The event was opened with a panel discussion between inspirational women, each of whom are leading women’s networks across EMEA: Karima Moudoub (IAMCP Europe D&amp;I and WIT Network France), Alexandra Hanke (WIT NETWORK Germany, IAMCP D&amp;I Germany), Elena Baeva (IAMCP D&amp;I International) and Lisa Davidian (GN Audio Women's Network). <br /><br />The discussion focused on the importance and power of diversity. Each of the women shared a viewpoint based on aspects of their personal experiences. <br /><br /></p><h5>Highlights from the panel discussion</h5><ul><li>Everyone is different and each of us, male and female, has a unique perspective to bring to every discussion – that’s what makes diverse networks so powerful. We can learn from each other and are better together. <i><span style="color: #1f497d;">“Uniqueness is important to diversity,”</span></i> said Lisa Davidian, with Karima Moudoub adding, <i><span style="color: #1f497d;">“Diversity is part of my DNA.”</span></i></li><li>The IT sector is broad and offers a myriad of opportunities for people, regardless of their gender. Said Elena Baeva, <span style="color: #1f497d;"><i>“From within IT I was able to see the world.”</i></span></li><li>Alexandra Hanke closed the panel by highlighting that the current situation also gives us the chance to work together across borders, stating that, <i><span style="color: #1f497d;">“This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of a global virtual network.”</span></i></li></ul><p>Many of us are familiar with the adage, “Women are expected to work like they don’t have children, and raise children as if they didn’t work”. Lisa Davidian spoke about work/life balance as a woman who embraced a career in IT, while raising a child on her own – a situation that is a reality for many women around the world. Her experience, which she openly shared, was that the career advice she received suggested that she should work as if she was a man; Lisa encourages women not to forget who they are while they work to become successful IT professionals.<br /><br />After the panel discussion, Andrea Ballschuh, a German TV moderator, gave attendees a training session on video conferences. From powerful keynotes to regional breakout sessions and the Partner Lounge for connecting and networking, there was lots of activity to take in.</span></p>

It then shows the engagement with members through local Microsoft offices in LATAM and how Microsoft is introducing the IAMCP to a host of other countries in the region to help engage and educate them on the benefits of IAMCP membership.</span></p><p><i><span style="color: rgb(47, 84, 150); font-size: 11pt;">“Thus far, we have been trying to get closer to Microsoft local subsidiaries to align plans and programs to work together on the FY21 Goals in our Microsoft partner ecosystem.
