Azar started his soccer career with the youth team of the Royal Stade Bryno club.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;div&gt;He joined the French club Lille Youth (2005-2007) from AFC Tubizé and made his professional debut for Lille in 2007 at the age of 16. Azar became the youngest Ligue 1 MVP in history in the 2010-11 season. Lille also won the league title for the first time in 56 years. In 2011-12, he was named MVP for the second consecutive season, scoring 20 goals and providing 18 assists in 38 regular-season games.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Azar made his Premier League debut in 2012 in a Chelsea shirt.
