The all-white away uniform is <a href="https://news.cgtn.com/news/2022-07-22/Uwe-Seeler-Football-world-mourns-after-death-of-Germany-legend-1bRSUruzZja/index.html">synonymous</a> with the club’s major victories and finals, and it has become an emblem within the club’s identity.
AC Milan have channelled their energies into their 2022-23 outfit since being the first Italian side to win the European Champions Club’s Cup with an all-white strip in 1963.
AC Milan Chief Revenue Officer, Casper Stylsvig, comments on this season’s away kit: “It is a jersey rich in symbolism, with the white kit being an iconic part of who we are and the seven stripes representing the Club’s incredible success in Europe.”
This season, the team is wearing a fan-favorite away uniform from 1984-85. The shirt’s white foundation includes seven red horizontal stripes across the centre of the jersey, representing the club’s seven Champions League titles, while also paying homage to the 1984-85 uniform.
PUMA’s Senior Head of product line management teamsport apparel, Marco Mueller, adds, “AC Milan is <a href="http://juniorsoccerfactory.com/">steeped</a> in history, so we looked to the 1984/85 season Away kit as an inspiration. We wanted to bring a fresh energy to that kit and celebrate iconic all-white kits of the past.”
The jersey has black and red trim on the sleeve cuffs and collar, as well as the Milan coat of arms on the top back.
The white jersey honours the club’s strengthened partnership with PUMA as they once again use the style, fashion, and culture of Milan to design kits that function just as well on the pitch as they do off it.

A stinging Paul Pogba admits that he is furious at Manchester United for not offering him anything at Old Trafford, despite turning down two offers for hugely lucrative contracts. Sky Sports News understands Manchester United’s contract offer is still on the table, but Paul Pogba has explored other options and has since left the club in a free transfer, the second time of his career.
Pogba was not happy with the assessment <a href="https://footballtopjerseyssale.com/">Manchester United</a> gave him for how important he was to the club but was offered a significant contract, worth 500,000 pounds per week, for staying. At the time, Manchester United’s proposed agreement for Paul Pogba was reported as being more than PS290,000 per week, with Sky Sports News understanding that it offered him a 3.5% raise over his then-contract. Despite this, Paul Pogba and his agent indicated that he would have been willing to sign a new deal with United had they made a suitable offer at the appropriate time. When United eventually presented Paul Pogba with a new contract, their perceived under-the-table offer was not in line with what Pogba considered fair value.
It was surprising when The Athletic revealed that <a href="http://jetlagsportsbar.com">Manchester City</a> had held discussions with Paul Pogba, going so far as to meet face-to-face with Pep Guardiola and reportedly come up with a contract offer which would make him one of their highest earners (although not as high as Kevin De Bruyne or new signing Erling Haaland). Manchester City had also made an incredible offer to sign Pogba from fierce rivals United, with Pep Guardiola meeting Paul Pogba and the club drawing up a lucrative contract offer to show they wanted him. Those overtures fell on deaf ears, although Barcelona and Real Madrid were both keenly interested at the time. His impending transfer will signal a move back to Juventus.
As disappointing as his spell in Manchester has been, especially the last season, the documentary offers a few welcome reminders of the skills and qualities that made Paul Pogba such a desirable player and a man, his agent says, who looks far more at home playing for Juventus and France. United said Wednesday the France midfielder would be departing Old Trafford at the end of the month when his contract expires.
“It was a low-key end to a United career that brought so many individual high moments,” the club said.
“So many beautiful goals, assists and pieces of skill.
“For a boy that joined the academy at 16 to make over 200 United appearances and lift the Youth Cup, along with two major pieces of silverware, is something that should be applauded and celebrated.”
“We wish him all the best for the next steps on a remarkable journey,” the club said in a lengthy statement that detailed all the successes in his career.
The Frenchman has enjoyed a long association with United, having joined the club’s Academy from Le Havre at the age of just 16.
<a href="https://www.theguardian.com/football/2022/jun/01/manchester-united-open-talks-with-barcelona-over-frenkie-de-jong">Pogba</a> quickly progressed through the ranks, first impressing in the Under-18s and then swiftly moving upwards to the Reserves.
He made just seven senior appearances before his contract expired in July 2012, and he left to join Juventus.
He made his return in 2016, when <a href="https://footballtopjerseyssale.com/jurgen-klopp-stays-till-2026">Jose Mourinho</a> was manager, for a fee of around 105 million euros. He came from Juventus, where he had moved from United in 2012, having joined the English team’s academy at 16.
Pogba made 226 appearances, scoring 39 goals, in six injury-affected years in his second spell at United. During that time, he won the World Cup with France in 2018, but his performances for United never quite matched those for his national team, with United managers unable to find his best role.
He made 27 appearances in an injury-hit final season in his second spell. His final game for United proved to be the 4-1 loss at Liverpool in April when he hobbled off injured early in the first half.
New Destination
<a href="http://football90.net">Juventus</a> are confident that they have agreed on a deal to bring Paul Pogba back to the Allianz Stadium this summer. 
Pogba spent four remarkable seasons at La Vecchia Signora between 2012 and 2016, winning four consecutive Scudetti, two Coppa Italia, the 2013 Golden Boy award, and even being named in the UEFA Team of the Year in 2015.
Along with Pogba, Juventus are close to signing Angel Di Maria. The Argentine is also out of contract this summer, leaving PSG after seven hugely successful seasons in which he won a whopping 18 domestic trophies.

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Sotheby’s auctioned off the jersey that Argentina football icon Diego Maradona wore while scoring twice against England in the 1986 World Cup, including the memorable “Hand of God” goal, for USD 9.3 million.
Sotheby’s said seven bidders <a href="http://jetlagsportsbar.com/">competed</a> for the clothing in an auction that began April 20 and ended Wednesday morning, without revealing the buyer’s name.
“This historic shirt is a tangible reminder of an important moment not only in the history of sports, but in the history of the 20th century. This is arguably the most coveted football shirt to ever come to auction, and so it is fitting that it now holds the auction record for any object of its kind,” Sotheby’s head of streetwear and modern collectibles Brahm Wachter said in a statement after the sale.
The jersey had previously belonged to rival midfielder Steve Hodge, who switched it with Maradona after England lost 2-1.
Hodge, whose autobiography is titled “The Man with Maradona’s Shirt,” has loaned the jersey to the National Football Museum in Manchester for the past 20 years.
Maradona’s two goals – one controversial and one brilliant – in Mexico City’s seething Aztec Stadium cemented his place in <a href="https://footballtopjerseyssale.com/new-cardiff-city-concept-kit-emerges">football</a> history.
The first came just after halftime, when Hodge intercepted a pass on the edge of the England penalty area and flicked the ball back towards goal.
Running into the box, Maradona climbed alongside England’s goalkeeper Peter Shilton and punched the ball into the net. He later said the goal had been scored “a little with the head of Maradona, a little with the hand of God.”
Soon after, Maradona sped past five English defenders before gliding past Shilton and slotting home the “Goal of the Century” in a 2002 FIFA poll.
Argentina went on to win the final, and <a href="https://footballtopjerseyssale.com/frankfurt-wins-the-europa-league-on-penalties-against-rangers">Maradona</a>, who died of a heart attack in 2020, became a national hero in Argentina.
“The Golden Boy” held many Guinness World Records, including the most football (soccer) FIFA World Cup appearances as captain (16) and the most goals scored in a football (soccer) FIFA World Cup as captain (6).
He played 91 times for Argentina before taking over as head coach for their World Cup campaign in 2010.
He spent nearly ten years in Europe as a club player, with stints at Barcelona, Napoli, and Sevilla.
Record Breaking Shirt!
And so, just like the man who wore it, the iconic shirt has broken a couple of records at the auction!
The shirt is both the most expensive football (soccer) shirt sold at auction as well as the most expensive <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-61626746">sports</a> memorabilia sold at auction.
The shirt was most recently on display at the National Football Museum in Manchester, UK and had an estimated sale price of £4million ($5.25million).
But of course, the final price crossed that predicted line and almost doubled in value!

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Cardiff City is entering a new era, with the club ready to undergo one of the most major summer changes in recent years.
Steve Morison, the club’s <a href="https://footballtopjerseyssale.com/jurgen-klopp-stays-till-2026">manager</a>, faces a monumental task in rebuilding a roster that could lose up to 21 players this summer.
On Friday afternoon, the club completed the acquisition of Forest Green Rovers midfielder Ebou Adams, and there will undoubtedly be a number of new faces through the door before the transfer window closes.
However, not only will the coaching staff be altered. Cardiff’s outfit is also changing, with New Balance recently <a href="http://jetlagsportsbar.com/">confirmed</a> as the club’s new shirt supplier for the next four years, terminating their relationship with Adidas.
The Bluebirds are also the first Championship club to collaborate with the American firm, and fans are already wondering what to anticipate ahead of the new season.
The new kit is expected to be released in July, and there has already been much conjecture about what it might look like. At this time of year, concept kits are nothing new, but one design in <a href="https://footballtopjerseyssale.com/frankfurt-wins-the-europa-league-on-penalties-against-rangers">particular</a> has managed to whet the appetite for this summer’s new release.
Graphic designer RH Designs has put together an effort that seems to have been inspired by a couple of kits from the late 80s. It features the traditional Bluebird blue with a white pinstripes. A white rounded collar is complimented by white and yellow trim on the sleeves.
Some fans were seamlessly positive. “Really like this, echoes of the Buckleys brewery shirt of the late 80s,” said one. “Best concept I’ve seen so far hands down. Guaranteed it won’t look like any of them, they never do,” said another.
However, not everyone is convinced. Some have <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-10835651/Another-sickening-night-football-violence-Patrick-Vieira-ATTACKS-rival-fan-pitch-invasion.html">pointed</a> out that it looks like a shirt worn by another EFL club.
“Like it, but it is very Ipswich,” was another verdict, while one critic said: “I don’t like the white stripes or the two tone blue. It a big no for me. I’d go as far as to say it’s one of the worst home shirts I’ve seen us have aside from the red rebrand shit.”

<content:encoded><![CDATA[On Wednesday, Eintracht Frankfurt of Germany won the <a href="https://footballtopjerseyssale.com/">Europa League</a>, its first European trophy in 42 years, 5-4 in penalties over Scottish side Rangers, following the end of a final in Seville. Aaron Ramsey came on as a substitute during the closing stages of extra time to prepare for the shootout, but Kevin Trapp saved the Welshman’s 12-yard effort. At the same time, Raphael Borre scored the fifth and final penalty for Eintracht Frankfurt to be crowned champions, their first European trophy since 1980. Rafael Borre was the evening hero, having already cancelled out Joe Aribo’s opening goal for the Rangers, as Frankfurt won their first European trophy since 1980 and booked a spot in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League the following season.
Rangers ended the extra-time period as the stronger side, but two superb saves by Eintracht goalkeeper <a href="https://www.transfermarkt.co.in/kevin-trapp/profil/spieler/45672">Kevin Trapp</a> ensured that the Europa League final went to a clinical shootout. Rangers recovered from a setback, with both sides looking to secure a Europa League final within 90 minutes, but neither could prevent the clash from going into extra time. Eintracht goalkeeper Kevin Trapp saved an Aaron Ramsey spot-kick — Rangers fourth – and Eintracht Frankfurt were impeccable with their finishing, scoring all five goals after the match finished 1-1 after 120 minutes. Frankfurt, which had also won the competition in 1980, back when it was called the <a href="https://footballtopjerseyssale.com/">UEFA Cup</a>, had to come from behind to beat Southern Spain in the penalty shootout. It was the Rangers who came closest to winning the Europa League final; however, in the closing minutes, substitute Kemar Roofe flicked the ball into the penalty area to put past Ryan Kent.
Both clubs were seeking their second European titles in their histories, Rangers having won the Cup Winners Cup in 1972, EINTRACHT Frankfurt having lifted the UEFA Cup 42 years earlier. The victory means Eintracht Frankfurt’s return to the <a href="http://jetlagsportsbar.com">Champions League</a> for the first time since 1960, when Frankfurt reached the final and lost to Real Madrid in their lone appearance in Europe’s top club competition. The majority of fans lacked a ticket to the game at the 42,700-seat Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan. Approximately 100,000 Glasgow fans and 50,000 Frankfurt supporters travelled to the Spanish city for the game. On the other hand, Rangers supporters were allowed to watch the game on video screens at a second stadium in the town’s north. On Thursday, fans returning to Glasgow Airport expressed dissatisfaction with the outcome but said it had been a fantastic experience. A dozen police forces stood outside of the Louden Tavern throughout the evening, but there was no major incident.

Klopp’s deal was set to expire in 2024, with the expectation that he would take a sabbatical, but he has committed to a new contract. Klopp’s assistants, Pepijn Lijnders and Peter Krawietz, have also signed extensions through 2026.
Klopp told the club’s website: “There are so many words I could use to describe how I am feeling about this news… delighted, humbled, blessed, privileged and excited would be a start.
“There is a freshness about us as a club still and this energises me. For as long as I have been here, our owners have been unbelievably committed and energetic about this club and it is clear that right now this applies to our future as much as I’ve ever known.”
“Like any healthy relationship, it always has to be a two-way street; you have to be right for each other. The feeling we were absolutely right for each other is what brought me here in the first place, and it’s why I’ve extended previously.
“This one is different because of the length of time we have been together. I had to ask myself the question: Is it right for Liverpool that I stay longer?
“Along with my two assistant managers, Pep Lijnders and Pete Krawietz, we came to the conclusion it was a ‘Yes!’
He also said his wife <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/news/who-is-ulla-sandrock-jurgen-klopp-s-wife-who-persuaded-him/blt5983f7075141ffb3">Ulla</a> was instrumental in his decision, adding: “The most important contract I signed in my life was with Ulla.
“We sat at the kitchen table, and she said: ‘I can’t see us leaving in 2024.’ That is where it all started. After six and a half years on Merseyside, it seems the married couple have settled in and become accustomed to life in the area.
Liverpool are in contention for a historic Quadruple this season. They have already won the Carabao Cup and will face Chelsea in the FA Cup final while still being in the race for the Premier League title and Champions League.
Liverpool have one step in the Champions League final after securing a 2-0 win over Villarreal in the semifinal first leg. Klopp’s team is one point behind league leaders Manchester City, with five remaining campaign matches.
Klopp has guided Liverpool to five trophies since joining the club.
He guided them to a sixth <a href="http://footballhoops.com">European Cup</a> success in 2018-19, but arguably his biggest achievement to date was in 2020 when he ended Liverpool’s 30-year wait for a 19th league title.
Klopp’s move to a high-pressing style has been a crucial part of Liverpool’s success. Under him, they posted 97 points to finish second in the Premier League to Manchester City in 2018-19 before reaching 99 a year later to lift the title.
Mike Gordon, president of Liverpool’s owners Fenway Sports Group, said: “Jurgen is the perfect figurehead for the modern Liverpool FC.”
