26. Phlox is a salamander. Her eggs are her pride and joy and she eagerly awaits their hatching. She overhears her clutch referred to as 'A Handful of Eggs' and this causes her to question how many eggs make a handful? Has she too many or  too few?<br />

28. Wonderful book for children to read or have read to them. This is the type of book I could cuddle up with my grandchild so we could travel through the story together.<br />

He wants to go and join them and his chance comes when his owner Timmy comes in the door. Unfortunately the outside world is not as wonderful as Boo expected it to be.</span></div>

I was fascinated by the story and illustrations, and believe it will catch and hold young children's attention. The author makes no attempt to humanize Boo. He acts and purrs like a kitten when he is happy, and meows loudly when he is frightened. His owners love him and he loves them. The only reason he got into trouble was because he was bored. Is there a message for young people there?</span></div>

Then there's the congregation who are still withholding judgement about a woman pastor. With her close friend Lacey, Christine gets into all sorts of situations, both dangerous and funny, when they try to solve the murder mystery.</span></div>

321. When I first started reading I wondered if this was going to be a &#39;Sex and the City&#39; type of book. The only resemblance to the famous four is the main characters are women. Other than this there are no parallels. Ms Buckland has taken her characters from real life with all their problems, heartaches and happy times. It&#39;s not only the story that grabbed me, it&#39;s the quality of the writing. I would recommend &amp;nbsp; &lt;i&gt;A Girl&#39;s Guide to Fairytales&lt;/i&gt; to any reader of light romance. Witches, the devil and his underling and the good guys, both the coven and ancestors, were there to help turn Ajax from his evil ambition and kept me intrigued as I wondered what would happen next. </span></div>

Throw in explosions, spells, ethereal beings and the occasional scene that pulls at the heartstrings. Previously unknown links also pop up when least expected. All these make this a good book to read or give as a present. No heavy scenes so suitable for teenagers upwards but enjoyable by every age. </span></div>
