  210. <p>While the Institute draws on research and theory, it is not an academic program. It is an experiential leadership development opportunity with certification. The bespoke nature of the agenda and immersive environment of the residential course is designed to foster personal connection, create space for in-person conversations, with an ability to return to topics in sidebars or in breakfast discussions. These water-cooler moments, the fireside chats and small group “deep dives”, all remain at the heart of this unique and acutely personalized residential course.</p>
  211. <p>The residential agenda is co-designed by the delegates to optimize the pace, content and themes in common. It includes action planning and culminates in an agreed commitment to continuing mutual support. With follow-up virtual sessions, alumni mentorship and engagement, the Institute allows for continuity of dialogue and development as you broaden your perspective and networks, far beyond the one-year commitment. Applications are welcome from individuals with broader health backgrounds, policymakers, oral health support organizations, industry and academics, as well as dental professionals. This inclusive model contributes to the diversity of thought as we address the multifaceted nature of global oral health issues.</p>
