Never been crashed in etc…

Selling due to not having a bike anymore

PRODUCT INFORMATION:-

Arai RX-7 GP Helmet. Arai is extremely proud to announce that the RX-7 GP helmet is one of the very first helmets to meet both ECE Regulation 22-05 and the new SNELL M2010 standard. The RX-7 GP is in all respects the new benchmark in Arai’s helmet technology. The RX-7 GP was developed with the SNELL M2010 in sight, one of the most stringent helmet standards for impact-absorption tests, in addition to the mandated ECE Regulation 22-05 standard.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Peripherally Belted SNC Shell:

A belt laid peripherally on the top of the eye- opening of the shell increases the rigidity of the shell even further. This belt construction was devised during F-1 helmet development to reinforce the forehead area of the shell.

SNC outer Shell:

SNC (Structural Net Composite) incorporates a structural net reinforcing material embedded between Arai’s exclusive Super Complex Laminate layers. An organic material, called AR Mat, with a lower specific gravity is used that bonds permanent to the Super Fiber shell material to increase shell rigidity.

Air Wing:

The brand new MotoGP tested ”Air Wing” is easily adjustable, even with gloves on, in five different angles of attack positions to suit every riding position. The Air Wing reduces drag, turbulence and buffeting resulting in more comfort and additional top-speed.

Type 10 Diffuser:

Newly equipped with ”AirIn Stabilizer”, and additional air intake between the front and rear intake in the diffuser and large toggles. Reshaped Delta Duct 5 air intake for increased air flow en lower noise level.

Larger visor:

Next generation, race tested Super AdSis ”I” visor is extended by 5 mm at both sides for wider peripheral vision. Ridges along the upper edge of the shell offer a smooth transition between shield and shell, reducing wind noise and impact in case of an accident.

Airflow Spoiler Type 5:

The new airflow spoiler disturbs the airflow around the bottom edge. Together with the new Power Intake Shutter chin vent and the FFS (Free Flow System) aerodynamics around the bottom is optimized. Width of the helmet opening is enlarged for easier putting on and taking off.

Penetration tested Shell:

Features Hyper Ridge lines around the bottom that prevent compressing of the shell. Sleek, aerodynamic Side Exhaust Duct-3 integrated to the shell regulate air stream and prevent buffeting at speed.

Redesigned, integrated high-efficiency ventilation system:

The multiplier effect of the Side Exhaust Duct 3 and the new NE (stands for ”Neck Exhaust”) Nozzle 2 increases the ventilation effect at the lower part of the helmet. It works closely together with the Diffuser Type 10 and the new Delta Duct Type 5 to significantly increase interior air flow.

The completely removable Dry-Cool interior liningis developed for and tested by racing riders. It offers true comfort under all riding conditions, touring and sports riding alike, without tightness thanks to the new outer shell, Air Wing and other devices that all contribute to reduce buffeting and turbulence.

Emergency Release System:

Both cheek pads can be removed in seconds thanks to the advanced Emergency Release System. Rescue and medical workers can remove the cheek pads easily by just pulling the pad tabs. This offers extra room within the helmet, making removal of the helmet much easier and minimising the risk of additional injury.

This ARAI RX-7 GP Edwards Replica Race Helmet in size small is the perfect accessory for any on-road biker. With its sleek design and high-quality features such as Pinlock included, fully removable interior, and all seasons capability, this full-face helmet is sure to impress. The helmet is suited for men, and its different visors make it adaptable for any weather condition.

Whether you're a fan of Arai or searching for a reliable helmet, the RX-7 GP model is an excellent choice. It belongs to the Vehicle Parts and Accessories, Clothing, Protective Gear and Merchandise, Helmets and Accessories, and Motorcycle and Motorsports Helmets categories. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this top-of-the-line helmet.

Edited by gixergupster - 12 April 2024 at 20:25

V5 in my name.
Worth noting, it will need the fork seals replacing as I noticed a slight weep from one when I last got it out of the garage, and I’d recommend an oil and filter change and fresh brake fluid before use. The front calipers could probably benefit from a once over to be on the safe side. I’ll include an oil filter and a set of slick scrubs.
I’ve just put a new Yuasa battery on it, cleaned out the tank and pump, put some fresh fuel in and it fired up straight away and sounds good.

It’s up for £1500 plus £300 for the spare wheels but I’ll do a deal if you know anyone who might want it.
