The study explores the potential for mobile games to raise awareness about social justice issues, such as climate change, gender equality, and human rights, by engaging players in interactive, narrative-driven activism. By drawing on theories of participatory media and political communication, the research analyzes how game mechanics can be used to simulate real-world social challenges, promote empathy, and encourage collective action. The paper also discusses the ethical challenges of gamifying serious issues and the risks of oversimplification or exploitation of activism.</p><p>This study explores the impact of augmented reality (AR) technology on player immersion and interaction in mobile games. The research examines how AR, which overlays digital content onto the physical environment, enhances gameplay by providing more interactive, immersive, and contextually rich experiences. Drawing on theories of presence, immersion, and user experience, the paper investigates how AR-based games like Pokémon GO and Ingress engage players in real-world exploration, socialization, and competition. The portability and convenience of mobile devices have transformed downtime into playtime, allowing gamers to indulge their passion anytime, anywhere, with a tap of their fingertips.</p><p>This research examines the psychological effects of time-limited events in mobile games, which often include special challenges, rewards, and limited-time offers. The study explores how event-based gameplay influences player motivation, urgency, and spending behavior. Drawing on behavioral psychology and concepts such as loss aversion and temporal discounting, the paper investigates how time-limited events create a sense of scarcity and urgency that may lead to increased player engagement, as well as potential negative consequences such as compulsive behavior or gaming addiction. The research also evaluates how well-designed time-limited events can enhance player experiences without exploiting players’ emotional vulnerabilities.</p><p>This study examines the political economy of mobile game development, focusing on the labor dynamics, capital flows, and global supply chains that underpin the mobile gaming industry. The research investigates how outsourcing, labor exploitation, and the concentration of power in the hands of large multinational corporations shape the development and distribution of mobile games. Drawing on Marxist economic theory and critical media studies, the paper critiques the economic models that drive the mobile gaming industry and offers a critical analysis of the ethical, social, and
