More than 3,900 scouts and their leaders from more than 220 scouting units throughout New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania attended the event.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 18px;">On May 31 the Central Jersey Chapter of NJSPLS, under the direction of Alan Rissmiller worked with Jason Pierson, Kody Huffer, Jackson Pierson, Joe Lazok of East Coast Engineering, Brian McLaughlin of R .J. Burdick, Ken Frank and Don Cashour to stake out the campsites. Office calculations were provided by Tom Murphy of Paulus, Sokolowski & Sartor and Chris Irons of the Ocean County Engineering Department provided drafting of the plans. Also assisting with the project were Joseph Antonino of the Jersey Shore Council, BSA and Archer Jones of the New Jersey State Police. The following three days volunteers labeled the corners and numbered the campsites.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 18px;">This was the fifth Camporee to take place at the Sea Girt Training Center. The one scheduled for 2020 was cancelled due to the pandemic.
