify as LGBTQ+…

Overall, each younger generation is about twice as likely as the generation that preceded it to identify as LGBTQ+. More than one in five Gen Z adults, ranging in age from 18 to 26 in 2023, identify as LGBTQ+, as do nearly one in 10 millennials (aged 27 to 42). The percentage drops to less than 5% of Generation X, 2% of baby boomers and 1% of the Silent Generation.
Bisexuality is the most common LGBTQ+ status among Generation Z, millennials and Generation X. Fifteen percent of all Generation Z adults—representing more than two-thirds of those with an LGBTQ+ identification—are bisexual.

The Pentagon has spent more than $26 million treating transgender troops since 2020, official records show.
The number of US army staff with gender dysphoria has doubled in that time—from around 1,800 to 3,700, according to DoD data seen by DailyMail.com.
In the past three years, $17.5m in taxpayer money was spent on psychotherapy for trans service people and $1.5m went towards hormone drugs.
A further $7.6m funded gender-affirming surgeries, including facial tweaks to make a recruit more masculine or feminine, and the removal or creation of breasts and genitals.

The United Methodist Church, one of the largest Protestant denominations in the U.S., has voted to repeal its ban on LGBTQ clergy as well as prohibitions on its ministers from officiating at same-sex weddings.
Delegates overwhelmingly approved the changes, 692 to 51, during the United Methodist Church’s General Conference.
The meeting is taking place this week in Charlotte, N.C. after the pandemic delayed the 2020 General Conference where these decisions had been slated to take place.

#7 Only 3.6 million babies were born in the U.S. last year, and the birth rate is now at the lowest level ever recorded…
<blockquote class="wp-block-quote">
The birth rate in the US has declined to a new low, according to data published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The figures show that fewer than 3.6 million babies were born in the US last year, the lowest amount since 1979 and equating to the lowest fertility rate EVER recorded.
The CDC analysed the 2023 data and found that the birth rate is down 2 percent on the previous year.

If you go back to 1960, the average U.S. woman gave birth to 3.65 children during her lifetime. Today, that number has fallen all the way down to 1.6.
But we need a birth rate of at least 2.1 just to keep replacing ourselves. If we didn’t have so much immigration going on, our population would be steadily falling.

Given enough time, those that are willing to multiply would become increasingly powerful and those that are not willing to multiply would become less powerful.
But the fact that we aren’t reproducing ourselves is just one of the existential problems that we are facing.
At this point we live in an upside down society that has rejected the values that this nation was founded upon. If we stay on this path, there isn’t going to be a future for America, and that is the truth.

On a recent episode of Boardroom Chat, televangelist Jesse Duplantis, alongside his wife Cathy, addressed the issue of poverty and the absence of prosperity in one’s life, calling it a “curse” and the result of disobedience.

Over the last 40 years the Lord has carried me through countless storms where it appeared by all outward circumstances that I was going under. Fear would try to overtake me, along with doubt, and apprehension, but I always knew He was there, and I could trust Him.
Some days it’s that you’re just tired and worn out, but the <a href="https://mycharisma.com/spiritled-living/the-supernatural-love-story-of-joni-lamb-and-doug-weiss/" title="">Lord will be faithful</a> to give us strength when we are weak. I’ve also witnessed how the Lord has delivered and empowered so many of the incredible men and women of God I’ve been honored to get to know over my years of ministry.

Yet, it hasn’t always been easy. I mean, who starts a Christian TV station with no money in a place like Montgomery? How do you raise a family? I mean honestly, it had better be God because otherwise it would be crazy.

 I have known the Spirit as powerful, demonstrative and full of manifestations and power, but I have also known a beautiful deep secrecy within the silence.
This morning as I was sitting before the Lord before the livestream of our service, the thought of holy silence with the Lord overwhelmed me. I felt as though I did not want to talk but just be in His presence. In the beauty of the silence, so many deep revelations are revealed.

The Bible teaches, “Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction” (Gal.6:8, NIV). The United States of America is in decline, not just culturally but politically and in numerous other areas because we’ve compromised biblical commands. We’re now realizing we’ve sown the wind and are reaping the whirlwind (see Hos. 8:7).
Take 10 to survey six areas reaping havoc on our society. Yet it’s not too late to “turn from our wicked ways“ (see 2 Chron. 7:14) and believe God for a third Great Awakening before it’s too late. The 2024 election gives us a chance to move forward while we pray, fervently and proclaim unwaveringly the gospel and a biblical worldview. Watch!

It’s no secret that evil is raging against the human race. Not everything that happens on earth is a result of God’s divine decree. Sickness, death, tragedy and poverty are not part of His eternal plan. Our heavenly Father is good and desires to do only good. Not only is there no evil in Him, but He is at war with all evil.

Jesus, the Son of God, stepped into our realm to reveal His Father’s perfect will. He healed the sick, drove out demons, calmed the storms, fed the hungry, raised the dead and more. He was doing God’s will. Therefore, we should not be passive spectators of this war, for He has enlisted us into His army as active participants.
Sadly, many Christians today have embraced a vacation-based worldview in this time of battle. But those engaged in the battle understand the following truism: “it’s better to be a warrior in the garden than a gardener in war.”

God prepares you for public victories by taking you through private battles. Before God publicly used David to kill Goliath, He led him to face a lion and a bear in private (see 1 Sam. 17:34-37).
I suspect David was not overly fond of facing lions. I can imagine thoughts such as “Why am I being attacked?” and “Where is God in all of this?” must have crossed his mind. When David experienced an attack from a lion and saw his sheep disappear, he could have succumbed to defeat and self-pity. He had to make a decision not to live in regret because of his failure—losing a sheep—and instead choose to get up and fight to regain what the lion had stolen. David did not realize his private battles with lions and bears would one day give him the courage and determination to publicly confront the Philistine giant Goliath.

A high school principal and several staff members are out of a job following a drag queen’s provocative prom performance.
As American Faith reported, Atrisco Heritage Academy High School in New Mexico had a drag queen come to perform at the senior class prom. The drag queen, Mythica Sahreen, wore a scanty outfit and heels, and danced with a couple of students, twerking on them.
“Could have kept it more on the side of like it being more PG with the fact that they kind of did twerk on a couple students,” one student said. “It wasn’t exactly the best, but it was something that did happen. And they did let students twerk on them.”

The spiritual warfare taking place in our nation’s capital is at a fevered pitch.
Recently, <a href="https://mycharisma.com/propheticrevival/dutch-sheets-2024-prophetic-word-the-year-of-the-dragon-the-bear-and-the-lion/">author Dutch Sheets shared a prophetic dream</a> that his brother, Tim Sheets, had concerning the uprooting of Baal’s roots that have taken hold of the White House.
In the dream, Sheets saw a massive angel, a soldier he explains, carrying a battering ram toward the White House grounds and asks the angel what he and the other three angels surrounding the building were doing.

Why aren’t more people talking about this? 
A white horse that was covered in red blood up to the bridle just went on a rampage through the streets of one of the most important cities on the entire planet, <a href="https://mycharisma.com/propheticrevival/is-this-new-technology-part-of-end-times-prophecy/">and almost everyone is ignoring it.</a> It was accompanied by a black horse that had also gotten loose. 
The two horses actually rampaged through the streets of London for six miles before authorities were able to catch them. Along the way, the horses <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13347535/Moment-Household-Cavalry-horses-spooked-separate-incident-runaway.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">rammed into a tour bus and a taxi</a>.
