2. Dropping into my blog after such a long time was like going back to a trip down memory lane. Its like going back to childhood and cherishing playing with buddies, having pepsi-cola for a mere 50 paise, those long discussions about TV serials that inspired us.
3. As i scrolled down my blog, I realized a lot have changed over these years. Well I started blogging way back in 2006. Looking back to what i wrote then was really juvenile, distracted and boring. As times passed by, the content became more important and was highlighted well in them.
4. Years have passed by since the last time i wrote, It wasn't and thought block. just that you tend to get so busy with your daily work and chores, that you forget what you really like and that which gives you joy. Life has changes, lot of new dimension dynamics in the house, different priorities, different statures, different goals and aims in life. We indulge so much into our daily life, we become vary of who we really are, what is that defines us, because coming to think of it, besides a few differences we are all alike. What makes us unique is how we let things around us define our life.
5. I've always wanted my interests and love define me and my life, but me too like all of us get caught in the vicious, ever spinning circle of success and failure. Success may be at the top but you eventually slip at times sinking down to failure. Lets no perpetuate this tug of war between success and failure into our inner self and lets make the circle into a straight line of happiness and well being.
6. Over the years I've arrived to a conclusion that nothing is more important than health. Health issues in the family sucks the life out of you. You can run after success, accolades, stature, money in life, but nothing is worth it, if you don't have a good health. Life can change in a flash of a second. Human body is so diverse and strong, it keeps emphasizing its importance to us human beings, While we are busy running behind materialistic goals in life, a complex process of wearing and tearing keeps reminding us we can outlive our body. If we can lead our life unscathed, that would be a big achievement.
7. Well so much of preaching after a long time, you might start wondering if i have been to some spiritual island or something. So much for the absence. Hope to be writing more frequently.

  24.

  25. An oppressed nation which got free from the british rule in 1947, still comes to terms with the fact of a free, sovereign, democratic country. But i just asked myself what is freedom actually? do we feel free as indians.
26. I realised freedom is so subjective like happiness. When we had the British rule in India, our lives revolved around getting a decent job under the ruling british government and get humiliated as slaves time an again. The timid ones were happy and contented with the freedom they had. While the rebellious lot started an uprising and got india the hard fought freedom. The whole nation rose with joy and bliss for the start of a new era under indian sovereign economy.
65 Years later where do we stand. Everyone wants a freedom. As we are so busy with our own lives to earn the daily bread, we keep complaining about our horrible bosses, our corrupt political system, our loud landlord, our financial and emotional problems. The issues are plenty, the need for freedom is unending. Day in and day out time flies, just makes me wonder what have i done which actually makes my country a better place than it was under a ruler. Though we've all served the society in some or other way, a teacher has imparted education to make us a more litterate nation, as a doctor ya it gives immense contentment in treating the poor n needy, an entrepreneur has bought business and economical gain to the nation. Sportsmen have put us on the map so that the world over we are recognized. But is it enough, our political system seems to be in the drain as usual, corruption has extrapolated massively, innocent tax payers' money has been misused. Atleast in last decade we have become an ignorant and complacent nation. No one wants to take a bold step unless and until its bothering you. No one wants to go into the well and clean it. Everyone is happy sucking water from the top, well that includes me too.
27. The politicians run the country whichever way they want, and we are just puppets to it. The Anna Hazare campaign did raise some valid points, but their uprising just got diverted from the main issue, due to few irresponsible members. Anna hazare and his group have decided to run for elections, which is a great move, to fight the system by being in the system not from outside the system, in a democratic way. I am sure they can hire able members to form the party who have a decent level of education and have an understanding constitution and economy. We as indians need to come out of our routine, mundane lives to actually make a difference in whichever way we can.
49.
50.

  51.

  52.

  53. The current debate going on internationally against the
  54. srilankan government's atrocities against tamil civilians has sparked
  55. contrasting reviews in different lobbies.

  56.

  57. It was a rather late response to UK based channel 4's
  58. documentary Srilanka's killing fields. The video was shown in the UN human
  59. rights commission (UNHRC), which shocked each and every person and the world,
  60. many of them in tears. The video illustrates a very disturbing account of the
  61. attacks of srilankan army on LTTE stronghold. They started the attack on the
  62. town named kilinochi and slowly wiping out most of the people in other northern
  63. and eastern parts of lanka. During the war, the video shows common civilians
  64. running for life, beaten up to death, shot at gunpoint and young women sexually
  65. abused and killed later. The video also shows men n women stripped and killed
  66. with a gun shot on the skull, much like the Taliban killings. As the nude
  67. bodies were piled up in a truck, the srilankan soldiers even passed some lewd
  68. comments on the dead bodies of young females.

  69.

  70. To make it more painful, the army even did heavy shelling on
  71. the no fly zones, which were used as makeshift hospitals to treat the wounded.
  72. The hospitals, refugee camps, and food shelters everything was brought down
  73. with attacks. The channel gives an estimate of 40000 casualties and many
  74. wounded and disabled. Srilankan government as expected out rightly denied the
  75. allegations and said the videos were maligned. One of the srilankan channels
  76. also counterfeited the claims of the documentary. The most shocking part was
  77. that supposedly UN had full knowledge of things going on in srilanka but did
  78. nothing.

  79.

  80. US then passed a resolution against the war crimes in UNHRC
  81. which was later passed by UN. Then the decision was taken to vote for the
  82. resolution. 24 Countries supported the resolution, 18 against and 8 absentees.
  83. There was a whole debate whether India should support or not, but they finally
  84. gave up to the pressure by Tamil nadu govt and voted against one of the most
  85. trusted allies of our country. Though India tried to lighten the stand with a
  86. request to bring an amendment to the resolution that the entire human rights
  87. enquiry is done with consultation of the government. Most neighbors including
  88. china, Pakistan supported Lankan stand. Srilankan president Rajapakshe quoted
  89. it was against the very international law, it is an attack on sovereignty.
  90. Though srilanka did agree to make some amendments abiding to Lessons Learnt and
  91. Reconciliation commission (LLRC). And said that they would do whatever is feasible. So does this make us the odd one out amongst
  92. the SAARC countries, the debate continues?

  93.

  94. Interesting thing is the resolution was passed by the very
  95. United States, who themselves were accused of war crimes on innocent people in
  96. Afghanistan and Iraq. Well the matter just died down. There were no UN
  97. resolutions to it as far as I know. So did we bow down to the west, supporting
  98. the very country that have accused us many times of human rights violations in
  99. Kashmir and Assam and need for international interference. Did US just made us
  100. look like puppets, the question remains?

  101.

  102. Finally no one thought about the humanity in the whole
  103. raging issue of diplomacy we have all forgotten the common man, aam aadmi. What
  104. were the fault of those young kids who were killed in the attack, or the men
  105. and women. These people just worked hard to earn their daily bread. Immaterial
  106. of the fights between srilankan government and LTTE, they just carried on with
  107. their life to feed their family. Killing people is not new to LTTE either.
  108. Thousands of people have died in srilanka due to their suicide bombings and
  109. attacks on bureaucrats. Who died the innocent common man. LTTE killings cannot
  110. be pardoned; the most famous was the killing of our then prime minister the
  111. charismatic late Rajiv Gandhi. India might have done lot of progress with him
  112. at the helm. LTTE even trained small kids to operate guns, they trained their
  113. army, got their weaponry secretly from neighboring countries. They used to make
  114. innocent civilians as pawns, provoke them, and train them to carry out suicide
  115. bombings. Again the common people suffered because of these extremists.
  116. Fighting for a cause is just but resorting to terrorism is not. But again it’s
  117. easier to say it sitting here, but situations over the years have provoked
  118. terrorism.

  119.

  120. In the aftermath of the war, it just makes you wonder,
  121. decades of rivalry, perseverance and fight for a separate state just got these
  122. people a lot. Was it worth? Was it worth to see your family die in front of you
  123. or the ladies brutally and sexually abused. Was it all worth for the common
  124. man? He still suffers and will do so in the future...

  141.
142. Facebook profile pic depicts ur age.
143. When u r young, school going, ur profile pic includes all the superheroes, spiderman, superman; movie actors, shahrukh, salman, or some other guy u admire.
144. When u r nearing ur 8th or 10th grade, ure photos mostly include group photos with ur group of chaddi buddy friends.
145. When u just enter college, the pics include, the nicely dressed up and new u, desperate enough to make impression among new gals in college, partying, with guitar.
146. This phase might be followed by pics intermittently with ur new found gfs, or u wasted with all the booze.
147. Then comes the phase when u start working, flaunting the money u make with visits to all expensive clubs and restaurants. And also to different country. And again intermittently ur wasted pics with booze.
148. Now when ure reaching a age of 25-29, ure again desperate, u again wanna impress all the female folks, so u put up all sexy pics, strutting ur stuff.
149. Now as ure getting a little old, u realize, ure getting ugly too, so u put up pics of ur childhood, to hear all ur female friends comment, "so cute", " so sweet"
150. Then out of no where, u actually find a gal n get married, profile pic is with ur newly wedded wife, yes that includes pics taken everywhere u visit.
151. OK once u get married, then u have kids, now ur profile pic is with ur wife and kid, or only ur kid.
152. Then comes a phase when ure into a self made exile from facebook for many years, called "Facebook is for kids"
153. Then when u actually get old, u start putting all spiritual pics of gods and temples as ur profile pic.
154.
155.
156.
157.
177. Yo people, whassup? Kay chaalla aahes
178. The Indian Bai, or specifically the mumbai bai are a group of sophisticated people, who have varied interests in different fields. This letter is dedicated to them.
179. Mumbai Bai, when u come late daily, use a better excuse than aaj bahut traffic tha or koi bimaar hai.
180. When u come to my home when nobody is der atleast keep the volume down when u are playing dink chaak marathi songs.
181. When u don't come for one day, the whole day, the house is such a mess, well its a mess even when u come, though we don't see it.
182. When u come to make sabzi for home, what to say, where do u get that zehrila mirchi, fumes come out everytime from everywhere.
183. Its always fun, when u come home n say "aap ko pata hai aaj uppar waale ghar mein kya hua" its fun to hear thos lovely bits of gossips, just don't go to uppar waala ghar n say "aap ko pata hai aaj neeche waale ghar mein kya hua" . Gossips just get more fun when u have company at home to enjoy ur gossips..
184. And we all love ur expert comments on reality shows and Tv serials. God only knows what will we do without u. Its never fun to watch a TV serial without u around.
185. And when u give advise regarding what kinda job, and which place i have to work, feel like idolizing u :P
186. Yes i would have to check the company credentials, apply to the company, clear the interview, but who cares, u have given the approval, thats enough.
187. When u take care of kids, its just amazing how u r able to talk with ur companions continuously for 2 hours and still look after the child. kudos.
188. And for the ladies, if u need tips on fashion, who else could be a better mentor than your bai. U'l get all the help regarding clothes and jewelry.
189. These days, we r even scared to fight with u, coz u get ur whole sena to argue against us. 'The Bai Union'
190.
191. But there are some Bai-s who are really helpful, take care of household chores, give a motherly care to children, don't expect big favors in return. Bravo to all of them.
192. To the Rest, Don't forget to read my post.
218. As an Anaesthesiologist, we need to give sedation and anaesthesia to patients for short or long surgeries and procedures. The Anaesthetic drugs have varied effect on patient's brains, and makes them have some weird dreams, hallucinations to almost nothing. During my practice, i ve come across some really funny statements by patients when coming out of anaesthesia.
219. Here are a few
220.
221.

  222. "Am I Alive"

  223.
224.

  225. "Dude, this stuff was great, never felt so high"

  226.
227.

  228. "Where is my bartender, i need more"

  229.
230.

  231. "You are great, you are like god to me"

  232.
233.

  234. "Am I home"

  235.
236.

  237. "Get me out of this Airplane"

  238.
239.

  240. "So how long the surgery is gonna take"

  241.
242.

  243. "Is it over already"

  244.
245.

  246. "You come to my home tonight, lets have some scotch"

  247.
248.

  249. "U din't give me enough drugs, i'l settle things when u come outside the hospital"

  250.
251.

  252. "Gosh , that was so long"

  253.

  254.

  255.
256.
284. Surrounded by Iris,
285. Well of Sadness is all so clear.
286.
287. Soaring through all the thin red veins
288. Emotions filled with fragrance are gently felt
289. Yet so disconnected and all so faint.
290. Anger, Frustration fill those void.
291. In those lonely by lanes,
292. Turning around the corner, boards with signs
293. Lead every time to that slovenly well.
294.
295. The skin feels so cold,
296. Lines have never been so bold,
297. Destiny calling maybe
298. All that is said, All that is done
299. All that thinking, All that screaming,
300. Never weft across that frigid soul.
301. Where have u gone?
302. Searched for u all this time, through the gawky glasses.
303. Lost in the uncertain viscera,
304. Drenched and stained with profane liquids.
305.
306. Felt through the crux of cardiac force.
307. The excruciating pain, undying abuse
308. Shaking the spirit, like a shadow less man.
309. Faking the victory, like a spine less man.
310. Time and Again he wondered why
311. Where is my Identity, Where is Me,
312. As he looked into the Luminous being
313. Mirror is what, he called that being.
Gadgets are invariably considered to be more unusually or cleverly designed than normal technological objects at the time of their invention. Gadgets are sometimes also referred to as gizmos.
334. Our whole surrounding is laden with gadgets, which have become a part of our essential reality. Right from our birth, from the doctor's ultrasound machine, to dad's newly bought toy, to advent of mobile phones and music players, the microwave, or the HD television set, the whole world is drenched with gadgets.
335. But there is a common misconception among people, that gadgets define you. Though we buy gadgets suiting our personality. It helps us do our office work at home, n the go, browse internet, travel across places using interactive maps, light ur cigarette, cool your mind with your favorite music. With the amount of applications in everyday gadgets, it make life simpler for people from all walks of life alike.
336.

337.

338. A device or gadget is mostly used these days as a status symbol, than a utility instrument. An actor or a CEO can't walk with a black and white display mobile, or a lower range laptop. It would be more embarrassing for the person. At the same time, If a new student in a college walks with an iphone, he is rich, cool, and the most happening guy in college.
339. At the same time, changing the looks or modifying the old device, by squeaking minor changes, has a huge impact. Imagine your old car, with a new shiny coating and colour, your old phone with a new and trendy external body, or your laptop with a personalized body.
340. I have a Windows mobile phone, which does give some sophistication to my personality, but does not define who I am. It helps me a lot to collect all the medical stuff in one place.
341. I can display important power point presentation through my mobile. There are apps these days to directly transfer medical patient data to your PDA, though its present in only sophisticated equipment. I personalize it as much as possible, to my favorite ringtone and favorite team's wallpaper. I have a game joystick, coz i love games. And i have a wireless bluetooth headset for music.
342. But in this era, we are too much dependent on gadgets, like if u have not worn your watch on a day to office, you feel like having forgotten to wear a shirt, and if you have forgotten your mobile, its worse, feels like you have forgotten your underwear. The face to face interaction between us has reduced a lot because of gadgets. We spend way too many hours on the computer or mobile. Children prefer to play games on the computer, than to play outside sports. The sedentary lifestyle, the leaning chair hours, has reduced the health quotient.
343. Dell has come with new range of Inspiron laptops, 14R and 15R, with 2nd generation Intel core processors. Attractive feature is the personalized laptop lids, which you can change within seconds. Choose a colour that suits your personality. Whether or not, it will revitalize your personality, its for you to decide.
367. Life is all about colors. We can so relate to everyday moods and happenings around you with the colors.
368. At times when there is poignant sadness, life is all black and dry.
369. When its filled with joy, its all fresh and yellow.
370. When you step up to make a new beginning, its blue and beautiful,
371. When you are happy and content about all your achievements in life, its a white and wonderful.
372. And When you seek to the almighty for help and happiness, he makes his presence felt like a rainbow.
373.
374. Here is an old pic of my mom n dad's marriage.
375.
376.

377. I wonder, how it will look when filled with colors. The beautiful garlands, the colorful sarees, the showering flowers as blessings from people, the color of the ornaments, the color of camera flashes, the colorful people. My Mom n Dad have been my inspiration my entire life. Whenever im faced with problems in life, i look up to them, one smile on their face is enough inspiration for me.
378. Every joy, every sadness, they've been behind me to support me, physically and mentally.
379. And the fact is this picture is still beautiful without colors, because they are the color of my life !!!!
380.
381. Adding a bit of color to your life is always beautiful. Here is how you can do that.
382. Well the movie was really well made, its shown the reality that happens in the posh streets and colleges of mumbai, delhi and even bangalore. The movie portrayed the gory sight of youngsters, indulging with drugs and alcohol, leading to misguided perceptions and in the end terminating with untoward accidents.
515. But where are we heading, the alcohol, the cigarretes, drugs, etc. are just misguiding the youth these days. Just few days back i was just walking past a famous mumbai college, i wouldn't name the college. As i walked past the college gate, past the narrow roads, that were adjacent to the college, saw some girls in the age group of 15-17 years, smoking cigarettes. Well obviously its none of my business, that the girls are smoking, but 90% of the youth take up to smoking, drinking and drugs, just to mingle in the crowd, just to show that they are cool, social and ready to take challenges. Research shows 80-85% of addictions start at 15-18 years of age. If parents act right at this age, to curb these tendencies, they can actually protect their children from long term addiction. Problem is we don't realize it at that age, but when we grow older, we start seeing the effects of it.
516. Parents are also at fault for the behavior of their children. In the name of love and care, parents spoil the children with accepting all the child's wishes even though things are not rational. Spending hours together on computer, mobile, social networking and spending less time with parents, this is what happening at every home nowadays. The term Rich spoilt kids is not uncommon these days.
517. We keep saying the future of the country is with the youth of india, well but its actually in the hands of individuals, who have matured out of their youth and ready to lead a responsible life and the country.
606.

  607.

  608.
609.
610.
611. Yesterday, i was travelling in the mumbai streets for some work. In a single day, i could see the act and effect of child labour on small school going children. First i was just waiting in the bus stop, saw couple of young 7- 8 year old girls carrying a big vessel of water on their head, in hot afternoon sun. With the weight of the vessel almost 25% of body weight of the child. Worse was they were walking barefoot and had to cross to the other side of the 3 lane link road. All that in heavy traffic. It was a real pity to see such kids doing cheap labour, instead they should be studying in schools.
612. The same day, i saw a young 10 year old boy buying gutkha( chewed tobacco) from a local pan shop. The pan shop owner without bothering just sold it to the fella after taking money. Some passerby caught hold of that boy, and made him spit all of it, and when the shop owner was asked bout selling gutkha to children. He said, " tereko kya karneka, usne paise diya maine becha" ( u mind ur own business, he paid money i sold it to him) . This is the awareness and responsibility of people around us.
613. I am too busy to care, but want to do something. Jaago Re and BlogAdda.com are helping me do my bit for the society. Please check it out.
614. The problem is bigger than child labour, the core problem is poverty and illiteracy. I just happened to talk to some poor families, most of them complain that they don't have money, so they are forced to send their kids for meager labour. Many of them understand that kids should be studying , some are just plain ignorant. Kids are easy target for cheap labour. People can make them work whole day and can get away without paying them too. This kind of lifestyle exposes them to various abuses like tobacco, smoking, drugs at a very early age and there is no one to monitor them either. Its sad that in our country we always talk about economic growth, but what about the core problems that are plaguing our country, Povery, Illiteracy, communicable diseases, child labour, female infanticide etc.
615. I know there are lot of NGOs working on this issues, but there should be a centralised portal by government, where quick and correct action can be taken against these issues. And even i want to be part of the cause to curb these issues in our country.
616.
He equally divided brawn, brain and beauty to both men and women. He then thought if i give both of them brawn and beauty, then whey would be so alike. So he decided to give men the brawn, brain and beauty, and for the women, instead of brawn, he added an extra portion of brain. The resulting effect is that, the latter have and extra portion of brain, which conflicts with the original brain, so in the end they themselves don't know what they are thinking. No wonder they are difficult to understand :P

Every woman has a sixth or seventh or eight sense, or whatever number u wanna give it. This is a peculiar power that women have. Let me explain it to u. Imagine a woman sitting in a hall alone, and u are sitting across the hall, far away from her. U might be in the farthest spot in her field of vision. Try staring at her for a long time, keep concentrating and just stare at her. After a while somehow, she's come to know that, someone is staring at her, n look back at u. U wont believe, at times ive been sitting behind a gal, n was generally lookin at her, n she turned back. Gals have this amazing talent, don't know how they do that. Coz trust me guyz, we can never know. :)

A woman's brain so complex to understand too. There are so many things going on in their head all the time. They have such an analytical mind, massive programming and coding goes on at the top floor. When U are with a gal, u must pay attention, to every damn thing she says. Even if u miss even 1/10th of the conversation, ure screwed, u definitely ain't gettin any goodies. Suppose ure not listening and she asks something out of the blue, the best answer u could give is " ya ya sure", or to make her more happy "absolutely" .

Never interrupt or disturb a gal while shes talking on the phone or sleeping, well dude shhhhh.. thats the only time shes not yelling at you.

They have this amazing way of creating an imaginary world with their hands while talking on the phone. She's be waving her hand in the imaginary atmosphere, as if the person shes talking to is sitting right next to her. Best is when shes angry, u'l see all kinda hand gestures, which u really wanna get away from. And also while shes giving directions, her hands will go right for right direction and vice versa.

Don't ever miss a phone call, well u are then subjected to such a rigorous interrogation, even FBI will have mercy on u. Even if ure going for download, take ur mobile with u.

And always comment on how she looks, and remember this has to be done on a regular basis, preferably every time u meet her. Well of course, say only good things.

Finally this post was written just to tickle the funnybone. If any of you feel it was rude, derogatory, unacceptable, then i don't give a damn :P

And to all the women in my life, I love you, i hate you, i adore you, i despise you, but i can never ignore you, because without a woman, a man's life would be like a barbeque full of sausages. :P

<!--

That is where i spent my 5 years of education. It was a good feeling to go back to old times, old places.
707. Those clean roads, those honking two wheelers, those cycles, which cross ur lanes unexpectedly, its fun to go back to old times.
708. Its been so long not used to cold weather. The temperature over there was not at all friendly, with a freezing temperature of 5.3 degrees, coldest in the last 75 years, had to be the day i was there.. :)
709. Even large glasses of alcohol wasnt helping. Was just making my health worse. Was great to see my very good friend getting happily married. The happiness on her face was so evident. Wedding was a lavish affair, with all the groom's friends dancing to latest bollywood chartbusters and some even impersonating bollywood stars. Though even i wanted to be part of the stage, but coudn't help it, reached late for the whole event. The Reception was equally grand, with the bride and bridegroom both looking fabulous.
710. The time in nagpur wasnt that great due to my more frequent visits to the loo. The cold wasnt helping the body either. Not to mention I had a 4.30 am train to catch to get back to bangalore. To make the matters worse, the train was a whole 3 hrs and 30 mins late. I was really skeptical of catching this train, coz this train is always dirty, so forget bout loo. Just got into the train, found my seat and hit the bed. went to sleep, coz dint have a good sleep past couple of days.
711. Was just wondering, how im gonna spend my time, 24hrs in the train, after all its really long time. Luckily, i got few interesting co-passengers. One was a late 60s old man, another was an old lady must be about 75 years, and she was travelling alone from lucknow, was thinking this lady has guts to travel alone for such a long distance. Then there was a young late 20s techie. and young 20 something gal. Mind it very rarely happens, gals are there anywhere around me during a train journey, she was decent looking.
712. Earlier, 5-6 years back during MBBS, when me and my roommate used to travel by train back home to bbay from nagpur, It was customary to go and first check the passenger list, for all <25 year old females. Not That we used to do anything about it, even if there were females. Just used to be happy, a good looking chic is sitting beside us, which never used to happen... This time i was too sick and tired, to even get up of the seat.
713. I met a interesting 40 something guy, he was a vice principal of a management college in hyderabad. He had such a command in talking and convincing people. For some people, this skill comes so naturally, he was so charismatic and confident, impressed all the passengers nearby. Wasnt difficult to identify, hes a management guy. He even convinced the train Ticket checker to give a seat to one of the co-passengers, where it looked impossible, looking at the rush.
714. After a long journey was good to reach bangalore, though was 3 hrs late, but was a relief from the cold climate in the central part of india.
715. Best part of train and bus journey is u get to see the real india, looking forward to take some more trips in the future.
<!--

Child labour, should be strictly prohibited, may it be at homes, or on streets. Each day , so many children, die of malnutrition and infections. What is the crime of the poor child.
Organisations like CRY, Akshay Patra, Teach India, Bal janagraha, and many more are doing a wonderful job, by catering to all the needs.. We must support the cause whichever way we can, spread the awareness, help monetarily, do volunteering work, spend some time with the children, encourage education amongst chidren in neighbourhood.
All these efforts, can build us a better tomorrow.

<!--

  756. Wandering in the cluster of tall moving people
757. Scared and insecure, searching for some home,
758. Looking for those moist soft hands.
759. Hugging me and holding me
760. And saying Its All right
761. U were there for me, Mom
762.
763. When I was sad, dejected, failed
764. When i though all my options were derailed,
765. When confidence had hit a road block,
766. There was no one to lift me off the dock,
767. U were there for me, Dad
768. U were there to motivate me,
769. made me believe in myself,
770. made me realize my talents.
771. U were there for me, Dad.
772.
773. U have always been a role model for me,
774. Always been the people,
775. I most look upto.
776. U were always been the people,
777. I care more than anything.
778. U were always been the people,
779. I love more than anything.
780.
781. I want to promise u Mom & Dad
782. I will always be beside u, when u need me.
783. I will always care for u, how much ever it takes.
834.
835. Right now, almost a billion people on the planet don’t have access to clean, safe drinking water. That’s one in eight of us. And the number is just going on increasing.
836. In developing countries the number of people go without water is just alarming. Most of the people just lack services of basic sanitation and drinking water. Water has been a major issue for violence and misconduct in many parts of the world. In Africa, there have been lot of killings in the name of supplying water.
837. There are also lots of epidemics across India and also other developing countries. Cholera, Dysentery, Hepatitis A, the list goes on. Children are more susceptible to these gastrointestinal diseases. It is one of the leading causes of mortality in children.
838. The Ocean and other water bodies are being polluted with industrial waste and human waste across the world. Its harmful not only to the fauna and animal life but also to we humans who are drinking it. So pollution of water body has become a thwarting issue not only for human welfare but also for environmental and animal welfare.
839. Saving water starts at home. There are lot of states coming up with innovative ideas for rain water harvesting. There are specialised equipments available to store and use the rain water as a major water source across houses.
840. On an average we use about 300-400 litres of water/day . Isn't it alarming? Out of it if u take out even 2-3 litres of water daily, it could supply drinking water for atleast 2 children.
841. Make it a pledge for tomorrow, to save water, it might be only a litre, but that 1 litre can quench the thirst of an old man living in the streets.
842. Things that can be done to save water at home :
843.
844.
845. 1. While you are using water for hand wash, brushing, a shave, don't let the tap water running, open it only when required.
846. 2. Instead of taking bath under the shower daily, at least twice a week, use water from a bucket for taking bath.
847.

3. People at home can start harvesting rain water in a small reservoir, and use this rain water for gardening, washing cars and stuff. To know more about it, click here
848. 4. While moving out of your home, check whether all taps are closed, and there is no leakage from taps.
849. 5. While washing utensils, don't let the water keep running from tap, use it as required
850. 6. There are many more small things one can do to save water.
851.

852.

But, water moves beyond just a human rights issue. It’s an environmental issue, an animal welfare issue, a sustainability issue. Water is a global issue, deserving a global conversation.
872.
873.
874. Had an awesome bday this time in mumbai
875. This birthday was special, the date read 10-10-10 and at 10.10 hrs, my mom wished me and my twin bro on our birthday.
876. I wanted it to be somewhat special,
877. Well the best i could make out of it. was to celebrate it with my family. So had come down to aamchi mumbai. Had an awesome saturday nite party with all my 'POWAI PALS' folks. As usual the guys were all charged up to dance n drink. and the gals were as always looking beautiful, with some specially invited girls too:)
878. All my good ol friends, got a cake, we cut it n gulped in a bottle of beer. With spirits flowing, music blowing, temperatures rising with all the beautiful gals, dancing was just an automatic movement of the body for us:)
879. So had a great party till 4am, couldn't ask for more.
880. As the day went on, i spent most of the time with my family, and had nice quiet lunch outside. Was great to spend time with my family after long time. Nothing like it.
881. And at nite, caught up with all my chuddi buddies from school. Best part is we never get bored of all those old school jokes. its still so much fun. All that imitations, and incidents, we still dont get tired of it.. :)
882. All in all It was a great bday. Hope to have more like these ones...
883. Thank you Amma, Appa, Shri, Satya, and all My buddies..
<!--
