138.

The version 2.0.1 of the Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN) was published as an ISO/IEC standard 19510:2013. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) writes in the abstract:

 139.

The primary goal of ISO/IEC 19510:2013 is to provide a notation that is readily understandable by all business users, from the business analysts that create the initial drafts of the processes, to the technical developers responsible for implementing the technology that will perform those processes, and finally, to the business people who will manage and monitor those processes. Thus, ISO/IEC 19510:2013 creates a standardized bridge for the gap between the business process design and process implementation.

 140.
You can download the standard as a pdf file on the > ISO page.

We started with a flight by > KLM from > Hamburg over > Amsterdam to > Glasgow. The first two-and-a-half day we were in Glasgow. The reason for the travel was the > concert of Bruce Springsteen at the > Hampden Park in > Glasgow on Tuesday. The concert was very good. In Glasgow we stayed in the > Mercure City Hotel which location was very central. On Monday we made a short trip by train to > Ayr, which is a small town at the seaside. On Wednesday we started a two day bus trip to the Highlands which was operated by > Timberbush Tours. Our driver was > Billy and he was very good. We stayed in > Fort William (see the picture) in the > Myrtle Bank Guest House. On Tuesday we drove to > Loch Ness, where we saw not Nessie. The trip finished in > Edinburgh, where we stayed until Saturday afternoon in the > Valentines Guest House. Edinburgh is a completely other city than Glasgow. Edinburgh has a medieval cityscape which some new buildings (Waverley station or Parliament). On Saturday afternoon we drove back to Glasgow by train. On Sunday morning we flight back to Hamburg via Amsterdam. Locations & companies which I can recommend: Timberbush Tours, Mercure City Hotel in Glasgow, Valentines Guest House in Edinburgh, Myrtle Bank Guest House in Fort William, > Blackfriars in Glasgow.
