  72. <p class="mol-para-with-font">More than 8,000 pounds of frozen meat pizza distributed up and down the northeat has been recalled for containing a potentially deadly allergen.</p>
  73. <p class="mol-para-with-font">Pizzas from Vermont-based food producer 802 VT Frozen distributed pizzas to gorcery stores that contained soy even though they were not labeled as such, potentially putting many consumers at risk of anaphylaxis.</p>
  74. <p>The pizzas were sent to grocery stores in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont.<span style="font-size: 16px;"> </span></p>
  75. <p class="mol-para-with-font">People who bought them are encouraged to dispose of or return for refund any pizzas with a ‘best if used by’ date range between April 25, 2024, and April 25, 2025.</p>
  76. <p class="mol-para-with-font">Soy is a common food allergy that most affects children &#8211; and eating it can result in symptoms such as hives, vomiting, wheezing, and diarrhea or, in rare cases, anaphylaxis, which is a potentially life threatening reaction.</p>

  83. <p class="mol-para-with-font">Around 50 million Americans are estimated to have some kind of food allergy, and soy allergies are found in around 0.4 percent of children. </p>
  84. <p class="mol-para-with-font">Most will outgrow the allergy, but some, though it’s not known how many, will have the allergy into adulthood.</p>
  85. <p class="mol-para-with-font">A report from the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology has found that 45 percent of people experience the onset of at least one food allergy after the age of 17. </p>
  86. <p class="mol-para-with-font">The pizzas from 802 VT Frozen come in 17.8-oz. cardboard box containing &#8220;802 VT Frozen MEAT!!! CRISPY WOOD-FIRED CRUST HAND MADE PIZZA&#8221; on the front.</p>
  87. <p class="mol-para-with-font">The boxes of pizzas impacted by the recall will be stamped ‘EST. 46308’ inside the USDA mark of inspection.</p>
  88. <p class="mol-para-with-font">They mislabeled pizzas were detected by the Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) which, during routine verification activities, found that the product contained soy despite the label not including the ingredient.</p>
  89. <p class="mol-para-with-font">According to the USDA: ‘There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of this product. Anyone concerned about an illness should contact a healthcare provider.’</p>
  90. <p class="mol-para-with-font">While there were no reported illnesses or allergic reactions tied to the pizzas, the mislabeling can erode public trust.</p>
  91. <p class="mol-para-with-font">And while recalls indicate the food safety system is working, they come well after many of the recalled products have been purchased. What’s more, many people may not hear about the recall, unless they’re glued to the news or the FDA’s or USDA’s news releases.</p>
  92. <p class="mol-para-with-font">Over 300 food recalls were issued in 2023, and almost half were caused by undisclosed allergens on packaging, such as nuts, sesame, and wheat.</p>
  93. <p class="mol-para-with-font">These are the highest levels the U.S. has recorded since the beginning of the pandemic. Contaminated or mislabeled food resulted in six deaths and more than 1,100 illnesses that year.</p>

  149. <p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;I had a distinctive sound that people could recognize and I stuck pretty much with that. I&#8217;m not one of the best technical players by any means; I just sell the best,&#8217; he told The Associated Press in a 1986 interview. </p>

  254. <p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;I feel very uncomfortable with it. I get the whole premise of forgiveness and chances, he&#8217;s had a number of chances with his alleged behaviour,&#8217; Bartel said on Nine&#8217;s Footy Classified show.</p>
  255. <p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;But at some stage there&#8217;s got to be a fork in the road, because the forgiveness angle hasn&#8217;t worked. The numbers are actually getting worse.</p>

  355. <p class="mol-para-with-font">The Home Office said 711 people made the journey in 14 boats on Wednesday, suggesting an average of 51 people per boat.</p>
  356. <p class="mol-para-with-font">It takes the provisional total for the number of arrivals this year so far to 8,278.</p>
  357. <p class="mol-para-with-font">Channel crossings had already hit a new record high for the first four months of a calendar year, jumping 34% on 2023 when 6,192 were recorded and up 19% on the total at this stage in 2022 (6,945).</p>
  358. <p class="mol-para-with-font">Last year 29,437 migrants arrived in the UK, down 36% on a record 45,774 arrivals in 2022.</p>
  359. <p class="mol-para-with-font">Since the Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Act became law after receiving Royal Assent on Thursday last week, 1,611 migrants have made the journey in 32 boats.</p>

  469. <p>Royal commentator Ephraim Hardcastle wrote in The Daily Mail: &#8220;Harry&#8217;s failure to wear his father&#8217;s Coronation medal wasn&#8217;t intended as a snub to the King.</p>
  470. <p>&#8220;My source whispers that the medal was &#8216;swing-mounted&#8217; on a short ribbon and needed to be sent to a specialist to affix to a longer ribbon and mount on a hard backing to stop it from swinging around.</p>

When being asked about whether the ambition would really cost £46billion, Mr Sunak’s spokesman suggested the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) watchdog could not yet put a number on the long-term plan.</p>

  582. <p>“That’s a question for the OBR which will assess policies as and when they are announced at future fiscal events.”</p>

  791. <p class="mol-para-with-font">She suffered her first heartbreaking loss in 2012, finding the strength to speak out about it publicly eight years later in 2020. </p>
  792. <p class="mol-para-with-font">The reality star did not realise she was pregnant at the time, said that the baby &#8216;died in front of her&#8217; after giving birth at home on her landing.</p>
  793. <p class="mol-para-with-font">Speaking on her own podcast, Gemma said: &#8216;I&#8217;ve had some shocking things happen to me, I&#8217;m not sure I&#8217;ve spoken about this before.</p>
  794. <p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;But I actually gave birth to a child, sadly, and basically the child was four months old, basically I had a miscarriage but obviously the baby was formed and it died in front of me.&#8217;</p>
  795. <p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;I had to go to the hospital and my mum was there. I can remember my mum being really upset, I was in shock, I was upset.</p>
  796. <p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;That was really a shocking moment for me. But this is what I&#8217;m saying, I can talk about it now. Things sometimes are not meant to be.</p>
  797. <p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;I&#8217;ll never forget it, it was a very traumatising experience because I didn&#8217;t know I was pregnant and literally I remember waking up with severe pains and my mum said to me, &#8216;Gemma you need to go to the toilet,&#8217; and I was like, &#8216;Honey, this is not…&#8217;</p>
  798. <p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;I mean obviously I couldn&#8217;t describe… Look I try and find the bit of entertainment in this bad situation because I think that&#8217;s probably a coping mechanism of mine, I try to laugh or see a brighter side in things even though it was really traumatic.</p>
  799. <p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;But I can remember just being in utter shock. I&#8217;ve been through a lot so I feel in life, nothing shocks me.</p>
  800. <p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;So anything you could tell me now wouldn&#8217;t shock me because I&#8217;ve been through a lot and dealt with a lot but I&#8217;m grateful for those experiences because I can sit here today and relay them to other people.&#8217;</p>

  807. <p class="mol-para-with-font">Gemma suffered her second pregnancy loss in 2020 during the Covid pandemic. </p>
  808. <p class="mol-para-with-font">She spoke about the upsetting incident on an episode of Loose Women, explaining: &#8216;It was really difficult for me in isolation because, as you know, with my condition of PCOS, it&#8217;s not easy to fall pregnant and I did suffer a miscarriage which was really sad during the lockdown period.&#8217;</p>
  809. <p class="mol-para-with-font">She added: &#8216;I have suffered with it for the last 10 years. I started to gain weight when I was 28, my periods were all over the place. I&#8217;ve suffered miscarriages.</p>
  810. <p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;I did go through a very sad miscarriage in lockdown. Due to PCOS I just thought that I was having an unusually heavy period. I actually left it 10 days.&#8217;  </p>
  811. <p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;I can remember thinking the month before, &#8220;Ooh, my boobs seem really perky!&#8221; It&#8217;s been no secret recently that I&#8217;ve found my boobs so heavy in my life, I&#8217;m turning 40 this year, I will not be taking them into the next decade with me.&#8217;</p>
  812. <p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;So, I thought, &#8220;Oh, maybe I won&#8217;t have the operation, I&#8217;ve been working out, maybe they&#8217;re lifting up a bit.&#8221; Then 3 or 4 days into a heavy period really realising it&#8217;s not like a usual period… but thinking there&#8217;s been a lot going on lately, maybe my body&#8217;s been a bit stressed.&#8217;</p>
  813. <p class="mol-para-with-font">She explained it was her sister-in-law who advised her to seek medical attention, continuing: &#8216;It went on for 10 days between 9am and midday, I was getting through 10 super sanity towels. Then it was my sister-in-law, not to be graphic, but I had to show her.&#8217;</p>
  814. <p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;I said, &#8220;I don&#8217;t think this is normal&#8221;. I rang my doctor and he said, &#8220;You need to go straight to the hospital&#8221;. It was very sad. But it does make me realise that, potentially there is hope there for me for the future.&#8217;</p>

  821. <p class="mol-para-with-font">Tragically, just a few months later, Gemma suffered a third devastating miscarriage in July 2020 after falling pregnant with her ex-boyfriend James Argent&#8217;s baby. </p>
  822. <p class="mol-para-with-font">The TOWIE star spoke out about her heartbreaking loss after Meghan Markle announced she had lost her second child with Prince Harry. </p>
  823. <p class="mol-para-with-font">Speaking at the time, she said: &#8216;I&#8217;ve not talked about this before, but it was my third, each one a devastating loss on my longed-for journey to motherhood.</p>
  824. <p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;I&#8217;ve been trying to have a baby for nearly a decade now, only to have my hopes dashed time and again by first one miscarriage, then another.&#8217;</p>
  825. <p class="mol-para-with-font">In a poignant essay, Gemma detailed the beginning of her miscarriage and said she had no idea she was pregnant with on-off boyfriend Arg&#8217;s baby, before she started experiencing sharp cramps one morning.</p>
  826. <p class="mol-para-with-font">The reality star said she had dismissed the pains as a heavy period, and tried to push on through the excruciating pain, before her sister forced her to visit her doctor.</p>
  827. <p class="mol-para-with-font">After being sent to hospital, Gemma was given the tragic news that she had suffered a miscarriage. </p>
  828. <p class="mol-para-with-font">She continued: &#8216;In a single instant, I learned that I&#8217;d been carrying a baby and lost it, meaning that once again I found my longstanding dreams of motherhood shattered into pieces.&#8217;</p>
  829. <p class="mol-para-with-font">However, the star has refused to give up her dream of motherhood and said in November last year she was starting a new fertility journey.</p>
  830. <p class="mol-para-with-font">Speaking exclusively to MailOnline about her family plans, she revealed she was pleased to hear that Tana Ramsay had welcomed her sixth child at the age of 49, because it gave her hope that she too can conceive in her 40s. </p>
  831. <p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;The Tana Ramsay news was the greatest thing to wake up to. Incredible&#8217;, Gemma mused.   </p>
  832. <p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;It really made me think positively about my future and kind of took the pressure off. I don&#8217;t think anyone knew she was pregnant, so it was a lovely surprise, but I got butterflies in my stomach when I saw it.&#8217;</p>
  833. <p class="mol-para-with-font">Gemma continued: &#8216;This is amazing news for me. I&#8217;m starting my fertility journey within the next couple of weeks. </p>

  843. <p class="mol-para-with-font">During a spiritual trip to Tel Aviv in January, Gemma and her fiancé visited Bethlehem, with the star later confessing: &#8216;I did pray when I was there, I said &#8221;please God, please give me a baby this year&#8221; and you know please God it happens.&#8217; </p>
  844. <p class="mol-para-with-font">She previously detailed her battle with polycystic ovary syndrome battle (PCOS) which can affect fertility. </p>
  845. <p class="mol-para-with-font">Polycystic ovary syndrome is a hormonal disorder causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edges. Symptoms include menstrual irregularity, excess hair growth, acne, and obesity.</p>
