Because I remember being at the Super Bowl for Yahoo Sports, I talked to a lot of different Chiefs players and they all know my Raiders were fanning him and II. I was joking with some of the guys I’ve interviewed over the years who know me and one of the guys were standing on the field talking, we said, man, let me tell you something.
This band will never forget Christmas.
That’s when the Raiders came in and beat the Chiefs.
So the last time Kansas City won, Kansas City sat there and thought about that game ever since that game happened.
Objectively speaking, the Raiders are just terrible right now and Kansas City is struggling offensively.
They will not fight in this match.
Mahomes has struggled this year.
He will have no problems in this game.
Why?
Because they have marked this moment on their calendar and many times we see teams doing well.
That’s not what’s going to happen here.
I think the Chiefs want to score 40 or 50 points.
Mahomes will definitely explode and an angry football team will unleash the Demons on my beloved Raiders.
I’m going to sit there and watch it all because that’s the only way I can see what a good football team looks like.
This isn’t my band either.

<h3>Baltimore Orioles</h3>
2024 record: 91-71

Team OPS: .751 (4th in MLB)
<h3>Which went well</h3>
Baltimore managed to make the postseason for the second year in a row, showcasing some of the best young talent in the sport. The best among these young players was Gunnar Henderson, who had an MVP year in most years (note: 2024 is not most years). At age 23, he hit 37 homers, stole 21 bases and amassed an .893 OPS in just his second full season in baseball.
He wasn’t alone in his insulting praise. Anthony Satander scored 44 goals and will be one of the most sought-after Power Bat players on the free agent market. Colton Cowser showed that his 2023 struggles are (mostly) a thing of the past, adding 24 round-trippers and producing an OPS of .768. Jordan Westburg also impressed with a .792 OPS and 18 shots, and solid offensive seasons from players like Ryan O’Hearn, Cedric Mullins and Ramon Urias helped Baltimore rank among the best in several offensive categories.
There were also solid performances in attack. Corbin Burnes pitched O’s 192 2/3 innings and a 2.92 ERA with a 181/48 K/BB in his first – and possibly last – season in Baltimore. Albert Suarez basically appeared out of nowhere and became the club’s second most consistent starter in 2024. And while they were hampered by injuries, the team saw flashes of brilliance in the hands of Grayson Rodriguez, Kyle Bradish and John Means; among others.
What went wrong
It’s weird to say this was a disappointing season for Baltimore considering how young the core of the club is and how terrible it was a few years ago, but it was. Baltimore was on track to win 100 games after its first 81 contests, but in the second half of the season it went 40-41, lost the league lead and was swept by the Royals in the Wild Card Series. One of the key reasons was the limited use of players like Bradish and Means, as the team had to use 13 starters during the season and swaps for starters Trevor Rogers and Zack Eflin were ineffective. The bullpen had some valuable contributors, but Craig Kimbrel wasn’t one of them, as Kimbrel not only lost his final role, but also lost the gig altogether after being designated for assignment late in the season.
The crime is also not without fault. Adley Rutschman failed to take a step forward in 2024, struggled significantly in the second half of the season and finished with an OPS of .709; an amount that no one would agree to. Jackson Holliday was terrible the first time he was called up, and although things went better the second time around, he still finished with a .189/.255/.311 line. There was essentially no offense in the playoff series against Kansas City, as the team scored just one run – a solo homer by Mullins – over 18 innings, hitting an ugly .167/.225/.242 in those two contests.
<h3>Fancy angles</h3>
– After finishing 2023 with an expected elite batting average of .292 and an expected on-base average (exWOBA) of .373, Rutschman wasn’t even close to matching those numbers in 2024. He was particularly poor against right-handed pitching with a .373. 219/.290/.342, and his OPS was an ugly .585 in the second half of the season. He still showed quality on the field and remains one of the better receivers, but Rutschman simply didn’t make enough contact to live up to the lofty expectations in 2024. Due to his talent and past success, he’s a great bounce-back candidate , but it’s safe to say he’s not what many believed he would be this year.
– Holliday was widely considered a top prospect for the upcoming season, and the fact that he was a 20-year-old who made the cut cannot be ignored. It’s also worth noting that in his second stint with the club, he saw his OPS increase to a (still not great) .650 OPS compared to the terrible .170 mark he hit with the team in April. Holliday is a tremendous talent and has the opportunity to contribute in every fantasy category possible, and we’ve seen many players go from completely ineffective to fantasy creators – even stars – in season two. Baseball is hard. Holliday will probably be fine.
– The Orioles were without Felix Bautista for all of 2024 after the man they call The Mountain underwent Tommy John surgery in late September 2023, and now is a good time to remember how good Bautista was at holding out hope that he would be ready for the 2025 season. In 2023, he saved 33 games, had an ERA of 1.48 and struck out 110 batters in 61 innings. It goes without saying that there aren’t many players with his talent, and while he knows there are some risks associated with injury, there are plenty of reasons to believe he can be among the best shortstops in baseball next season. even if he’s not ready to start a campaign.
<h3>Key free agents</h3>
Burnes, Santander, James McCann, Austin Slater, Means, Seranthony Dominguez ($8 million club option), Eloy Jimenez ($16.5 million club option), Ryan O’Hearn ($8 million club option), Danny Coulombe (club option for $4 million), Cionel Perez (club option for $2.2 million)
The Jimenez option will certainly be ruled out unless something unpredictable happens, with O’Hearn, Dominguez, Coulombe and Perez all likely to return.
Team needs
Baltimore needs a rotation whether they re-sign Burnes or not, but that obviously should be a priority for Mike Elias and his staff. Outside of starters and maybe one or two relievers, there aren’t many holes in this squad – especially if Bautista shelve the year following surgeries – and even admitting that the 2024 season hasn’t gone as well as expected, it’s safe to say that few teams might say they have better long-term prospects than the Orioles currently do.

‘Trap: No Way Out’, ‘Birthday Girl’ and ‘Kinds of Kindness’: All Movies DVD and Blu-ray. 
Nach dem Film “The Sixth Sense” (1999), der mit einer spektakulären Wendung endete, galt M. Night Shyamalan like Hollywoods neues Wunderkind. Doch sein Stern began schon Mitte der 2000er-Jahre langsam wieder zu Sinken. It includes the fantasy film “Die Legende von Ang” (2010) and the sci-fi Abenteuer “After Earth” (2013), which is screened in the creative environment of the Sackgasse zu haben. 2015 feierte der gebürtige Inder dann aber ein achtbares Comeback mit dem abgespeckten, kammerspielartigen Psychothriller “Visit”. Erfolge an den Kinokassen created Shyamalan danach vor allem mit “Split” (2016) and “Glass” (2019) so that he could enjoy Teilen einer eigenen Superheldentrilogie. Weniger Anklang beim Publikum fandagegen sein Werk “Knock at the Cabin” (2023). The current film “Trap: No Way Out”, which is available for US$82 million, is available for free Psychothriller “Birthday Girl” and the anthology film “Kinds of Kindness” on DVD and Blu-ray.
<h4>“Trap: No Exit” (VÖ: October 24)</h4>
Die Handlung von “Trap: No Way Out” konzentriert sich zu großen Teilen auf eine Konzerthalle. Eben Dorthin Zieht es den von Josh Hartnett Verkörperten Protagonisten Cooper mit seiner Tochter Riley (Ariel Donoghue), die für die Popsängerin Lady Raven (die lteste Tochter des Regisseurs: Saleka Shyamalan) brennt. Als Cooper auf die enorme Polizeipräsenz vor Ort aufmerksam wird, erfährt er, dass das ganze Konzert eine ausgeklügelte Falle für den berüchtigten Serienkiller “The Butcher” ist. Weil es sich bei dem gesuchten Mörder um ihn selbst dobret, steht er plötzlich gewaltig unter Druck. “Trap: No Way Out” is the focus of Mehrfacher Hinsicht. Es kommt schließlich nicht alle Tage vor, dass die Zuschauer mit einem bösen Menschen, einem echten Schwerverbrecher, mitfiebern sollen. Are you auch hier einen dieser typischen Shyamalan-Twists, der alles auf den Kopf stellt? Abwarten … – Jednofalls ist es schön, den einst hochgehandelten, dann aber in der Versenkung verschwundenen Josh Hartnett (“Pearl Harbor”) mal wieder in einer Hauptrolle zu sehen.

Die beiden Frauen hatten sich stark voneinander entfremdet, die Reise sollte einer Wiederannäherung dienen. Doch dann kommt alles ganz anders. Zerrissener Slipunerklärliche Schmerzen: Es geht um den Verdacht, dass die junge Frau an Bord eines Kreuzfahrtschiffs zwischen Florida und der Karibik Opfer eine Vergewaltigung wurde. Die resolute Mutter macht sich auf eigene Faust auf Tätersuche und Beginnt mit bohrenden Nachfragen – auf offener See. Doch in Internationalen Gewässern ist die Rechtslage schwierig. <h4>“Types of Kindness” (VÖ: October 25)</h4>
Die Deutungen gehen in unterschiedliche Richtungen, und doch ist man sich einig: Nach dem Erfolg der üppig ausgestatteten Groteske “Poor Things” (vier Oscars) ist Giorgos Lanthimos auch mit “Kinds of Kindness” wieder ein großer Wurf gelungen. Gemeinsam mit seinem Ko-Autoren Efthymis Filippou erzählt der 51-Jährige nicht nur eine Geschichte, sondern gleich drei – alle angesiedelt im zeitgenössischen Amerika. Da ist ein Mann, der die Controlle über sein Leben verloren hat und mit der inneren Unruhe nicht fertig wird. Ein Polizist, dessen Partnerin erst auf See verschwindet und dann wie ausgewechselt wieder zurückkehrt. Eine Frau, die einem seltsamen Guru nachspürt. Es geht um Macht, Controlle, menschliche Beziehungen und wie fast immer bei Lanthimos auch um menschliche Abgründe. Verwirrendes Episode auf hohem Niveau. Verwirrend auch deshalb, weil Lanthimos sich dafür entschied, fast alle Stars seines filmischen Triptychons drei verschiedene Rollen spielen zu lassen. Angeführt wird der Cast von Emma Stonedie Anfang des Jahres den Oscar is also the best Hauptdarstellerin in “Poor Things”. Weitere (Mehrfach-)Rollen übernahmen Willem Dafoe, Małgorzata Quley, Joe AlwynMamoudou Athie, Hong Chau owl Jesse Plemonsder in Cannes als bester Schauspieler ausgezeichnet wurde.

Montana ranches face many threats due to weather, but the Montana Farm Bureau works with ranchers to be able to help in the event of a disaster.
“How can we support them and what’s the best way to do that,” Sky Anderson says.
The Montana Farm Bureau has launched the Montana Disaster Relief Fund, a donation-based program that will help farmers in the event of a crisis in their operations.
“We just raise funds that we can pay back and give to people in need,” Anderson says.
Anderson is a member of the Farm Bureau board of directors, but he also ran his own ranch for many decades, so he understands the importance of the fund.
“I believe every rancher who has been in business for a while runs into difficulties,” Anderson says.
The purpose of the disaster relief fund is to provide farmers with all the help they need if they face a crisis caused by a natural disaster such as a fire.
“Whether it’s hay, mending a fence, or paying trucks to haul hay to fire areas,” Anderson says.
And for those who want to contribute to the cause?
“Get out your checkbook, be charitable, and send money to the Montana Farm Bureau Foundation disaster fund,” Anderson says.

SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) – Spartanburg County’s 7th District Solicitor said a man pleaded guilty to a number of property crimes and was sentenced Wednesday.
Officials said that on September 16, 2023, the homeowner on Oakridge Court in Wellford heard Michael Trevor Barton, 32, in his wife’s BMW with a dog and an assault rifle.
Barton held the homeowner at gunpoint and stole the vehicle. Barton was later identified by the homeowner.
During an investigation, the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office determined that Barton had broken into a home on Oakridge Court the day before and stolen items, including a spare key to the BMW. Following additional investigation by Landrum Police and the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement determined that Barton had committed a series of property crimes in the Wellford, Duncan, Lyman and Landrum areas. 
Barton was later arrested following a pursuit by Spartanburg County deputies in September 2024. 
Barton was sentenced to 20 years on the following charges:

<li>Four counts of first-degree burglary, </li>
<li>Attempted armed robbery</li>
<li>Possessing a weapon while committing a violent crime</li>
<li>Four counts of grand larceny</li>
<li>Two counts of petty theft</li>
<li>Two cases of receiving stolen goods</li>
<li>Malicious damage to personal property </li>
<li>Burglary of a motor vehicle</li>
<li>Failure to stop a motor vehicle when signaled by a law enforcement vehicle</li>
<li>Using a vehicle without the owner’s consent </li>
<li>Possession of a stolen pistol</li>
</ul>
On each count of first-degree burglary, Barton was sentenced to 20 years in prison, officials said. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison for attempted armed robbery. Officials said all sentences would be served concurrently. 
His prior criminal record includes convictions for shoplifting, petit larceny, third-degree assault and battery, unlawful neglect of a child and second-degree domestic violence.

Nicole Kidman became emotional as she reflected on her mother’s recent death at the “Lioness” season two premiere on Wednesday night. 
“It was hard,” she honestly told the Hollywood Reporter on the red carpet in Los Angeles. “It’s a difficult road. I’m hanging in there.”
Kidman’s mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, died last month at the age of 84.

The 57-year-old Oscar winner reportedly broke down in tears as she recalled an incredibly fruitful period in her career as she dealt with her mother’s absence.
“I wish my mom was here,” she told THR. “That’s the only thing I would say. Everything is going great at work, but I regret that my mother is not here.”
Nicole learned of her mother’s death shortly after arriving at the 2024 Venice Film Festival, where she was scheduled to accept the best actress award for her work on “Babygirl.”

Instead, the award was accepted on her behalf by the director of the thriller, Halina Reijn, who also announced the death of Nicole’s mother. 
“I’m in shock and I have to go to my family, but this award is for her,” Nicole wrote in a statement read by Reijn. 
“She shaped me, guided me and created me. I am extremely grateful to be able to tell you all her name through Halina.”
“The collision of life and art is heartbreaking and my heart is broken.”

Keith Urban updated fans on how his wife was coping with her mother’s death in late September, stating that she was “feeling good.”
Nicole’s grieving thriller “The Perfect Couple” hit the No. 1 spot on Netflix after debuting on September 5, according to THR.

WHITE RIVER JCT., Vt. (WCAX) – A survey at Hartford Middle School aims to see if students feel like they belong. It was created by students and will ultimately lead to lasting changes throughout the building.
Strengthening the sense of belonging to any community is not easy. That’s why a group of students at Hartford Middle School are working on it every day. 
As Hartford Middle School students filed into the hallways, the “Belonging Group” was gathering in the cafeteria. 
“If you’re sitting alone in a corner or something, I bet it’s not pleasant at all,” said Chuck Looby, an eighth-grader on a team helping identify areas of the school where improvements can be made without kids feeling left out. “I don’t want people to feel like that.” 
The anonymous survey was created with the help of high school senior Harper Fallon, an intern at the school. Its aim is to check where children feel safe and where they do not. 
“I think definitely people feel like they have to be someone they’re not,” said Ezra Tane, an eighth-grader.
The results will be collated to improve everyone’s sense of belonging. “For people to feel like they can be themselves,” Tane said.
“Sixth grade was kind of hard for me,” Fallon admitted. “You’re new and everyone’s already so comfortable here that you don’t know how to feel comfortable.”
Educators will tell you that middle school can be a difficult age. “Our job is to create a space where they feel like they belong,” said Hartford Middle School Principal Cody Tancreti. He also says it’s extremely important for students to be part of the process. “There will be changes at this school, whether it be the schedule, the system, or more staff in the hallway as time goes on.” 
“We want to do something for them,” said Bella Lombardi. “We hope everyone feels part of the community.” 
Administrators say changes made at the school could potentially be rolled out across the district, creating a sense of belonging for all students.

Owen Hargreaves believes Erik ten Hag is “worried” about Rasmus Hojlund’s workload after he was named on the bench for Manchester United’s Europa League clash with Fenerbahce.
Hojlund scored a superb goal in United’s win over Brentford in the Premier League last week, so it was a surprise to see Joshua Zirkzee overtake him in Istanbul.
Although Zirkzee played a part in Christian Eriksen’s first half, the move did not bring much success to Manchester United and Ten Hag opted to bring on Hojlund in place of the Dutchman shortly after the break.
By then, Fenerbahce Jose Mourinho had already scored a deserved goal after Youssef En-Nesyri’s shot, and his header in the 49th minute turned out to be the last goal, and the match ended with the score 1-1.
Both Hargreaves and fellow Old Trafford legend Paul Scholes were surprised that Hojlund started on the bench and also felt Casemiro should have been involved from the start.
A tight schedule undoubtedly played a role in Ten Hag’s decision – Manchester United traveled to east London on Sunday to face West Ham – but Scholes said his former club had not been able to rest and rotate players so freely.
“I think if he had played with Hojlund and Casemiro today, they would have made a big difference,” Scholes told TNT Sports.

I know there are games coming up, but Erik ten Hag has to win games now, so play with the best players.
Hargreaves added: “I guess I have to agree. He (Ten Hag) is worried about Hojlund and his minutes, he knows he needs him in West Ham’s squad this weekend.
“I would definitely play Casemiro. (Manuel) Ugarte played really well, looked good, but United didn’t show much offensively.
– Ultimately, it was a fair result. I don’t think United can expect to go there and win right now, given their form. But three points after three games (Europa League) is definitely not enough.”

Hojlund he missed the start of the season due to injury, but played in all of the club’s last seven matches, scoring three goals in the process.
Since arriving at Old Trafford for £72 million from Atalanta, the Danish striker has scored 18 goals in 50 appearances.
Meanwhile, TNT Sport co-commentator Robbie Savage, after watching the Europa League match from the stands, concluded that the 1-1 result was a “fair result for both teams.”
Fenerbahce wanted a penalty shortly after equalizing, but the on-pitch referee rejected appeals and VAR confirmed the correct decision had been made.
However, Mourinho was furious upon hearing this announcement, earning a red card and being sent to the stands for his outburst in the dugout.

“I think on the balance of play, Fenerbahce were the better team in that first half, but Manchester United scored a great goal on the counter-attack,” Savage said.
Fenerbahce could have equalized at half-time. They went on the pitch, scored a goal, but didn’t create much in the second half.
I think Jose will be happy, especially since he lost 1-0. It’s a fair result for both teams.
On Sunday, Manchester United will face West Ham, which has won only two of eight league matches this season and lost to Tottenham 4-1 after the last break.

Sein Terminkalender scheint aktell voller Drehs zu sein: Damian Hardung war vor “Love Suss” and “Maxton Hall” Teil einer erfolgreichen Serie. 
Dortmund – Watch the ZDF series “Love Suss” or Amazon-Erfolg “Maxton Hall”: Damian Hardung is the author in the project you are watching. Und das meist in der Hauptrolle. Einen regelrechten Karriereschub hat ihm eine bekannte Serie des RTL-Tochtersenders Vox gegeben.
<h2 class="id-StoryElement-crosshead">Vor “Love Suss”: Damian Hardung started his career in the popular RTL series </h2>
Gemeint ist der Erfolg “Der Club der roten Bänder”. Hier spielte Hardung von 2015 bis 2017 mit der Figur Jonas Neumann ebenfalls eine der Hauptrollen. Für Vox war die Serie ein Mega-Erfolg: Bis zu 3 Millionen Zuschauer haben regelmäßig eingeschaltet. 
Andere Schauspieler der Serie sind ebenfalls nach wie vor erfolgreich. An Hardungs Seite wirkte etwa Luise Befort mit, deren Bruder Max bereits als Kinderstar berühmt wurde. Auch Tim Oliver Schultz war bei “Der Club der roten Bänder” zu sehen. Seitdem ist er in zahlreichen Kinofilmen aufgetaucht.

<h2 class="id-StoryElement-crosshead">Damian Hardung kehrt zurück zu RTL: Schauspieler dreht für ein neues Projekt</h2>
Sein voller Terminkalender dürfte erstmal nicht leerer werden, denn Damian Hardung ist bald wieder bei RTL zu sehen. In der Comedy-Serie “Softies” wird das Leben in einer Männer-WG beleuchtet. Einen genauen Starttermin gibt es noch nicht (mehr TV-News on RUHR24).
Ouch in “Maxton Hall” is Hardung weiterhin zu sehen. Die Dreharbeiten zur zweiten Staffel sind bereits abgeschlossen, wie Amazon selbst bekannt gibt. Ob “Love sucks” weitergeht, ist bisher noch unklar. “Ob die Serie “Love Sucks” fortgesetzt wird, steht noch nicht fest”, so das ZDF auf Anfrage von RUHR24.
