Rebel Wilson co-stars in the new movie “Juliet & Romeo” with Jason Isaacs (in theaters May 9). 
Isaacs, 61, is fresh off starring in Season 3 of the HBO hit “The White Lotus.” When asked if she pumped him for information about the popular show, Wilson, 45, exclusively told The Post, “No, I didn’t even know at the time he’d been in ‘The White Lotus.’ Otherwise, of course, I would have!”
“He’s so good in ‘The White Lotus.’ I just loved it, and I watched every minute of it,” the “Pitch Perfect” star added. “I was just hanging out with him in London [doing press for ‘Juliet & Romeo’] and making jokes about his full-frontal nudity scene.”

In Season 3 of “The White Lotus,” Isaacs played Timothy Ratliff, a wealthy Southern man on vacation in Thailand. He was spiraling as he got in legal trouble for white-collar crime and tried to hide it from his family, including wife Victoria (Parker Posey) and kids Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger), Lochlan (Sam Nivola) and Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook). 
During one memorable scene, Timothy has pilfered his wife’s lorazepam to deal with his spiraling mental state. He’s so out of it, he doesn’t realize his robe has fallen open and he flashes his family with full-frontal nudity, much to their horror. 
Isaacs later joked to Entertainment Weekly, “Yeah, [full-frontal nudity] is now in my contract for every show I do, so we’ll see.” 
In “Juliet & Romeo,” Wilson and Isaacs play the parents of the famous star-crossed lovers. The musical drama is a reimagined version of the Shakespeare tragedy, with a more uplifting ending and musical numbers.

“He is such a talented actor,” Wilson said about Isaacs.
“I felt really lucky we have one big group scene in ‘Juliet & Romeo.’ I’m standing there with him because he plays Lord Montague, my rival. And then there’s like Sir Derek Jacobi and Rupert Graves and Rupert Everett — like all the Ruperts,” the Aussie star told The Post. “I felt really, really lucky to just be amongst those actors, because they’re great.”
The “Bridesmaids” actress added about Isaacs: “[He’s] just one of those actors – to go from ‘The White Lotus’ and ‘Juliet & Romeo,’ and ‘Harry Potter,’ he’s just a brilliant all-around actor. I feel like he can do anything.”

Bonuses on Wall Street could plunge by as much as 20% as dealmaking dries up and the stock market whipsaws because of economic turmoil caused by President Donald Trump’s trade war, according to a top consultancy.
Johnson Associates, a compensation specialist, said deals have all but ground to a halt over Trump’s threats to slap stiff tariffs on imported goods.
In its latest outlook report released Thursday, the firm predicted a 10% cut to bonuses for investment bankers as “expected M&A ‘mania’ disappoints with economic uncertainty” over the looming heavy levies.

“Bankers are concerned and afraid of paralysis where client activity freezes up and companies don’t invest, buy or sell, and the firms don’t generate the fees that they depend on. That is the biggest fear right now,” Alan Johnson, the firm’s founder, told The Post.
“The longer the uncertainty lasts, the more significant the impact.”
Johnson Associates warned that financiers working in equity underwriting, bankers who help companies sell stock to investors, could see a 20% decline in bonuses.

Hedge fund and asset management executives are likely to see their incentives slide by up to 10%, the report added.
Trump’s so-called Liberation Day announcement on April 2 roiled markets worldwide after the commander-in-chief laid out a string of “reciprocal tariffs” on nations that he felt treated the US unfairly. 
He has paused the reciprocal tariffs, which were set to kick in April 9, on all countries except China for 90 days as the administration tries to hammer out deals with global trade partners.

But the uncertainty has forced corporations to pull back on M&A activity, the bread and butter that seals megabucks payouts and advisory fees.
It is a swift reversal from last year, when dealmaking had roared back to life as the world emerged from the economic fallout of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The number of mergers and acquisitions announced across the world — an indicator of global economic health — fell in April to the lowest level in more than 20 years, according to Dealogic data.

In the US, the world’s largest M&A market, there were just 555 deals signed last month, the lowest number for any month since May 2009 during the global financial crisis, the data showed.
The Johnson report did predict that there would be some on Wall Street who could benefit from the roiled markets. The volatility has boosted the profits of trading desks at major US banks as investors reorder their portfolios to weather the potential forthcoming economic storms.

Johnson said that could drive bonuses for equity traders up between 15% and 25%, while their fixed-income counterparts could see a bump of 10% to 20%.
Last year, Wall Street bonuses swelled, with the total pool for payouts hitting a record $47.5 billion as industry profits soared, according to a report by New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli.
That report said the average annual bonus rose by almost a third, with payouts climbing to a whopping $244,700.

White smoke was seen pouring out of the Sistine Chapel chimney on Thursday, signaling the College of Cardinals has chosen a successor to Pope Francis.
Riotous applause went up from a crowd of thousands gathered at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City, where they had been keeping eyes on the chimney waiting for the white plume to emerge after each ballot was cast during the papal conclave.
The smoke indicates at least 89 of the 133 cardinals participating in the process have reached a consensus on who should be the next pope. Black smoke — indicating no candidate achieved the two-thirds majority threshold — wafts from the chimney before the white smoke appears.

The new pontiff’s identity and chosen name will soon be proclaimed by revered Cardinal Dominique Mamberti from the balcony overlooking St. Peter’s Square, with the religious higher-up declaring, ”Habemus Papam!” which is Latin for, “We have a pope!”

Meanwhile, the new pontiff will be dressed in traditional white papal vestments in the Room of Tears — a small space next to the Sistine Chapel that supposedly got its name from the emotion felt by the new pope in those moments.
The 267th pontiff will follow Pope Francis, 88, who died April 21 after a lengthy bout with respiratory illness culminating in a stroke and heart failure.

“I wasn’t surprised, not because I didn’t think the vice president wasn’t the most qualified person to be president. She is,” Biden said during an appearance on ABC’s “The View.”
The ousted Democratic leader then asserted that had he not bowed out of the last presidential contest, he would have won — pointing to Trump getting “7 million fewer votes” than their 2020 matchup. “A lot of people didn’t show up,” Biden said.

“I wasn’t surprised because they went the route of a, the sexist route, whole route, this is a woman, she’s this, she’s that,” he also said.
“I’ve never seen quite, uh, as successful and consistent campaign undercutting the notion that a woman couldn’t lead the country — and a woman of mixed race,” he added.

“They played that … fairly well,” Biden trailed off, before joking that one of the hosts had begged him not to talk at length as he’s been prone to do.
The 46th president also said that he was “very disappointed” by the Democrats’ staggering loss, claiming “liberal democracies all across America, all across the world lost last time.”
“I think we underestimate the phenomenal negative impact that COVID had and the pandemic had on people, on attitudes, on optimism, on a whole range of things,” he clarified.
The retired president also divulged that he “talks to” Harris “frequently” and had recently shared his “opinion” on an unidentified matter.
Asked directly whether rumors of Harris running for California governor were accurate, Biden said: “She’s got a difficult decision to make about what she’s going to do.”

Former child actor Jonathan Lipnicki’s career didn’t go in the direction he wanted.
Lipnicki rose to fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s for his film roles in “Jerry Maguire,” “Like Mike,” “Stuart Little” and its sequel, and his TV role in “Dawson’s Creek.”
But in a new interview with People, Lipnicki revealed his career has taken a devastating career in adulthood.

“It’s totally fine to say I’m not where I want to be career-wise,” Lipnicki said, which he’s “all right” with for now.

“Everything we’re doing in this life is nearly impossible,” he continued. “This is the thing I want to do for the rest of my life, and I think you just have to believe it’s going to happen and do everything in your power to take action in the right direction.”

The “Little Vampire” star acknowledged that his adult career has been “half-and-half where there are some things that were really good and nobody saw them.”
He said that while he’s had no “regrets” he’s much more “careful” about the roles he chooses today.

“To be quite honest, I said no to about five movies in the last year,” Lipnicki shared. “I just really want to turn this ship around.” 
The actor added, “And I pray every night for clarity on where I need to go, and I’m confident the best is yet to come for me. And I think you just have to believe that. If you’re going to pursue this, you’re doing yourself a disservice not to dream big.”

In the last few years, Lipnicki has been in several short films that weren’t popular. He also starred in the 2024 slasher film “Camp Pleasant Lake” which has a 20% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes.
His latest gig on the prank series “The Joe Schmo Show” was “outside his comfort zone” and “a step in the right direction,” Lipnicki told People.

“As an actor growing up in this industry, you want to be on your best behavior, and I got to be on my worst,” he shared.
Lipnicki famously played Renée Zellweger’s son in 1996’s “Jerry Maguire,” starring alongside Tom Cruise, Cuba Gooding Jr., Kelly Preston, Jay Mohr, Bonnie Hunt and Regina King.

He also starred as the eldest Little son in the 1999 “Stuart Little” movie and the 2002 sequel.
On “Dawson’s Creek,” Lipnicki played Buzz Thompson, a 9-year-old who is abandoned by his father and becomes mentored by Pacey (Joshua Jackson).

One man is taking “be fruitful and multiply” to a whole new level. 
Rob Albon has devoted his life to supporting a controversial effort by the world’s richest person, Elon Musk. 
Albon, who lives in a modest home in England, has nowhere near the wealth or name-recognition of the tech billionaire, but he has thoroughly outperformed Musk in their shared goal: to combat rapidly declining birth rates by repopulating the Earth with their children..

While Musk’s 14 kids have scandalized many, Albon says he has fathered a whopping 190 children.
“I’m the poor man’s Elon Musk,” Albon, 54, told the Daily Mail.

“Like Musk, I’m a very creative person. I feel I have to give back to the world, and this is my way: to be productive,” the prolific “Sperminator” explained. “It’s something I feel I should accomplish. I have some responsibility to my ancestors and their descendants. Filial piety is what it’s called. I’m doing it for posterity.”
Albon has developed a unique strategy of fathering his kids; as a private sperm donor, he publicizes his services on a Facebook page. He is one of the many unregulated sperm donors who practice natural insemination — regular penetrative sex — or partial intercourse, which entails penetrating at the last second for insemination. 
Despite not being a practice done at any legal sperm donation sites, Albon argues that insemination through sex is best, claiming without proof that fresh semen and certain sex positions are more likely to get a woman pregnant.

“Of course, I like sex. It’s a creative thing,” he confessed to the Daily Mail. 
“The women enjoy it, too. Some of them have told me.”
Since he moved to the UK from the United States in 2020, Albon has fathered around 40 kids. The majority are back in the U.S. or Argentina, where he previously worked as a translator.

While he is reportedly in touch with around 60 of his sperm donation kids and sees one of them a week, he has become estranged from his two children from his 30-year marriage with his ex-wife — because of his sexual hobby.
Albon’s “sperm donation” was exposed in February when a Welsh judge publicized his name in a judgment to warn women about his practices. Charging women $133 per session plus expenses, he went by the alias Joe Donor.
He sued a lesbian couple in 2023 for parental rights, demanding that his name be put on the birth certificate of a baby produced from a sperm donation. 
Deputy High Court Judge Jonathan Furness KC blasted the father of nearly 200 as having “a complete absence of sensitivity or empathy” — a claim Albon has rejected.
“It’s ridiculous,” he said. “The judge is definitely wrong. A child has the right to an accurate birth record. My name should have been on the birth certificate, but another person’s name was on it, and she had no right to be there.”

Albon added that as a private sperm donor, he has the right to remain anonymous.
“He said he was naming me to protect women from me, but it drew me to the attention of more people who wanted my help,” Albon continued. 
Despite his insistence that he wants to be on the birth certificate for his children, Albon is on the run from an arrest warrant in Wisconsin for six counts of not paying child support, the Daily Mail reported.
After the court ruling, he began scaling back on his sperm donation activities, relegating his services to creating siblings of his other children.

A good rule of thumb for protecting your brain health? If a neurologist wouldn’t do it, you probably shouldn’t either.
Nearly 7 million Americans and more than 55 million people around the world are living with dementia, an umbrella term used to describe several progressive disorders that affect memory and cognition.
While aging — and some age-related diseases — can’t be prevented, our lifestyle choices can accelerate or decelerate the process.
Dr. Salvatore Napoli, the medical director at Neurology and Infusion Centers of New England, told The Post his three big no-nos on his list — plus some subtler signs of dementia to keep your eyes open for.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">1. Smoking</h2>
People who smoke are more likely to have deterioration in gray and white matter, which provides a possible explanation as to why 14% of global Alzheimer’s disease cases could be attributable to cigarette smoking.
When someone smokes, the person’s blood vessel linings are “bombarded” by free radicals, which are electrons that cause cell damage.

That impacts not only the heart and lungs but also the brain.
While other organs, such as the lungs, can recover after a person quits smoking, there are no subsequent increases in brain volume.
It has long been known that aging is linked to a gradual reduction in brain volume, and a 2024 study shows that smoking speeds up that process
The study found those who smoked one pack daily were found to have decreased brain volume compared to those who never smoked or had smoked fewer than 100 total cigarettes. With each additional year of smoking, the shrinkage was greater.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">2. Lead a sedentary lifestyle</h2>
Staying active is among our best defenses against dementia according to Napoli. 
A recent study published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease found that regular exercise — even as little as a few thousand steps — is associated with larger brain volume, suggesting it takes less exercise than previously thought to maintain cognitive function.

When we perform aerobic exercise, our heart pumps more blood to our brain, carrying vital oxygen and nutrients to keep our brains healthy.
Regular aerobic exercise has also been shown to significantly lower the risk of developing high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, and sleep apnea — these conditions can affect the brain. Some good exercises for the brain include:

<li>Walking</li>
<li>Running</li>
<li>Cycling</li>
<li>Swimming</li>
</ul>
People who walk about 9,800 steps — around five miles — a day are 51% less likely to develop dementia than those who don’t walk often, a 2022 Harvard study found.
And there’s no better time than now to start putting in your steps and working up a sweat.
“Put yourself in a good position when you’re younger so that things don’t catch up with you when you’re older. In other words, the good choices you make in your 30s, 40s and 50s will pay dividends in your 60s and 70s,” Napoli said.

“I would never spend my life thinking about, ‘What am I going to get …’” said Napoli. “Control the things you can control. It’s important to live your life to the fullest.”

In addition to his never list, Napoli shared three simple things people can do to slow or prevent the development of dementia.
They include keeping up with doctors appointments, being mindful of modifiable risk factors like high blood pressure and leading a healthy, active lifestyle that includes a diet rich in whole foods.
“Everyone is different and there is a uniqueness to how each individual may experience cognitive decline. That’s why the basics become so important: good sleep, regular exercise, reduction of stressors, good family support and socialization,” Napoli said.

While many are aware of major warning signs of dementia such as memory loss, confusion and trouble concentrating, he warned that people should be on the lookout for more subtle signs of cognitive decline.
“It’s also a good idea to be mindful of behavior changes, such as becoming short tempered or impatient,” he said. 
When observing a loved one, you may also notice that they forget to pay bills, forget people’s names or start to struggle with skills that once came easily.
Napoli noted that being aware and on top of these warning signs can lead to early intervention and a more positive prognosis.
“The earlier you can catch something the less damage accumulates, and you’ll improve your chances of slowing the condition down. The earlier you intervene there is less of a chance of amyloid and tau accumulation in the brain,” he said.
In terms of treatment, Napoli said there’s never been more hope for dementia patients.
“We have the opportunity to slow down the disease with new therapies, like Leqembi and Kisunla, and alter natural history of the condition.”
Napoli notes that diagnositc technologies like PET scans can lead to earlier diagnoses, better care and access to new treatments. 
“This provides a gateway for future therapies where we can slow the disease even more and buy more time to get patients stable enough where we can add on therapies that might show the progression of Alzheimer’s even more. This is the advent of bigger things to come,” he added.

When prompted with the question of who should be the next pope, the world’s most advanced chatbots gave thoughtful, cautious responses — avoiding endorsements while offering a glimpse into how they approach one of the most sacred and consequential decisions in the religious world.
Each chatbot approached the query differently, but all shared a common trait: a reluctance to make definitive declarations about who will become the next bishop of Rome.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">ChatGPT: A Balanced Overview with Named Contenders</h2>
OpenAI’s ChatGPT acknowledged that “there’s no clear consensus on who should be the next pope.” The bot then listed off some of the cardinals who have surfaced as frontrunners and their strengths.
These included “Cardinal Peter Turkson,” described as “a leading African candidate known for his work on climate change and social justice,” and “Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle,” called “a prominent voice from Asia and close to Pope Francis’ vision of a more inclusive Church.”

Grok, the AI developed by X (formerly Twitter), refrained from its usual snarky replies and provided the most detailed answer, framing the decision as inherently subjective and dependent on “one’s perspective, values, and priorities for the Catholic Church.”
Rather than naming a preferred choice, Grok outlined key factors likely to influence the conclave.
“The cardinals face a choice between continuing Pope Francis’ progressive reforms — emphasizing inclusivity, social justice, and outreach to the marginalized — or shifting toward a more conservative, doctrinally traditional approach,” the chatbot noted.

It offered a list of papabile — frequently mentioned candidates — including Pietro Parolin, Luis Antonio Tagle, Peter Turkson, Jean-Marc Aveline and Matteo Zuppi.
Grok also stressed the conclave’s unpredictability, citing the adage, “He who enters the conclave as Pope, leaves as a cardinal.”

Claude, the chatbot created by Anthropic, adopted a reverent tone, making it clear that it would not advocate for any particular candidate.

Claude emphasized that the conclave is “guided by the Holy Spirit,” and described the process as “deliberately private to minimize political influences.”

“The cardinals look for a leader with strong faith, humility, and adherence to the Church’s teachings,” it said, also citing the importance of “pastoral experience,” “administrative skills,” and “a clear sense of direction for the future of Catholicism.”

Meta advised readers to consider each contender’s “experience, vision, global perspective, and leadership style.”

Pamela Anderson is ready to smoke up the screen with Liam Neeson.
The SAG-nominated starlet, 57, delivered one of her best performances yet with “The Last Showgirl,” and fans have high hopes for the “Naked Gun” reboot — especially after she teased her chemistry with the leading man.
Anderson addressed her latest project and her relationship with Neeson, 72, who will play police detective Frank Drebin opposite Pamela as femme fatale Beth. 
The actress shared how she geared up for the slapstick comedy.

“It is the same depth of process for a high comedy as it is for a drama,” she told Entertainment Weekly in an interview published Wednesday. “I worked hard on the role, another cathartic experience. Every film, it seems, tackles a deep-seated issue that needs to be expressed and surfaced in ways other than anything else.”
When asked if she had trouble keeping a straight face while filming alongside Neeson, Anderson teased, “Oh, yes!” adding that they “cracked up a few times” during takes.
She also shared that her strategy for uncontrollable giggles on set was to “play the scenes dramatically and truthfully,” admitting, “The comedy is for the audience, not for us. We are in the moment.”

While Neeson already professed his love for Anderson, confessing in October that he was “madly in love” with the “Baywatch” icon, his infatuation is reciprocated.
 Anderson said she and the “Taken” actor hit it off immediately during the audition process. 
“Our chemistry was clear from the start,” she spilled. “We have the utmost respect for one another.” 
Anderson then rattled off about Neeson’s charm, calling him “mysterious,” “inspiring,” and a “true gentleman.”

She admitted that her co-star is “electric” and “a legend and deserving of the title.”
Anderson continued to woo Neeson off the screen, revealing they both love “literature and a good laugh.” She also tried to impress the actor in the kitchen, telling the outlet she often baked sourdough bread to share with him. 
But the two spent time outside of work together, too.

“We had many dinners out with the cast,” Anderson said before confessing, “I invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant so our relationship stayed ‘professionally romantic’ during filming.”
The “Baywatch” babe couldn’t say enough positive things about her hunky co-star.
“I am in awe of him, his experience, and work ethic,” she said of Neeson. “I soaked him in like a sponge.”
The actor also gave Anderson glowing reviews after working with her.

“With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with,” Neeson told People in October 2024. “I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you.”
He continued to sing her praises, adding, “No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with. She’s going to be terrific in the film.”
When it comes to the reboot, Anderson hopes moviegoers love it.

“We had so much fun making it. I think it’s timely for a beloved comedy like this. I’m a fan of the originals. As Liam says, ‘We could all use a good giggle.’ I pray we do more,” she told EW. 
The news that the pair teamed up for “The Naked Gun” remake came out in August.
Neeson is taking over the role of Drebin from the late Leslie Nielsen, who died in 2010 at age 84.
The original film was written and directed by Jerry Zucker, Jim Abrahams and David Zucker. It was based on the short-lived ’80s series “Police Squad,” which only got six episodes.
“The Naked Gun” hits theaters on August 1.

In just the last few months, new reports show artificial intelligence can complete high level work —like creating decks at elite consulting firms — and Elon Musk has put the odds of humanity’s annihilation from AI at 20%.
Michael Kratsios — who may be the most important man you’ve never heard of — is at the tip of the spear when it comes to making sure America dominates AI and every other facet of tech and science.
Kratsios runs the relatively unknown White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), which means he serves as Trump’s top technology advisor and is responsible for tech and science policy across federal agencies. 
He is also tasked with ensuring the U.S. leads in science and tech and that it actually benefits the American worker.

We spoke with him in an exclusive interview about what keeps him up at night; what his AI action plan, set to be unveiled in July, may look like; and how he believes the average American will benefit from this new technology.
In some ways, he thinks one of the biggest changes Trump has made is bringing a new mindset to government. 
“The Biden administration led by spirit of fear rather than promise — analyzing and trying to anticipate harm that technology can bring to the country,” he told me. “We can harness [AI] for the benefit of the American people… to improve the American way of life, to increase our national security, to increase economic growth, to empower American workers.”
While the U.S. is poised to be the AI powerhouse, it is in no way guaranteed.
“The US has shown we can continue to outpace the world in leading edge technology … but the real question is if no one is using it, if the government is not adopting it, if we’re not putting it into practice at the Department of Defense, in our intelligence community, if our greatest American companies … that worries me,” he told me.

Kratsios took the helm earlier this year after serving as America’s CTO in Donald Trump’s first administration and several stints in the private sector. (He was formerly Managing Director of Scale AI and Chief of Staff for Silicon Valley investor Peter Thiel).

His biggest concern, he told me, is that the US isn’t adopting our own technology or exporting it as rapidly, as China has done (Deepseek is a notable example).
Actually exporting new technology like an AI stack (the tools and frameworks that build and manage AI), he believes is still something we’re learning to do.
“The US government has been very good at exporting legacy hardware,” he said. “But the ability the US government has in supporting the export of high end technology and software is not very deep.”
Adopting and exporting technology has become a priority — it’s why J.D. Vance went to the AI Summit in Paris and why Trump pushed for a $500 billion AI investment from Masa Son, Larry Ellison, and Sam Altman.

“We have to do better in adopting [our own innovation] here at home and abroad … so that it becomes kind of a de facto technology that everyone uses. Everything should be running on American chips and American models. And we have that opportunity, if we just get our act together and make it happen.”
His first priority is writing an AI action plan — something the President has signed an executive order to do — that will detail policies America needs to dominate AI. They are still receiving comments from roughly 10,000 people, in a sign of just how significant tech’s reach is.

“The community that’s interested in tech and tech policy has gotten so broad,” he notes. 
But the challenge he must strike is to unleash American technology while still providing guidelines. Adversaries like China and Russia are more focused on building than reining in advancement.
“We are in a privileged position — everyone in the world wants to use our technology,” he said. “We just have to be better at getting it out there and aligning with many of the trade deals that the president and his team are working on… because we know our adversaries are going to try to subsidize and export their AI stack. And I think it’s most critical that we beat them to the punch.”
The other key element of his job is to make sure technology benefits average Americans. 
In the next five years it may mean most Americans have simpler healthcare — faster and more accurate diagnoses — and even a personal assistant.
“It’ll make a lot of those daily activities much more automated and less stressful,” he said. “We have the opportunity to harness these amazing technologies to make the lives of Americans better and to ensure long-term economic and national security. And the only way that we can do this is to intentionally choose it.”
