12.

 13.

When creating new point/editing vertices etc., the editing toolbar appears on the bottom of the screen. Having finished with the edits, I click the box with the green check to confirm I am done with my edits, and then save my edits.

However recently, when I click to another map/layout and then return to the original that I was editing, the editing toolbar appears again and I have to close it down again. I have never had this problem before and it is only recently this has begun to happen.

This is particularly annoying when I activate a map within a layout and the edit bar appears and I make edits by accident.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 31.

I have an arcgis enterprise v11.0 on AWS. Its an Single site multi machine deployment federated with Portal.
We have published many services almost 2000+ as per the need time to time. Of these many services almost 30% might have become obsolete as its new versions have got published.
Now i need to create an Inventory of all the services which are present and not in use in any of our web map or web scene.
I am able to get the listing of services on the hosting server along with its status (Start/Stop) using python script in jupyter notebook.
Similarly i can get the list of all services which are used in all our webscenes and webmap.
what i need is for the server listing i also need to know the Instance Type of each service like Dedicated or Shared but i am not able to get this Instance Type, i have tried all possible ways.
i need to do this in jupyter notebook only as i am not familiar with other methods but any other alternative is welcomed.

 49.

I saw the following note from Esri's documentation:

If the group is linked to an Active Directory, LDAP, or SAML group from an organization-specific identity store, only the group item is deleted from the portal. The Active Directory, LDAP, or SAML group is unaffected because it is managed by the identity store.

If the group is deleted directly from the identity store, the group item is retained in the portal. All group members are removed from the item, except the group owner.

My question: what is the correct workflow to delete a portal group that is linked to the SAML group? Does this note mean deleting the group form portal is not enough or not the right way?

 130.

I have just started exploring the ArcGIS Monitor API and have my first collection of Windows Hosts. I am wanting to create a custom dashboard that shows the current CPU and Memory usage of all our ArcGIS Server and other hosts through gauges for CPU (not sure what I will use for Mem yet) with the name of the machine beside the gauges.

I have enabled the Feature Service URL on the collection and added the data to Portal from a the URL.

When I review the data I am seeing a few problems. The metric data is a history and I am not seeing a way in dashboard to grab the last value entered. There is also no way to tie back to the name of the windows host without potentially hardcoding based on Component Id.

Is what I would like to do impossible in Dashboard (without having to implement some extract of the data to a table using a script)?

Do I need to instead look at PowerBI and talking to the Postgres DB directrly (Sure wish this was SQL database - that is another discussion though)

 137.
Apply filter to specific features only

 139.

Hey everyone, I have a question that may or may not be obvious. I have an experience with multiple filters. One of these filters I would like to only apply to a subset of features. Is there a way to make it so that a filter only applies to specific features without utilizing multiple layers?

For instance, I have a parking spot map, and I'm building an experience around it. There is a parking garage with 4 floors. I have a specific field "parking garage floor," which is filled in for those spots within the garage with their respective floor number. For all other spots, this field is blank. I would like to filter by floor number for only those spots within the garage. As it stands, I have been unable to make it so this filter does not hide all other spots across the map when it is enabled. In a previous version of the experience, I recall being successful in this pursuit, though I am unsure how I did this, or if I am even recalling correctly.

I suppose I could leave it a jumbled mess, as users will still be able to view specific floors if they enable the filter, but I would prefer only one floor be shown at a time, as well as all other spots outside of the garage.

I hope this is possible. Thanks in advance for the help.

 148.

I would like to create a report that chronologically numbers every image captured during the survey. I have successfully created a report that numbers photos captured inside of a repeat. However, I'm unable to figure a way to continue the numbering for photos outside of the repeat.

For example, 5 photos are taken inside of a repeat, and these photos are numbered and labeled in the report, 1-5. Then I take 5 more photos, and I would like the report to continue with the numbering, 6-10, in the report.

I've attached my xlsx file, as well as the report template. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Sage

 157.

In Experience builder can you edit vertices of an existing feature? Web Apps use to have the option to add smart editor which allowed one to edit the vertices of existing features but smart editor seems to no longer be supported. Is there another way to edit vertices?

 166.

Hello, I am working on a survey to take inventory of invasive plant species. I want the survey to display the species and percentage cover that was previously entered so the field techs can easily see what they've already recorded. Right now I have the species and coverage options as select_ones, and the display of what has already been used as a multiline text field with join(", ", ${Species_ID}) as the calculation.

Is there a way I can have it also display the percentage cover chosen for each species? And is there another way I get have is display better than a multiline text field, in case there's a lot of species in one transect?

Thanks,

Sophia
