He ranks first in prize money rankings (252.66 million won), grand prize points (106 points), and average number of strokes (69.36 strokes). The world ranking was also ranked 40th, up 23 places from last week.

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Gangwon FC striker Lee Sang-heon is emerging as the best striker in the K-League at the beginning of the season under the guidance of his old mentor, coach Yoon Jeong-hwan. Coach Yoon noticed Lee Sang-heon’s goal-scoring ability and high soccer intelligence and requested to sign him from Cerezo, but the request was canceled due to Ulsan’s high transfer fee request.
Lee Sang-heon is a multi-player who can play a variety of positions in the offensive line, including striker, left winger, and attacking midfielder. His natural sense and skills are good, and he was evaluated as a player who can make a difference in the offensive zone with his instantaneous speed and dribbling.
He spent more time with other teams than with Ulsan. In 2018, he went on loan to Jeonnam Dragons and increased his value with 5 points and 2 assists in 21 games. After returning to Ulsan and playing two seasons, he wore the Busan I-Park uniform in 2021. He recorded 10 points and 7 assists in 69 league games over 3 seasons in Busan. However, under the leadership of Park Jin-seop, he was pushed out of the first team, and at the call of his old teacher Yoon Jeong-hwan, he signed a contract with Gangwon as a free agent this season. Lee Sang-heon said in his recruitment interview at the time, “I met Director Yoon for the first time in 8 years. “He had a great influence on team selection,” he said.
After reuniting with director Yoon Jeong-hwan, he is showing off his original talent to the fullest. As his Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) club has decided to go young this season, Kiwoom Heroes manager Hong Won-ki has been trying to manage his expectations.Two years removed from an appearance in the Korean Series, the Heroes are deep into a rebuild. Teenagers or those in their early 20s have been getting a bulk of playing time this year, and the Heroes have overachieved so far with a record of 15-19, good for seventh place in the 10-team league.In the rotation, the 22-year-old left-hander Lee Jong-min will make his third start of the season Tuesday evening against the Doosan Bears. Power abuse allegations raised against Korea’s top envoy to China by one of the embassy staffers were found to not be serious enough to warrant disciplinary action, the foreign ministry said Tuesday.The ministry reached the conclusion after conducting a 10-day inquiry into the allegations that Ambassador Chung Jae-ho verbally harassed and treated the embassy official in an arrogant and authoritarian manner.The complaint also included allegations that Chung pressured Korean companies in China to pay for the costs to set up business promotion booths at embassy events.

Saengong, a Korean household products brand, has signed a supply deal with a major ice cream maker and distributor in Kazakhstan to expand its presence in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region, the Korean company said Tuesday.Saengong CEO Kim Ji-seon met Shin Line Group Chairman Andrey Shin in the country’s capital, Almaty, Thursday and signed a memorandum of agreement for the $2.3 million three-year deal.With the deal, Saengong has paved the way to expanding its market to the region.Shin Line will exclusively distribute the Korean firm’s products — from everyday household products to beauty and cosmetics, beverages and snacks — to Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.Shin Line Group is the biggest ice cream firm in Kazakhstan and fifth-largest in the CIS region. It registered $230 million in sales last year.It also manufactures dairy products, dough, pastries and instant noodles and exports them to Russia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and China.

A North Korean diplomat-turned-defector has recently been appointed the president of the National Institute for Unification Education (NIU).Ko Young-hwan, who had worked as a North Korean diplomat in Africa for more than 10 years before defecting to South Korea in 1991, was selected through a public contest and will serve his two-year term until May 2026.Before taking office, he served as a special aide to Unification Minister Kim Yung-ho and vice president of the Institute for National Security Strategy.
