His Unfold story
Hussam recently relocated to Dubai to compete for a pro card. While he misses California, he acknowledges that Dubai is a wonderful city with a diverse social scene. He also mentions that being close to his family, whom he hadn’t seen in over 7 years, was a big factor in his decision to move. The decision to move abroad was difficult for Hussam and his family, particularly because it was motivated by his father’s illness.
He said, “Life can be challenging at times, but that’s just how it is. When I decided to move to Dubai, I couldn’t find any compelling reasons to stay in California. The lifestyle in California is different from what I was used to in the Middle East and everything felt difficult and uncertain. It was like trying to navigate a dense forest with no help or guidance. California is a beautiful state with great weather, but ultimately it wasn’t enough to make me want to stay there permanently.”
I am currently in Dubai with many plans in mind. My goal is to earn my pro card, no matter my age. The important thing is to reach that goal and then find a new one. Dubai is an amazing place to live with a positive atmosphere that makes people want to stay. The gyms here are particularly great with a good vibe and supportive community, which is essential for success in this sport.
My worst experience living in California was feeling like I couldn’t do anything. If there was a more active social life there, I may not have considered moving to Dubai. Life is never perfect but only Allah. You can find places that align with your interests and help you navigate the challenges that arise. Dubai has offered me many opportunities to pursue my passions.

A man arrested near Donald Trump’s Florida golf course had written a note months earlier stating his intent to kill the former president, according to court filings.
“This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump,” read the note, which prosecutors say was left at a witness’s home several months before the September 15 incident.
The suspect, 58-year-old Ryan Routh, is facing two federal gun charges and could face more. He is scheduled to appear in federal court later today.
The note, addressed to “The World,” described a premeditated assassination attempt. “I tried my best and gave it all the effort I could,” Routh wrote. He also promised a cash reward to anyone “who can complete the job.”
Court documents reveal that the box containing the letter, ammunition, building materials, tools, and four phones, was left at the witness’s home before the incident. Prosecutors say the witness opened the box after hearing about the attempted assassination.
Routh has been detained since his September 15 arrest. A Secret Service agent on duty at Trump’s West Palm Beach golf course noticed Routh’s face in nearby foliage before spotting a rifle. The agent drew his weapon and fired when Routh allegedly moved his gun, though Routh did not fire back, according to police.
After fleeing the scene and abandoning the weapon, Routh was arrested on Interstate 95 following a tip from a witness. He was found with 11 rounds of ammunition, one of which was loaded in the rifle.
Investigators also uncovered a list in Routh’s vehicle detailing Trump’s public appearances between August and October. Phone records show Routh had been near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort from August 18 to September 15.
Routh, originally from North Carolina, has a history of legal trouble, including charges for stolen goods from 1997 to 2010. He most recently lived in Hawaii.

A security source told Reuters that the Israeli army launched an air strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut on Monday evening, targeting Ali Karaki, the third man in Hezbollah.
The Israeli military said it carried out a targeted strike in Beirut but did not elaborate on the targets, while in an earlier statement it said it had bombed about 800 targets linked to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley on Monday.
“Among the targets struck were buildings where Hezbollah was hiding rockets, missiles, launch pads, drones and additional terrorist infrastructure,” the army said in a statement.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said the Israeli military was “crushing” Hezbollah’s infrastructure built over decades in today’s strikes in Lebanon, and that the terror group’s leader Hassan Nasrallah was now alone.
“In recent days, we have demolished what Hezbollah built over 20 years,” the defense minister’s office was quoted as saying by the Times of Israel. “Nasrallah is left alone, entire units of the Radwan Force are no longer operational, and tens of thousands of rockets have been destroyed.”

Right from its disarmingly low-key intro, the new single from 23-year-old American songwriter and producer Ewreckage (also known as Eric Jay Santos) hits you right in the sun-drenched feels. The first few bars of ‘Crystal Blue’ suggest a simplicity that belies the track’s rich complexity, with sparse guitars and piano lines straight out of early-2000s summer nostalgia, before switching things up with a thumpingly orchestral bass line. That initially surprising juxtaposition is a lot of fun – playful percussion and that pomp-filled undercurrent spar beneath the track’s delicate vocals – and gives ‘Crystal Blue’ a pulsing heartbeat upon which to hang those feel-good vibes. And that glorious sense of longing permeates – “Running back to that beach/Where the water’s crystal blue/I don’t know where our journeys lead/but I choose right here with you.” It’s a festival-esque flashback, a heartfelt love letter to summers gone by and a masterclass in musical build-and-release. The Iftaar is the occasion for all of us to come together and celebrate the spirit of the festival, and to meet family and friends under one roof is a delight always; our first edition of this Ghabga is marking new beginnings, ”said Mr. Ahmed Sabah Alsalloom, the Member of Council of Representatives in Bahrain. On the menu was the special item Goozymade out of Lamb carcass and Basmati rice with various other items including Indian cuisine sour cream and Khobez bread.
Directors of the Asian Arab Chamber of Commerce including executives members welcomed the guests, who were present at the BNI India Bahrain Meeting with presence of the BNI President Arunoday. Ramadan is a holy month bestowed by the Almighty Allah to reap a bounty of rewards for the good work done and the Ghabga dinner is an occasion where families, friends meet and greet each other and share food with one another. This is a true spirit of brotherhood which helps people to develop understanding and good will with their brethren.
We are honoured to be chosen as this year’s host for the Annual Asian Arab Interfaith Iftar dinner and provide a space in which faith and food can interconnect.
‘Now more than ever we are needed to unite for nature. The evening hopes to spark important conversations about the natural world, how we can come together to protect it and inspire the next generation of advocates for the planet’ said Mr. Ardi Hermawan , the Indonesian Ambassador in Bahrain.
With over 150 guests from all backgrounds in attendance, the evening centred around how people can use their faith to protect the natural word and encourage others to become advocates for the planet.
The AACC spent the evening which was bookended by the content created by the AACC’s learning team and included networking sessions for business people in attendance to explore their perspectives on nature and how to act as individuals, communities and future leaders.
