El Felino will wrestle Rey Bucanero in hair versus hair at the 92nd Anniversary show on September 19 in Arena Mexico.

 55.
Felino and Bucanero also have history with each other in hair versus hair matches. Felino won Bucanero’s hair in a 10-man cage match in 2011 at the 78th Anniversary show. Bucanero got his payback taking Felino’s hair in a 10-man cage match in 2014 at Infierno en el Ring. 77.
Despite the controversy, The Infantry will look to add gold to Shane Taylor’s collection when they face The Sons of Texas in the Lone Star State on the eve of All In.

Shane Taylor Promotions already has one champion within the group. Now, they are a step closer to winning more gold.

 78.
The Infantry (Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo) wrestled Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin) for the #1 contender spot to challenge the Sons of Texas (Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara) for the ROH World Tag Team Championship at Supercard of Honor on July 11.

 79.
The #1 contender bout went down on episode 123 of ROH TV. Outside activity was popping with Shane Taylor, Lee Moriarty, Trish Adora, and Leila Grey ringside. After a few distractions from Adora, Grey saw enough and brawled up the ramp. Meanwhile, Darius scored a roll-up, but Dean kicked out hard to send his opponent into the ropes. That’s where Moriarty used his Pure title belt as a weapon to hit Darius in the head. Dean picked up the easy pin to win, and the Infantry are heading for the tag title shot at Supercard of Honor.

 206.
As mentioned, this list doesn’t include WWE’s Speed Titles. Days before winning the NXT Women’s North American crown, Sol Ruca defeated Candice LeRae in April to capture the Women’s Speed Title. Then, on Cinco de Mayo, El Grande Americano continued his dominance over luchadores by snagging the Men’s Speed Title from Dragon Lee.

 207.
Over on Tubi, where WWE Evolve resides, Jackson Drake and Kali Armstrong were recently crowned Evolve men’s and women’s champions, respectively.

 208.
In total, that’s 37 title changes since New Year's Day. That includes five title changes within the first two weeks of the year. But it’s the seven-day period starting on WrestleMania weekend that takes the cake.

 209.
From April 19 to 25, 11 new champions were crowned across NXT and WWE’s main roster, with eight title changes packed between Stand & Deliver and a two-day WrestleMania. Overall, April had the most title changes with a baker’s dozen.

 210.
In the immortal word of Ron Simmons, “DAMN!”

 211.
With 21 active titles — and more on the way — it’s no surprise we’re seeing a whirlwind of title changes. While WWE’s loaded roster might justify having all that gold, at some point, it starts to feel like they’re handing out participation trophies. And when championships flip this often, the impact of crowning a new champ loses its punch.

 212.
Whoever said “less is more” nailed it. Too bad no one in WWE seems to have heard that. While a reduction of championships isn’t likely to happen, here’s hoping for fewer swaps and longer, more meaningful reigns. Because, really, titles should feel like a prize, not a hot potato.

 232.
TNA’s July 20 PPV will feature Knockouts champ Masha Slammovich against... whoever emerges from next weekend’s Great American Bash with the WWE NXT Women’s belt.

One wrestler is walking out of TNA Slammiversary with both the Knockouts Championship and the NXT Women’s Championship. The question is who.

 233.
TNA announced that Masha Slamovich will compete against either Jacy Jayne or Jordynne Grace in a winner take all title versus title matchup. Santino Marella and Arianna Grace revealed the historic bout.

 241.
Masha Slamovich handled her business on Impact (July 3, 2025) to secure the Slammiversary bout. She battled Killer Kelly in a chain match for the Knockouts Championship. It was a slower paced physical contest. Both competitors exchanged finishers in the Angel’s Wings for Kelly and the Snow Plow for Slamovich, but neither move could earn the win. Slamovich prevailed by using the chain to choke out Kelly.

 262.
 263.
 264.

 265.
Even though Jayne is the one picking a fight on Impact, this announcement doesn’t necessarily guarantee her win at Evolution. Slamovich has stories with both Jayne and Grace that would satisfy the TNA fans at Slammiversary.

 266.
Slamovich previously beat Jayne to retain the Knockouts Championship, and that’s why Jayne is back for revenge.

 268.
Slamovich’s reign started by taking the Knockouts Championship from Grace. They’ve had enough wars over the years in TNA that another round would be hotly anticipated.

 269.

 291.
In an interview promoting All In Texas, the company’s owner and head booker also spoke possibly rebranding ROH as ‘AEW: Ring of Honor’.

It’s a holiday weekend, but that won’t stop the media blitz for AEW’s All In Texas PPV next weekend in Arlington’s Globe Life Field. That’s why we have a new interview with company owner, president & head of creative Tony Khan from Dallas/Fort Worth’s WFAA to discuss this Fourth of July (it came out yesterday, actually, but work with me here... it’s a holiday).

 292.
In nearly 15 minute video, Khan is asked about more than just the big stadium show next Saturday.

 293.
He addressed the possibility of AEW adding a third weekly show to replace Rampage, which wrapped up at the end of last year. As a wrestling promoter, Khan of course would “never say never”. But like most observers and critics seem to agree (and since talk of a series called “Shockwave” on FOX turned out to be “only a pitch and a theory”), the boss is happy with how things are going with just Dynamite and Collision every week:

 295.
“I think we’ve done a great job in 2025 focusing now on the two primary AEW shows that we’re doing, which are Wednesday Night Dynamite and Saturday Night Collision.

 296.
“There’s always potential to expand the AEW programming calendar. Right now, things have worked really well with Dynamite and Collision. But as we’re having a great year, it’s always something to consider. There’s definitely an opportunity to continue growing the AEW media rights, continuing to grow and develop new platforms for AEW. But certainly in 2025 right now, we’re feeling great about Wednesday Night Dynamite and Saturday Night Collision as the primary TV shows today.”

 297.

 298.
It was a similar sort of answer when Khan was asked about AEW possibly running state-sponsored shows like the extremely lucrative ones WWE does for Saudi Arabia several times each year:

 299.

“Well, it depends on the situation, I think. You know, it’s all about the details. So it would have to be a deal that made sense for that territory and especially for us here at AEW.”

 300.
So you can probably generally guess how Khan responded when asked for an update on an idea he’s floated in the past — renaming the other wrestling brand he owns to “AEW: Ring of Honor”. It’s something TK’s previously said would “only help grow the ROH brand” and “be good for everybody” by helping fans “see more of the connectivity that exists between promotions and what we’re going for”.

 301.
Seems he still thinks that, but he still isn’t committing to the idea:

 302.

 303.
“I still think there’s a great chance to develop ROH. We really have done a lot of work to develop ROH. They are unique companies, structurally. I think that does make a lot of sense, and I still think there’s merit to that, but there are also a lot of reasons why I’ve positioned [ROH] the way I have. Ring of Honor, I still think we have a chance to strike at great opportunities.

 304.
“AEW has made huge media rights deals that have changed the landscape for all wrestling companies, including ROH, and any deal we do, it’s got to make really good sense for everyone involved, including us at ROH and also AEW. So, that is something I’ve considered... Right now, I think we’ve done a great job positioning the company as leaders, with leading champions like Athena and Bandido.”

 305.

 324.

 325.
 326.
Technically, it was on the Kickoff show in 2018. Regardless, we’re excited for this one because we’ve never seen a bad match between Mustafa Ali and Cedric Alexander.

After Cedric Alexander debuted last week to confront Mustafa Ali, TNA is taking a page from WWE to book a WrestleMania rematch at Slammiversary.

 327.
Order 4 is currently in disarray after Ali’s unhinged attitude has turned the group against him. Tasha Steelz reached out to Alexander to talk sense into Ali. That didn’t work last week, so she tried again this week on Impact (July 3, 2025).

 328.
Steelz wanted both men in the ring to talk out their issues. Alexander looks at Ali as an angry, bitter person that isn’t the Ali he calls a brother. They were the heart and soul of 205 Live and carried the cruiserweight division to WrestleMania 34. Alexander is in TNA to help his friend.

 329.
Ali shot back that he doesn’t want Alexander’s help. He accused Alexander of stealing his WrestleMania moment by winning the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. If Alexander really wants to help, then give Ali the rematch.

 330.
Alexander reiterated that he isn’t here for hostility, however, he won’t hesitate to beat Ali’s ass again.

 331.
Ali went for a sucker punch. Alexander evaded the strike to pop Ali in the kisser. Ali’s secret service swarmed the ring. Order 4 helped Alexander clean house for the Lumber Check (backbreaker).

 368.
The show’s rating was up slightly on July 2, but both the overall audience and demo numbers were among the show’s lowest of the past couple months.

The TV ratings and viewership data are in for AEW Dynamite 300 on July 2.

 369.
Per Programming Insider, 584,000 tuned into the anniversary edition of Dynamite on TBS, where it drew a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 year old demographic. The overall audience dipped 5% from the previous week, and is the show’s smallest in a month-and-a-half. The rating was up a little more than 6%, but is still among Dynamite’s lowest of the past few months.

 370.
It’s a holiday week in the states, but Tony Khan and company were likely hoping to start Q3 off with growth in both categories — especially after TK boasted about the recent ratings growth of AEW’s shows.

 371.

 372.

 376.
 377.

 378.
But those are quarterly averages, so Dynamite has 11 more weeks to bring Q3’s up and continue the trend.

 379.
Competition did come from more than just pre-Fourth of July activities and distractions, too. It wasn’t the NBA Finals or Monday Night Football or anything, but there were other live options on our screens. FS1’s coverage of the U.S.’s victory over Guatemala in the CONACAF Gold Cup semi-final was the top rated show on Wednesday night, scoring a .40 from 1.24 million viewers. The baseball game between the Cleveland Guardians and Chicago Cubs on ESPN finished second with a .28 from an audience of 1.1 million. Dynamite finished eighth on cable in the demo, behind soccer, baseball, Holmes Family Rescue on HGTV, and a bunch of Fox News programs.

 380.
Next week is the go home for All In Texas, AEW’s most important show of the year (and their latest “biggest in company history” event). We’ll see if that episode can nudge this quarter’s averages up on a busy week of pro wrestling.

 381.
Here’s a breakdown of AEW Dynamite television viewership and rating in the 18-49 demo over the last year:
