39.

It’s a well-known fact that clutter can make an office space seem hectic and disorganized. Business and commercial building owners looking for ways to clean out their offices can learn different ways to clean out their offices in this blog! We’ll discuss how to clear off desks, get rid of any papers or items they don’t need, organize their office supplies so they are easy to find and use, create a filing system for important documents such as receipts, contracts, or invoices and label all drawers with what should be stored in them. Once they have finished organizing the physical aspects of their office space from top to bottom – from the inside out – it will be much easier to keep everything organized going forward!

 40.
1. Clear off all desks

 41.
To efficiently clear off any desks, separate all of the items into different boxes. Then, think about whether or not the items are needed in the near future. If so, sort them into a box labeled “to be used later.”

 42.
If everything on the desks is necessary, separate the items by category and pile them up accordingly. For example, have one stack of paperclips while another has letter openers. Once every item has been placed in its own pile, begin arranging them on the shelves.

 43.
If there are items that are not needed – such as old mugs and pens, books, etc., then put these into a box labeled “to be thrown away.”

 44.
2. Get rid of any papers or items that are not needed

 45.
These can include documents from a previous project, old drafts of any resumes, etc. Also, if there is any stationery over this year that is unnecessary anymore – such as letterheads or business cards- then recycle them! They’ll come in handy when it’s time to create new ones for next year anyway.

 46.
If there are any items or papers that should have been thrown away and they were not, then put them in the recycling bin. Any old post-its should be thrown out as well.

 47.
3. Organize office supplies so they are easy to find and use

 48.
If there are a lot of different office supplies and tools, try to group them. Either by color or type! For example, all pens can be placed in one cup while another holds the paperclips and staples. Another way you can organize items is by color or size.

 49.
Having everything in one area makes it easier to find what is needed when working on a project. Furthermore, organization will keep the desks clear of clutter so that employees can focus better!

 50.
If there are different types of pens or paperclips mixed together – sort them out immediately by separating the items into their own piles.

 51.
4. Create a filing system for important documents, such as receipts, contracts, or invoices

 52.
Any receipts or documents that need to be kept for future reference should be filed away in a specific drawer. This way, everything can be found easily when the time comes! Use different filing categories like taxes, bills, medical records, etc. Just make sure that these are clearly labeled so they will not get mixed up with any other files.

 53.
All contracts and invoices should be kept in a designated folder that is placed on one of the shelves in your office space. Then, when it comes time to pay any bills, these documents will be together!

 54.
To make sure this system works well – dedicate some time every week to organize or file away old receipts.

 55.
5. Label all drawers with what should be stored in them to make it easier to find things when needed

 56.
To properly label your drawers, first decide if each drawer is for stationery and pens; essential documents such as receipts or invoices; other office supplies like stapler and scissors, etc.; miscellaneous items like old post-its.

 57.
If any types of information should not be stored inside the desk, then label the drawer accordingly. For example, if an employee doesn’t want to keep their personal items out in the open, put a sign on one of the drawers that reads “personal use only.” Just make sure all of the categories and labels are clear and easy to read!

 58.
6. Call a Junk Removal Company

 59.
Finished organizing your office space but are still left with a lot of unnecessary items? Then, it’s probably time for junk removal!

 73.

Having a deck in your backyard may add aesthetics to your house. It may also bring you the enjoyment of spending time outdoors.

 74.
However, there are times that it may need to be removed due to specific reasons like deterioration caused by weather conditions or old age or your family wants to renovate or change its appearance. Therefore, there are a few things to consider before demolishing it.

 75.

 76.
1. Clean Your Deck

 77.
Before anything else, you need to clean your deck to see and check its current condition and state. This will provide you with the necessary information to decide whether it is feasible and advisable to remove your deck.

 78.
You can begin by sweeping away debris or dirt if there are still some on the flooring surface, then mop using warm water mixed with soap or other cleaning solutions. You can also use a pressure washer or hose to clean it thoroughly.

 79.

 80.
2. Assess Your Deck

 81.
You need to examine your deck carefully, starting from its foundation and components up until its surface or covering for any signs that may show problems in terms of deterioration or any tear. Next, assess how much of the structure needs to be replaced. Then, you can either replace all of it or just one section.

 82.

 83.
3. Remove All Attachments

 84.
The next thing to do is to take out all the attachments of your deck like railings, stairs, and benches. Next, call an electrician to disconnect the power and remove any wires from the deck. Finally, remove all nails, screws, or other fasteners not in concrete for safety reasons and remove injuries.

 85.

 86.
4. Plan Your New Deck

 87.
After assessing and removing all attachments, you need to plan and understand what your new deck will look like, what materials to be used, and what design to apply. It would be best to have the timeframe for your new deck to build and the expenses you need to prepare.

 88.

 89.
5. Call G.I. Junk Away For Demolition

 90.
Once you’ve decided on what needs replacing and what doesn’t, you’ll want to hire G.I. Junk Away since they are experts for demolition. It will make the task easier instead of doing everything on your own because they will have all the necessary equipment and expertise to take down your deck safely. 109.

Do you have trouble getting your house clean because it feels like you’re always running out of time or energy? Don’t worry, we’ve got some great tips for you. Our DIY Cleaning Tips article will show you how to make cleaning quicker and easier by doing things from the comfort of your own kitchen. You’ll be amazed at what a little elbow grease can do!

 110.
Top 5 DIY Cleaning Tips
111.
112. 1. Use a microfiber cloth to clean your furniture

 113.
It’s easy to get dust everywhere, and it can be tough to keep the furniture looking clean. To avoid this, use a microfiber cloth instead of paper towels or rags when you’re wiping down your couch or ottoman. You’ll need a fabric cleaner to give them an extra boost with each washing.

 114.
2. Make your own natural cleaning products

 115.
If you are tired of the cleaning products you get at the store, you can make your own using ingredients you probably already have in the kitchen. For example, if you mix a teaspoon of baking soda with some water and add dish soap, this makes an excellent all-purpose cleaner easy on surfaces like stainless steel or granite.

 116.
3. Clean up after yourself

 117.
This tip sounds like a given, but cleaning as you go can make a huge difference! Instead of stressing about a huge mess, clean up little by little, so you don’t have to backtrack throughout the day.

 118.
4. Get rid of clutter around the house

 119.
Clutter is a huge source of stress, so take an organized approach to declutter your home. Start with the easiest stuff and work your way up until you are left with only what matters most.

 120.
5. Hire a Junk Removal Company!

 121.
Although hiring someone else isn’t a “DIY” task, this will make the cleaning process much easier. Junk removal companies like GI Junk Away can provide you with a team to help clean up your home while removing the junk for you.

 170.
When you purchase a home, the first thing that often needs to go is carpeting. Even if this flooring option is relatively new, you never know what the previous occupant might have been doing in each room.

 171.

 172.
What could be lurking in the padding or on top of the subfloor? It’s a thought that makes many homeowners shudder.

 173.

 174.
Although you can hire professional carpet installers who will remove your old flooring for an additional fee, it’s often cheaper to do part or all of the demo work yourself. If you need help with its disposal later, a professional junk removal specialist can provide an affordable alternative.

 175.

 176.
Here are the steps to follow when you’re ready to get rid of that old carpet in your home for good.

 177.

 178.
Step #1: Prepare the Room

 179.
You might need to remove doors, wall trim, baseboard heaters, and similar items before pulling the unwanted carpet. However, if you carefully pry everything off, you can reuse them once the flooring project is complete. The carpet might run-up to your wall without being tucked underneath it. In that situation, you might be able to skip to the second step.

 180.

 181.
Step #2: Cut the Carpet into Strips

 182.
It helps to use a utility knife when cutting the unwanted carpet. If you create thin strips across the room, it’ll be easier to manage the materials. Of course, you’ll need to put some effort into the process to drive the blade through the backing, but you also want to avoid impacting the subfloor.

 183.

 184.
Step #3: Pull Up and Roll the Carpet

 185.

 186.
You’ll want breathing protection, goggles, and gloves for this step. When you pull up the carpeting, all the trapped allergens and dust get released into the environment. Start rolling it from one wall to the next with each strip until you have a manageable size without being bulky. Use duct tape to secure the carpet into a roll. Continue progressing across the room until all the carpeting is gone.

 187.

 188.

 189.

 190.

 191.

 192.
Step #4: Remove the Padding

 193.
Some installers used carpet padding that was glued to the floor. Depending on the age of the material, it might roll up into strips as the carpet did. You can secure those with duct tape. If you have foam padding, it will pull up without much effort. It helps to have a garbage bag available to prevent the debris from spreading around the room. Once you have that material gone, you’ll want to pull out any staples or clips that remain on the floor.

 194.

 195.
Step #5: Remove the Tack Strips (Optional)

 196.
If your tack strips are in good shape, you can leave them along the wall if you intend to install a new carpet. When they need to be removed due to mold, mildew, or damage, it helps to use a thin crowbar to lift the sharp tacks from the floor. Some products require a hammer and a paint scraper to get underneath for the lift.

 197.

 198.
Step #6: Clean the Area

 199.
Once you’ve removed the carpet, padding, and tack strips, your subfloor is ready for a good cleaning. It helps to have a shop vacuum available for the dust and debris you’ll find waiting there. Try not to use moisture on the subfloor to prevent potential issues with expansion that could delay your new flooring installation.

 200.

 201.
Once you have everything removed, you can contact a professional junk removal specialist in your area to take care of the unwanted items! At G.I. Junk Away, our expertise can be your next best asset when you have things that need to disappear. 217.

Built on the foundation of passion, dedication, and hard work, G.I. Junk Away was born into an eco-friendly and community-oriented junk removal team. The owners, Blake Petricca and Joshua Sperling, didn’t start their company as most others do. Blake, a marine veteran who served overseas for four years, did not want to stop serving others after combat ended. He returned to the states with a purpose in mind – he would continue serving his community back home.

 218.
Joshua went through recruitment in the military, and many of his comrades ended up going overseas after training. On numerous occasions, Josh got the heartwrenching report that some of his friends would not make it back home. And for the friends who did make it back, some would have to live with debilitating injuries after their tour, and Josh couldn’t help but feel like he needed to do more when it came to serving his community here at home. Joshua decided that it was his time to give back to veterans and expand their opportunities, so he and Blake came together to start their new dream.

 219.
G.I. Junk Away started as a small side hustle. Joshua and Blake started off with just a truck and a trailer, and this hustle eventually turned into a full-service, clean, and professional junk hauling company. Most of the team is comprised of veterans who have the same passions as Joshua and Blake.

 220.
Now, when it comes to hiring a junk removal service in Fallbrook, California, what do you need to know beforehand? Let’s start with the basics… “What is junk?”

 221.
Junk is everything that you do not need, broken items, items cluttering up your home, or anything that is obsolete. People tend to collect things over the year which is kept in places you don’t usually see, which can cause quite an accumulation of these junk items.

 222.
What happens when G.I. Junk Away hauls away your items?

 223.

 224.
Broken and worn-out stuff is taken to a dump where everything is properly disposed of

 225.
Well-maintained items are donated

 226.
Recyclables such as paper and metals are sent to recycling companies

 227.

 228.
It is possible to remove junk on your own, but that would take up a lot of your time, money and can be a hassle for you. Our team will save your time and make sure any items are taken to the proper outlet to be disposed of or donated. You won’t have to worry about having the proper equipment, trailers, or trucks when you call us.

 262.

As a homeowner during the pandemic, you may find yourself at home working or hanging out more often. But, your activities can interfere with the habitability of any room. With passing time, things lose significance, but owners don’t get detached from them mentally. This can eventually lead to cluttered spaces.

 263.
If you have an organized, clutter-free space at your disposal, you may experience benefits like:

 264.

 265.
Stress Relief

 266.

 267.
Since there is ample room for things and no cupboard spilling over, you will find every place providing comfort and convenience. A well-organized space soothes the mind. It helps boost mental health, as there is always a pattern in staying organized, and strangely patterns have unique soothing powers.

 268.

 269.
Improves Productivity

 270.

 271.
When there is no clutter around once you have all trash removed using junk removal services, you can get better space to work. Thus, instead of searching for things, you enjoy easy access, which ultimately allows you to do more work in a given time-span.

 272.

 273.
Provides Physical Comfort

 274.

 275.
That rotten hinge or the unused items occupying the typical paths can be the source of accidents. Removing things of limited use is more critical when kids and seniors are sharing the space. Since they can’t decipher between the safe and unsafe things, the fewer the discarded items in a room, the better is it for the people living in the home. The residents will stumble less and will be protected from allergens and disease-causing germs.

 276.

 277.
Allows More Family Time

 278.

 279.
Having clutter-free space means getting all junk removed. It does mean that the house can become spacious enough for all family members to live together. Further, it becomes easier to invite people over for get-togethers as you have an organized, spacious house where all can sit together and share quality time. Cleanliness does promote togetherness, as people look forward to coming to such homes that are well-planned, beautiful, and systematically organized.

 280.

 281.
Improves Quality Of Life

 282.

 283.
Clutter-free spaces become possible to achieve when you have replaced the bulkier, noisier, and useless items with their sophisticated, upgraded versions. Thus, you experience a better-quality living style when such items are kept organized.

 284.

 285.
Concentration

 286.

 287.
When you are working in a well-organized space, you can concentrate on your tasks better. You have fewer distractions around, and the mind works faster when all things taking up the area are meaningful and contributing to the job’s completion. With the best things in reach and arranged orderly, the mind finds it easier to pay attention and stay glued to the job.

 303.

A cubicle partition is a commonly used structure in offices to separate employees and managers to achieve high productivity levels. These partitions make it possible for every office employee to have their own private working space to focus and get work done more efficiently. But if you are moving office spaces, these partitions can be hard to take down and haul out. If you’re an office manager, you should consider working with a junk removal company to carry out this task so you can avoid any possible problems.

 304.
Here are some things to keep in mind while removing office cubicle partitions:

 305.
1. Assessment

 306.
The first thing to consider while removing office cubicle partitions is evaluating the construction type and how many panels are involved to make sure the partitions can’t damage anything while being removed. It is also necessary to ensure that all cords, wires, and plugs are properly disconnected as well. An office cubicle uses rods, screws, springs, and other accessories when they are put together, so evaluating them will help the process move along smoothly.

 307.
2. Removing Built-In Features

 308.
Some office cubicles have attached desks or shelving, and those should be disassembled and removed before taking the partitions down. Offices should consider removing the desk by going under it with tools and unscrewing the panels before taking the partition down.

 309.
3. Begin With The Exterior Panels

 310.
An office cubicle will usually have a middle desk that holds the sides together, so it is essential to know the connection of outer panels in detail to remove screws, springs, latches, or other accessories before taking apart any other piece. If you unscrew the exterior panels first and then move towards the middle panel, the rest will come much easier.

 311.
4. Removing Panels From Connector Rail

 312.
Some office cubicles come with a connector rail attachment on the floor, and offices should consider removing this piece next. It is wise to use a wrench to loosen the panels to take everything apart correctly. If there is no bolt then, you can pry the panel with a screwdriver.

 313.
5. Working With A Professional Company

 314.
Offices needing to remove their cubicles should consider working with a professional junk removal company. Junk removal company teams are professionally trained in removing large items like office cubicles without causing any damage. G.I. Junk Away is a professional junk removal company that serves Fallbrook, CA and surrounding areas. 328.

Are you renovating your home? Or trying to create something new out of your old cabinets? Then you are at the right place! When it comes to removing old cabinets, this can be a challenging task for some homeowners. If you want to dispose of old cabinets, working with an expert junk hauling team can benefit the process. Junk removal companies can create feasible ways to remove old cabinets with high safety measures to prevent damages and unnecessary repairs.

 329.
Here are some guidelines to follow when it comes to old cabinet disposal:

 330.
1. Selling Old Cabinets

 331.
If you have considered getting rid of your old cabinets, you can sell them online easily, which will save time and help you earn some extra cash. However, it is necessary to make sure that the cabinets are in good condition before selling them. This will help reach potential customers as soon as possible.

 332.
2. Donating

 333.
Donating the whole cabinet piece or parts of the cabinet can benefit the owner and the donation center. Research donation centers in your area to find a company that is willing to accept old or used cabinet pieces. Some donation centers that might accept used cabinets are businesses, schools, construciton companies, and charity centers.

 334.
3. Reusing

 335.
Customers willing to dispose of their old cabinets can visit schools and or businesses that may need cabinets or cabinet parts. Using old cabinets for DIY projects is also a great way to reuse or recycle these pieces.

 336.
4. Reinstalling Old Cabinets

 337.
Homeowners can reinstall old cabinets in laundry rooms and other places in their home when they want to remove them. It also gives ways to create more spaces enabling people to store a variety of things.

 338.
5. Visiting A Scrap Dealer

 339.
Nowadays, scrap dealers accept old cabinets, allowing customers to dispose of them without any difficulties. It is advisable to visit scrap yards or contact them over the phone to learn the disposal options properly. In most cases, scrap dealers present techniques to remove used cabinets with safety measures to minimize unwanted obstacles.

 340.
6. Giving Old Cabinets To Others

 341.
People should ask their friends and relatives to see whether they need any cabinets to help accomplish goals in a disposal project. This, in turn, paves ways to remove the cabinets as soon as possible, and a friend in need will be appreciative of your donation.

 342.
7. Hiring Junk Removal Services

 343.
A junk removal company will work closely with customers to learn their requirements regarding cabinet disposal. It is wise to seek support from a licensed and insured company that follows the best practices.

It also gives ways to plan everything enabling people to enjoy the New Year with their family and others.

 361.
Here are some tips to follow to start the New Year with a clean condition:

 364.
2. Sorting The Things

 365.
Although several items have their sentimental values, one should consider finding at least a few things that are not necessary. Furthermore, it allows a person to know the disposal options, paving ways to ensure peace of mind. Some of them include donation, recycling, and reusing that can protect the environment from potential threats.

 366.
3. Clearing Out Unwanted Items

 367.
A homeowner should consider clearing out unwanted items after separating them. Apart from that, it is necessary to place containers and bins for storing them accordingly. This, in turn, paves ways to meet exact needs in the junk removal process to get complete satisfaction.

 368.
4. Cleaning The Storage Spaces

It is imperative to clear unwanted items from closets, storage units, shed, and garage that can help increase the spaces. Apart from that, it enables property owners to dispose of waste products without any hassles.

 370.
5. Selling Old Products Online
