Drawing on community-building theories and participatory culture, the paper investigates the challenges and benefits of incorporating UGC features into mobile games, including the technical, social, and legal considerations. The study also evaluates the potential for UGC to drive game evolution and extend the lifespan of mobile games by continually introducing fresh content.</p>
