62.
Theme: Emotions and Spiritual Maturity.

 63.
For you are still [unspiritual, having the nature] of the flesh [under the control of ordinary impulses]. For as long as [there are] envying and jealousy and wrangling and factions among you, are you not unspiritual and of the flesh, behaving yourselves after a human standard and like mere (unchanged) men?

 64.
1 Corinthians 3:3 (AMPC)
65. Paul teaches in today’s scripture that we are unspiritual if we are controlled by ordinary human impulses, such as emotions and feelings. Are you in control of your emotions, or do they control you? Feelings are fickle and ever-changing, and thus unreliable. I believe the number one way the enemy harasses and tries to hinder Christians is through our emotions.

 66.
We cannot always control how we feel, but we can control what we do. Mature Christians don’t walk by feelings; they order their conduct according to God’s Word. Emotions are fueled by our thoughts and words, so it is necessary to pay attention to what we think and say if we hope to walk by the Spirit instead of our emotions. What is right doesn’t change just because we don’t feel like doing it. People who are spiritually mature live beyond their feelings and do God’s will no matter how they feel.

 67.
Paul specifically mentions jealousy and factions (dissension or strife) as indicators of a lack of spiritual maturity. Ask God to help you in these areas. Be content with what you have, not jealous of others, knowing that God will give you more when the time is right. Do your best to live in peace with all people.

 68.
Prayer of the Day: Lord, help me to control my emotions and live according to Your Word. Help me continue to grow in spiritual maturity and live in peace.

 86.

Navigating Relationships: Insights from Joel Osteen’s Sermon “Fake Friends”

 87.
In his sermon titled “Fake Friends,” Pastor Joel Osteen delves into the complexities of relationships, emphasizing the importance of discerning genuine friendships from those that may hinder our spiritual and personal growth. Drawing from biblical principles, he offers guidance on how to identify and distance oneself from relationships that are not aligned with God’s purpose for our lives.

 88.
Understanding the Impact of Relationships

 89.
Pastor Osteen highlights that the company we keep significantly influences our journey. He notes that while some friends uplift and encourage us, others may subtly lead us away from our divine path. It’s crucial to evaluate our relationships and ensure they contribute positively to our lives.

 90.
“True friends bring peace. True friends bring joy. Sometimes the reason you’re not seeing true friends is because you’re holding on to the wrong friends.”

 91.
Identifying ‘Fake Friends’

 92.
In the sermon, Pastor Osteen provides insights into recognizing relationships that may be detrimental:

 93.
Consistent Negativity: Friends who constantly criticize or belittle can erode self-esteem.

 94.
Lack of Support: Those who are absent during challenging times may not have our best interests at heart.

 95.
Jealousy and Competition: Friends who are envious of our successes can create a toxic environment.

 96.
He encourages believers to seek relationships that foster growth, positivity, and alignment with God’s will.

 97.
Embracing God’s Plan for Our Relationships

 98.
Pastor Osteen reminds us that God desires for us to have meaningful and supportive relationships. By letting go of detrimental connections, we make room for the right people to enter our lives—those who will walk with us in faith and purpose.

 120.

Embracing Change with Courage: Insights from Joyce Meyer’s “The Courage to Change”

 121.
In her recent Enjoying Everyday Life message, “The Courage to Change,” Joyce Meyer offers a profound exploration of how believers can navigate life’s inevitable transitions with faith and resilience. Drawing from personal experiences and biblical truths, she provides practical guidance for embracing change as a pathway to spiritual growth.

 122.
Understanding the Nature of Change

 123.
Joyce emphasizes that change is an integral part of life. She candidly shares personal anecdotes, illustrating that transformation is often a gradual process. Referencing Romans 8:28, she reassures listeners that God orchestrates all things for the good of those who love Him, even amidst uncertainty.

 124.
“Change is a process, and sometimes it’s a longer one than we would like it to be.”

 125.
Confronting Fear with Faith

 126.
Acknowledging that change can be daunting, Joyce encourages believers to face their fears head-on. She asserts that courage isn’t the absence of fear but the decision to move forward despite it. By trusting in God’s plan, we can overcome apprehension and step into new seasons with confidence.

 127.
“Be courageous and face change boldly, believing that no matter what has happened, God can work good out of it.”

 128.
Shifting Mindsets for Transformation

 129.
A central theme in the sermon is the power of mindset. Joyce advises listeners to adopt a positive outlook, viewing change not as a threat but as an opportunity for growth. By aligning our thoughts with God’s promises, we can experience peace and joy, even in the midst of transition.

 130.
“Change your attitude. Ask God to help you change your attitude. And don’t be negative about it.”

 131.
Biblical Foundations

 132.
Throughout her message, Joyce anchors her insights in Scripture, reinforcing the idea that God’s Word provides the strength and guidance needed during times of change. She encourages believers to delve into the Bible, finding solace and direction in its timeless truths.

 133.
The Courage to Change | Enjoying Everyday Life | Joyce Meyer

 134.
Joyce Meyer’s “The Courage to Change” serves as a timely reminder that while change is inevitable, our response determines its impact. By embracing change with faith, courage, and a renewed mindset, we align ourselves with God’s transformative work in our lives.

 153.
In his recent sermon titled “Whatever God Commands,” Bishop T.D. Jakes delves into the profound power of unity and obedience to God’s directives. Drawing inspiration from Psalm 133, he emphasizes that God’s blessings and favor flow abundantly where He commands them to go, particularly in environments marked by harmony and collective purpose.
154. Sermons Online

 155.
Key Themes from the Sermon

 156.
1. The Power of Unity

 157.
Bishop Jakes underscores that when believers come together in unity, the anointing of God flows freely. This collective harmony becomes a conduit for manifestations, miracles, and breakthroughs. He highlights that unity is not merely a social concept but a spiritual principle that attracts God’s presence and power.

 158.
2. Obedience to Divine Commands

 159.
The sermon stresses the importance of adhering to God’s commands. Bishop Jakes points out that God’s power, blessing, and favor are directed by His commands, and when we align ourselves with His will, we position ourselves to receive these divine provisions.

 160.
3. Transition and Leadership

 161.
A significant moment in the sermon was the affirmation of Pastors Touré Roberts and Sarah Jakes Roberts as the new Senior Pastors of The Potter’s House. This transition marks a new chapter in the church’s journey, emphasizing the importance of obedience to God’s direction in leadership and the continuation of His work through successive generations.

 162.
Scriptural Foundation

 163.
The sermon is anchored in Psalm 133:1-3 (KJV):

 164.
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! … for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life forevermore.”

 165.
This passage illustrates that unity among believers is not only pleasing to God but also a place where He commands His blessings.

 166.
A Call to Action

 167.
Bishop Jakes’ message is a clarion call for believers to pursue unity and obedience. He challenges the congregation to resist division and to stand firm in the places where God has positioned them. By doing so, they become vessels through which God’s power and blessings can flow, impacting not only their lives but also the broader community.

 187.
In this enlightening sermon, “Knowing a Loving God,” Dr. David Jeremiah delves into the profound nature of God’s love, emphasizing its selfless, sacrificial, and unconditional characteristics. This message serves as a reminder that understanding God’s love is foundational to our faith and relationship with Him.

 188.
God’s Love: Unconditional and Transformative

 189.
Dr. Jeremiah highlights that God’s love is not based on our merits or actions. Referencing John 3:16, he underscores that God’s love is so immense that He gave His only Son for our salvation. This love is not earned; it’s a gift that accepts us as we are, yet transforms us through grace.

 190.
“God loves us because He loves us. It is His nature. God is love.”

 191.
The Surpassing Quality of God’s Love

 192.
The sermon emphasizes the word “so” in “God so loved the world,” illustrating the depth and intensity of God’s love. This small word encompasses the agony of the cross, the richness of grace, and the vastness of His mercy. God’s love is not just a feeling; it’s an action that led to the ultimate sacrifice.

 193.
Responding to God’s Love

 194.
Understanding God’s love compels us to respond with love and obedience. Dr. Jeremiah encourages believers to embrace this love, allowing it to transform their lives and relationships. By doing so, we not only experience personal growth but also reflect God’s love to others.

 217.

Joseph Prince Sermon : Faith To Win Every Battle :

 218.
Faith to Win Every Battle: A Reflection on Joseph Prince’s Sermon.

 219.
In this sermon “Faith to Win Every Battle”, Pastor Joseph Prince delivers a compelling message on how believers can overcome life’s challenges through faith and right believing. Drawing from biblical narratives and practical insights, he emphasizes that victory is not achieved through personal effort but by trusting in God’s finished work.

 220.
Victory Through Right Believing

 221.
Pastor Prince underscores that the foundation of triumph in any battle lies in believing rightly about Jesus and His accomplishments. Referencing Romans 5:19, he highlights that it is through Jesus’ obedience, not our own, that we are made righteous. This perspective shifts the focus from self-effort to reliance on Christ’s completed work, fostering a mindset of victory rather than defeat.

 222.
“By one man’s obedience many were made righteous.”
223. — Romans 5:19

 224.
Feeding is Fighting

 225.
A unique insight from the sermon is the correlation between feeding on God’s Word and engaging in spiritual warfare. Pastor Prince explains that in Hebrew, the words for “feed” and “fight” share the same root, illustrating that nourishing oneself with Scripture is a form of combat against life’s adversities. This approach encourages believers to immerse themselves in God’s promises, thereby strengthening their faith and resilience.

 226.
“We don’t fight by fighting. We fight by feeding on God’s Word!”
227. — Joseph Prince

 228.
The Battle is the Lord’s

 229.
Central to the sermon is the declaration that “The battle is the Lord’s.” Pastor Prince draws from the story of David and Goliath, emphasizing that David’s victory was not due to his might but because he trusted in God. This principle teaches that by surrendering our battles to God and trusting in His power, we can experience true victory.

 230.
“The battle is not yours, but God’s.”
231. — 2 Chronicles 20:15

 232.
Faith in Action

 233.
Pastor Prince encourages believers to maintain a good opinion of God, even before witnessing the manifestation of victory. He cites the example of Joshua and Caleb, who, despite facing formidable giants, trusted in God’s promise and were eventually rewarded. This teaches that unwavering faith, even in the face of adversity, positions us for God’s deliverance.

 234.
“Faith is having a good opinion of God even before you see the victory.”
235. — Joseph Prince

 236.
Resting in God’s Finished Work

 237.
The sermon concludes with an invitation to rest in the assurance that God has already secured victory on our behalf. By focusing on Jesus and His finished work, believers can navigate life’s challenges with peace and confidence, knowing that the outcome is in God’s hands.

 257.
Today’s Word

 258.
Jesus had stopped and was waiting at a well in Samaria when a woman came to get water. He asked her for something to drink. She said, “Sir, Jews don’t have anything to do with us Samaritans. Why are You asking me?” Jesus said, “If you knew who I am, you’d ask and I would give you living water.” Then he told her all about her life, how she had had five husbands and was living with a sixth man. There’s no doubt that people looked down on her and shamed her. She knew there was something special about Jesus. She said, “We know that one day the Messiah will come.” Jesus said to her, “I AM the Messiah.” The first person Jesus ever told that He was the Savior wasn’t the high priest or the Sanhedrin. He chose this despised woman whom society had written off as a moral failure. God doesn’t choose the way we choose. He never writes you off. He never gives up on you. His calling on your life is irrevocable, which means He doesn’t change His mind.

 259.
Prayer For Today

 260.
“Father, thank You that You chose me to be Yours before I chose You and that my mistakes and failures cannot nullify Your calling. Thank You that You come to the well where I am to give me eternal life even though You know everything about me. I declare that You are my Messiah. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

 370. Thank You for ushering me into this brand-new month. I exalt You for Your mercy, grace, and unfailing love that sustained me through the past months. Lord, I sanctify the month of May by the blood of Jesus. Let this month bring forth divine alignment, supernatural breakthroughs, peace, favor, and joy.

 371.
I invite Your presence into every day of this month. Go before me, O Lord, and level every mountain. Let Your angels encamp around me and my family. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against me in judgment is condemned.

 372.
Father, order my steps in Your Word. Deliver me from evil, protect my health, guide my decisions, and bless the work of my hands. Let May 2025 bring testimonies of Your goodness and grace.

 373.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
