Most people want to better their situation in life and take steps toward making that vision a reality. They desire a better future for themselves and their children. That’s something all parents want for their children. Anyone who doesn't want to provide or at least try to do so for their kids isn’t much of a parent.
One of those people hoping to change his lot in life and make a better life for his children is Odell Bunton Jr. In a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSZlsmblscE">clip posted on YouTube</a>, Odell reveals that he and his wife are the proud parents of five little bundles of joy. To provide for them, he works security during the overnight shift at the Dallas airport.
But Odell and his family live in a hotel, and he wants more. He sees music as a way to do that for him and his family. After his stunning audition on American Idol, Odell may be right!
Moments after singing the first few words of the iconic song, it’s clear that Odell has a ton of musical, God-given talent. Given the expressions from Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan during his audition, they also agree.
All the judges gave the father of five plenty of comments and compliments on his audition. However, Katy gave him the highest, kindest compliment.
“I would say that you’re the best soul singer we have this season,” Katy said. 
Lionel and Luke agree with Katy’s assessment. Luke said that he even got chills while listening to Odell.
Odell is on his way to Hollywood and is one big step closer to giving his family the better life he desires for them.

For film lovers, the 1980s is a treasure trove of classic films. “The Breakfast Club,” “Dead Poets Society,” “Ghostbusters,” “Dirty Dancing” and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” are just a few of the films released in the 1980s. Many of the movies from that decade are still widely watched and can be seen on a handful of streaming services. 
Since their release nearly 40 years ago, many of those films are now picking up new fans and being watched by new generations of movie lovers. One of those movies that seems to have experienced a resurgence in popularity is “Footloose” starring Kevin Bacon. 
The 1984 film is about a young man who recently moved to a small town where the community has outlawed and banned dancing and rock and roll music. Instead of adhering to the rules, Kevin Bacon’s character does things his way, sending shockwaves throughout the small town. 
However, the high school featured in the film in Payson, Utah, is set to shut down, with the students set to be moved to a new building next school year. But before the “Footloose” school is closed for good, students organized a campaign, pushing for Kevin Bacon to come to their prom.
In a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnlwRZ4-Y5o">clip posted on YouTube</a>, the students of Payson High School were joined by none other than Kevin Bacon himself. They finally got the opportunity they had been waiting for and asked Kevin to attend their prom. 
Without hesitation, Kevin kindly agreed and accepted their gracious invitation. Pandemonium broke out as the student could not believe their campaign had worked.

Life is precious and must be protected, cherished and cared for in every possible way. It’s the most fragile and precious gift on earth. No one knows how long they have been given on earth. Nobody knows what the future holds. We aren’t promised tomorrow or even the next hour or minute.  
Likely, everyone believes they have much more time than they actually have left. That’s why being grateful for the time the Lord has given you is so important. It’s important to savor and cherish time with family and friends because you never know when it could be the last. 
In a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-Zu8fZ5qco">clip posted on YouTube</a>, the kind judge, with tears in his eyes, reminds us that no one knows what the future holds. All we have is the present moment, and we should cherish every second we have been given. 
Frank correctly mentions that we all take things in life for granted. We often take our health, family, friends and jobs for granted, believing they will always be there. We aren’t nearly as thankful or grateful for them as we should be until we no longer have them.
“I don’t know what the future holds,” he says with tears. “I don’t know. So, I tell you, enjoy every minute of your life.”
In late 2023, Frank revealed that he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, <a href="https://people.com/tv-judge-frank-caprio-reveals-pancreatic-cancer-diagnosis-8414087">according to People</a>. 
Since he revealed his cancer diagnosis, Frank has posted several videos on YouTube of him reflecting on his life and reminding people to love and care for one another. 
Instead of asking the Lord to do this or that the next time in prayer, spend some extra time thanking Him for what He has given and has done in your life.

Weddings are beautiful and often emotional events. Witnessing two people in love vowing to stay together through the good and the bad is one of the best sights imaginable. As such, plenty of hugs and tears are usually shed during a typical wedding ceremony. 
Nearly every part of a wedding ceremony is an opportunity to become emotional because everything takes on an added significance. It’s a chance to make beautiful, lifelong memories and to show others how much they mean to you. 
In a <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@hollyhatchx/video/7343713105794321696">clip posted on social media</a>, a woman about to walk down the aisle and say, “I do,” was momentarily interrupted. But the slight hitch was for what is likely the sweetest and most touching reason possible. 
The bride was about to head down the aisle, being escorted by her father, when he let go of her hand. No, he wasn’t refusing to walk her to meet her future husband, but he and the bride wanted to include someone else in the special, once-in-a-lifetime moment.
The person the father went and retrieved was the bride’s stepfather. The two men then walked the beautiful bride down together.
The bride and her father were the only two people who knew what they had in mind. The bride writes in the video’s caption that everyone else was left in the dark. 
Family relationships and feelings can be challenging to maneuver, especially regarding weddings. For the bride’s father to allow her stepfather to help him walk his daughter down the aisle says a lot about him. Most people would not have been as gracious and willing to add someone else to the mix when it comes to that moment.
The text in the video states that having her father and her stepfather walk her down the aisle will be a moment the bride will cherish forever.

The 78-year old is known for his roles in movies such as Father of the Bride, Three Amigos, and Cheaper By the Dozen. He is also one of the stars along with Martin Short and Selena Gomez, of the current television series, Only Murders in the Building. He has made us laugh over the years and is one of the most well-known actors of his generation. 
You know Steve from his movies and comedy shows but he has also been <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Martin">playing the banjo</a> since he was 17 years old. He has included the banjo and music in his comedy routines over the years and his first solo album, “The Crow: New Songs for the 5-String Banjo” received a Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album in 2010. 
Many in the comments love his banjo playing. As one commenter <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C2ONv2ypfnE/">says</a>, “Me: I don't like banjo music. Steve Martin: You do now. Life is often not a fair experience. No one will get through this life without knowing the feeling of pain and hurt. There will be instances that leave their mark, leaving us battered and bruised. However, some people seem to encounter and confront more than their fair share of hardships and trials. 
But, despite those trying situations and circumstances, quitting is not an option. In fact, those difficulties can be used for good, making us stronger and propelling us on to bigger and better things. 
Mia Armstrong is an excellent example of this idea. The teenage actor, author and activist with Down syndrome has not let anything hold her back. 
With humor and grace, Mia explains in an <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsZ2TlX-nyA">interview on CBS Mornings</a> that she believes Down syndrome is her superpower. She also talked about her book, “I am a Masterpiece.”
Mia adds that she wants people to be kind to one another, whether they have a disability or not. 
However, Mia understands that even when people say mean or hurtful things to her, she tries to give them grace and be patient with them because people will sometimes “forget their manners.”
Mia is a lovely, inspiring young woman with a beautiful heart and outlook. It’s clear that Mia also has a wonderful, loving mother. Mia’s mom joined her daughter during the interview segment and called the opportunity to raise a child with Down syndrome a “privilege.”
“It is a privilege to raise a child with Down syndrome,” she said. “Mia has taught our family so much about patience and persistence.”
She also told Mia that she is inspired every day by her because she never gives up, no matter the situation or circumstance. 
Mia is an inspiring young woman who has accomplished so much in her young life. Who knows what she will do next?

The song ‘Lay Me Down’ is a song penned like the words found in the Psalms that reflect on our own morality and how we will be at peace once we meet our heavenly father face to face. 
The song is told from the point of view of how rough and unfair the world is and how we don’t truly find peace until we are laid to rest. “When they lay me down someday, my soul will rise, then fly away. 
This old world will turn around. I’ll be at peace when they lay me down. This life isn’t fair, it seems. It’s filled with tears and broken dreams. There are no tears where I am bound, and I’ll be at peace when they lay me down,” is how the lyrics of the song goes. 
But what captures it so beautifully are the voices of Emmy Russell and Lukas Nelson. 
Lukas sounds so much like his grandfather Willie, and Emma exudes the spirit of her grandmother. Together the pair delivered a beautiful rendition their families would be proud of. 
Sadly, Lorretta Lynn passed away just a few weeks ago, and this performance is a stunning tribute to the “Coal Miner’s Daughter.” The torch has been passed on from one generation to the next of these musical families, and they honored the late and great Lorretta Lynn, who loved Christ more than life itself. The performance will absolutely bring tears to your eyes and call to the depths of your spirit that yearns to be with Jesus.

That’s why picking on and ridiculing someone is never helpful. Such cruel and hateful treatment will only serve to make things dramatically worse. 
As everyone knows, kids can be some of the cruelest and cold-hearted people, especially to one another. So, when one mother found out that her daughter had been treating a classmate of hers in a less-than-optimal manner, she punished her daughter in a pretty incredible and moving way.

The short, 40-second video begins with the mother and her daughter walking through the aisles at Target.
Text in the video explains what viewers are seeing as they watch the short clip.
“POV (Point of View): Your child decided to be a follower and bully another kid today knowing you hate bullies! This is how we apologize in our house hold,” the text reads.
Next, the video cuts to a basketful of items. There is also a card in which the child wrote a message apologizing to the other young lady for her actions.
The note inside the card reads: “Im sorry for being mean to you and talking about your hair, you are a wonderful friend to me, so I apologize for that.”
The mother, who posted the video on social media, wrote how she always tells her children that they never know what someone else is enduring and what they are experiencing.
Children can be cruel to one another, teasing and making fun of others for something they have no control over. However, it appears that this mother is doing things the right way. She is trying to teach her children to be empathetic and to show kindness and compassion for others.

The world is a broken place filled with lost, hurting and struggling people. Ever since sin entered the world in the Garden of Eden, it has done nothing but cause death and destruction. Sin and its repercussions have ruined lives and torn apart families. 
Everyone is a sinner. The Bible states that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. However, even while we were still in our sin, God still loved us. He even sent his one and only Son to earth to die on the cross, taking our place and all our sins and shame on Himself. 
That’s how much God loves and still loves sinners and those who have willfully turned away from Him. While God cannot and will not bless and approve sin, He still loves sinners. He constantly reaches out and chases after them. It was that message of God’s enduring love that Lauren shared with a group of female inmates.
In a <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C4vQKn0ruRI/">clip posted on social media</a>, Lauren visited and played for a group of inmates. She also states in the short clip that, surprisingly, one of her favorite places to visit is prison. 
The video shows Lauren putting on a concert for the women. The beautifully written lyrics about God’s unfailing love, mercy and grace moved some women to tears.
But the most powerful moment of the clip happens when Lauren, holding a Bible, tells the women that God still loves them. Yes, God wants all to turn from their sinful ways, but God’s love never ends or fails.
“God yearns for you,” Lauren says. “He yearns for all of us. How amazing is that? ‘God, I see what I’ve done wrong. I definitely turned away from you. I didn’t want anything to do with you. And He says, ‘Don’t worry, that didn’t stop me from loving you.’
Lauren ends her message by telling the inmates that they can have hope and no longer live in sin because of God's grace and enduring love.
“There is hope for your future,” she said. “There is.”

The sweet children give the proud parents in the audience a cute show, but it’s clear that one child is feeling the music a little more than everyone else.
While standing in the middle of the stage, the young man dances like no one is watching. His moves are so confident and fluid and appear far beyond his young age. He switches effortlessly from one move to another, showing off his impressive skill. 
Many in the audience are heard hooting and hollering at the unexpected but thoroughly enjoyable show of impeccable dance moves. 
Not only does he dance like a seasoned trained professional who has loads of experience thrilling audiences, but he also mimes and mimics the song. 
The little guy is basking in the spotlight. He appears to enjoy every second of his time on stage. He is head and shoulders above his peers, with most other children standing nervously and with little to no movement. 
It does not matter what happened before or after that little guy’s dance clinic. His cool, smooth and suave moves stole the entire show!

<title>Adorable Uncle And Niece Duo Win Over Simon With “Ain't No Mountain High Enough”</title>

Meet Joseph B. Clarke, better known as Jojo, and his pint-sized 14-year-old niece, Bri’Anna Harper. Together these two have something that, according to Simon, is the “definition of joy and magic.” We think you’ll agree!
As the two meet the judges, it is clear that Jojo is a familiar face. This isn’t his first time in front of the “America’s Got Talent” panel; Jojo actually competed in Season 15 of “AGT.” He was then with a gospel vocal trio called <a href="https://www.facebook.com/officialresound">RESOUND</a>, eliminated in the Quarterfinals.
Simon asks Jojo what the key thing was that he learned through his prior experience on “AGT,” and Jojo shares that he learned, most of all, to never give up. That answer works for Simon and Heidi. Jojo says that he’s tried to teach that to his niece, because “she’s phenomenal.” Bri gives her uncle an appreciative embrace.
When Simon asks Bri what her dream is and how she’d spend her winnings, she says she wants to make people smile and give to charity. That answer works for everybody! This little lady has got a megawatt smile herself! The two haven’t even started singing, and the judges are in love!  
As they prepare to begin, Jojo asks Bri if she’s ready, and he assures her that she is. Jojo is not only a singer, producer, composer, and arranger—he’s also a vocal coach! Bri is just one of the hundreds of students her uncle has worked with since he founded <a href="https://meaww.com/nbc-americas-got-talent-season-17-who-is-jojo-and-bri-572277">Clarke Vocal Coaching</a> in 2013. A gifted artist himself, he wants to help other young singers to realize their musical talents, too.
Bri’s Mom, Eboni, stands watching with “AGT” host, Terry Crews. She takes a deep breath in and lets it out, her hands folded in front of her face. But, this isn’t the first time she’s watched her baby girl perform. Bri shared a song on social media in 2018, and <a href="https://www.lvmedia.net/post/singing-prot%C3%A9g%C3%A9-6th-grader-bri-anna-bri-harper">that performance went viral</a>, leading to appearances on “The Ellen Degeneres Show” and “The VIEW,” among others. Bri was in 6th grade at the time!
When they start channeling <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-C_3eYj-pOM">Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell</a>, it is pure fun! Jojo and Bri have the energy and the moves, the synergy and the notes! They deliver goosebumps and good feels! Soon, Simon’s eyes fly open when Bri belts out a big one, Howie’s hand is on top of his head in surprise, and Terry and Eboni are in full-blown dance mode by the chorus!  
The audition ends with a standing ovation, hugs and high-fives, and four resounding yesses! Simon says that theirs is among his favorite auditions thus far. High praise! 
Jojo and Bri demonstrate humility as they excitedly thank the judges, and their <a href="https://www.facebook.com/jbclarkeeee/posts/1178737862460260?comment_id=1185078881826158">social media</a> posts illustrate their gratefulness to God. While the judges are praising them, they are praising and thanking Him!

<title>Jeff Foxworthy Shares Powerful Message: 'Do Not Be Ashamed Of The Name Of Jesus Christ'</title>

Jesus Christ can take anything and everything and make something beautiful out of it. It could be the worst situation imaginable, and God can use it for good and the building of the Kingdom. Or it could be a seemingly insignificant, hilariously awkward speaking engagement that can be used to change the lives of others. 
In a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0K0JDoAQG0">clip posted on YouTube</a>, Jeff mentioned how he was invited to speak at a wild game dinner in his home state of Georgia. Jeff told a friend of his that, for some reason, he believed God was calling him to speak at that event. 
When Jeff got there, it wasn’t exactly what he expected. He made a startling discovery. There was no stage, light or microphone at what turned out to be a goat rope. But thousands of people did show up to hear Jeff speak. 
So, on a makeshift stage, Jeff did some comedy and then talked about Jesus Christ. Years later, God revealed to Jeff how his appearance at the odd gathering made a difference in someone’s life.
While at church, one man informed Jeff that he had attended that event and gave his life to Jesus Christ that night. 
Jeff encouraged the audience to listen to God whenever He speaks to us, pushing us to act and do something for Him.
“So, whatever it is you do in your life, be bold for Him,” Jeff said. “Do not be ashamed of the name of Jesus Christ because He is our only hope.” 
Jeff added that we must be bold for Him because there is a lost and dying world that needs to hear about the love, grace and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

<title>Country Trio Stuns The Crowd With Epic Response To Dolly Parton's 'Jolene'</title>

From the moment they stepped on the stage, we knew they were something special. The trio is made of family, two sisters Danica and Devlyn Hart and first cousin, Trea Swindle. 
Rooted in Mississippi, the group grew up on Dolly Parton. With a nod to their beloved icon, the trio wrote an original of their own titled, ‘You Can Have Him, Jolene’ which is a follow up to Dolly’s original, ‘Jolene.’ 
Danica explained why they wrote the cheeky song, "We were so inspired by the song ‘Jolene;' we just love the storyline. And we figured, though, from 1973 to 2022, we could not still be fighting over the same man, so we decided to tell her, 'You can just have him, Jolene.'”
The high-energy country song had the crowd cheering and the judges dancing. By the time they finished their performance, the audience was chanting for the Golden Buzzer. But this is where it gets interesting.
The Judges had already hit the Golden Buzzer this season, it’s against the rules to use it again. For a moment, as the judges deliberated about what to do, the crowd was stunned to silence while Chapel Hart hoped for the best outcome on the stage. 
Suddenly, all the judges brought their hands down together to hit the Golden Buzzer! They knew Chapel Hart was too incredible of a group with their talent, energy, and love of music to pass up. 
“Trust me, I needed you today. I mean, that was fantastic," Simon said. "I love you, and I love the choreography going on around you. It was just brilliant…You’ve just got to break down that door, and you may have just broken down that door with that performance, trust me,” Simon Cowell said. 
The trio shared that it had been hard for them to break into Nashville because they don’t ‘look’ like country music.
Heidi Klum added, “"I love the song, I love the energy, I love the look. You say country music doesn’t look like you; that is your win, because you are going to be the original.”
