Drawing on theories of presence, immersion, and user experience, the paper investigates how AR-based games like Pokémon GO and Ingress engage players in real-world exploration, socialization, and competition. The study also considers the challenges of implementing AR in mobile games, including hardware limitations, spatial awareness, and player safety, and provides recommendations for developers seeking to optimize AR experiences for mobile game audiences.</p><p>This paper applies systems thinking to the design and analysis of mobile games, focusing on how game ecosystems evolve and function within the broader network of players, developers, and platforms. The study examines the interdependence of game mechanics, player interactions, and market dynamics in the creation of digital ecosystems within mobile games. By analyzing the emergent properties of these ecosystems, such as in-game economies, social hierarchies, and community-driven content, the paper highlights the role of mobile games in shaping complex digital networks. The research proposes a systems thinking framework for understanding the dynamics of mobile game design and its long-term effects on player behavior, game longevity, and developer innovation.</p><p>This study investigates the privacy and data security issues associated with mobile gaming, focusing on data collection practices, user consent, and potential vulnerabilities. It proposes strategies for enhancing data protection and ensuring user privacy.</p><p>The debate surrounding the potential impact of violent video games on behavior continues to spark discussions and research within the gaming community and beyond. While some studies suggest a correlation between exposure to violent content and aggressive tendencies, the nuanced relationship between media consumption, psychological factors, and real-world behavior remains a topic of ongoing study and debate.</p><p>This research explores the intersection of mobile gaming and behavioral economics, focusing on how in-game purchases influence player decision-making. The study analyzes common behavioral biases, such as the “anchoring effect” and “loss aversion,” that developers exploit to encourage spending.
