In fact, so good was Tripti’s over-oiled PR machinery at that point in time, that she actually got herself acknowledged as the new ‘National Crush’ — a title Rashmika held once. Though I have my reasons for doubting if it will help her in the long run, unless she understands all the core differences between hype, publicity and image-building and reinvents her PR strategy. ”</p><p>He adds, “But the fact is that Tripti snatched Rashmika’s glory under her nose in this round, proving that only fans and success are not enough in today’s world. This PR exercise also proved once again that brand value and narrative are different monsters, and its not everyone’s cup of tea to play the game of engineering brand value and manufacturing narrative.”</p><p>Woah! That was epic PR talk!</p><p>On prodding further Dale admits, “From the narrative point of view, I feel Rashmika will need to deftly take care of her position and positioning. As I look at it, she seems to be slipping in positioning, though very very slowly, and we are hardly noticing it for now.”</p><p>With a knowing smile, he adds, “This PR and perception game, though it being an illusion, can be a decisive factor in producers, funders and financers putting their money on certain actors and actresses, eventually resulting in the fluctuating numbers of the so-called rat race.”</p><h4><strong>Analyzing the Potential Impact</strong></h4><p>As Pragya Jaiswal gains momentum with her performances and growing popularity, the prospect of her challenging established stars like Rashmika Mandanna becomes a topic of interest. To play the part, Prithviraj had to gain and lose weight to show Najeeb’s physical transformation on screen. He gained 98 kilograms for playing the character in the starting sequences of the film with a potbelly and had to lose weight to 67 kilograms by the end of the film, even fainting once on the set. His performance will linger in your mind even after the credits roll.</p><ol start="2"><li><strong>Based on a True Story</strong></li></ol><p>The Goat Life is an adaptation of the 2008 Malayalam novel “Aadujeevitham” by Benyamin, which is based on the real-life story of Najeeb Muhammad, a Malayali immigrant laborer forced into slavery as a goatherd on a secluded farm in Saudi Arabia. The movie’s director, Blessy, wanted to adapt “Aadujeevitham” ever since he read the novel in 2008. Prithviraj was cast in the same year. It took almost 16 years for the project to come to the big screen.</p><ol start="3"><li><strong>Blessy’s Cinematic Vision Comes to Life</strong></li></ol><p>Blessy creates a world of utter helplessness and terror that a man has to undergo when he’s failed by society by beautifully portraying it through The Goat Life, the greatest survival adventure drama ever made. The national film award-winning director stays true to the source material, and every scene in the movie looks straight out of a dream. And we started the scene, it was fantastic, beautiful, and we were alone, and the jungle was massive. Suddenly, there were these two buses full of people, at least 150-200 people. All these people who were there, they were all nodding. The jungle, which was totally empty, suddenly had these 200 people, loud music, children, and three tables set up. There were massive utensils of biryani, and we were like, ‘what just happened and how?’” Fernandes added, “Just imagine, now when you watch this show, you will go back to that scene. It’s a beautiful scene, but then you will think of the chaotic scenario we had.”</p><p>When asked about which reality show, out of the ones he’s hosted, would Kundrra want to go on as a contestant, the actor answered, “I would definitely do Roadies because of the tasks, and that competitiveness, that ‘no guts, no glory’ kind of madness, adventure, travel, fun.” Fernandes added, “I would love to watch him on a cooking show where he’d be burning down the kitchen.”</p><p>When asked about the uniqueness of all the film industries she has worked in, Fernandes remarked, “Regional cinema has a little extra masala. TV is dramatic. Web (OTT) is realistic; everyone has a very different way of making content, and it’s always a nice thing to experience different working processes.”</p><p>When asked about the craziest thing they have done for their partner, Kundrra said, “With Tejasswi (Prakash), I don’t have to do crazy, massive things.
