Thegoodpeople today announced the opening of its first subsidiary in the United States. Founded in 2012 by Geir Herfindal and Baldvin Georgsson, Thegoodpeople has provided retail consulting and fit-out services across 50 countries and now aims to tap into the North American market. 
“We are excited to expand our presence in North America,” said Geir Herfindal, CEO of Thegoodpeople AB. “With contracts already in place, we are ready to bring our retail expertise and strong industry partnerships to the U.S. and Canadian markets.”
“The U.S. market presents a significant growth opportunity for us,” said Baldvin Georgsson, President of Thegoodpeople Inc. “We are confident our global expertise will allow us to become a trusted partner for retail solutions across the region.” 
The new U.S. office, located in Fort Worth, Texas, is now fully operational. Thegoodpeople completed its first project in Washington, D.C., in August and September, marking the beginning of its expansion into the North American market.

Sedan starten 2012 har grundarna och ägarna Geir Herfindal och Baldvin Georgsson haft ansvarsfördelningen där Geir varit styrelsens ordförande och Baldvin som vd haft ansvaret för den operativa driften. Nu stiger Baldvin av som vd för Thegoodpeople AB för att anta en ny utmaning som vd för leksaksföretaget Lekia i Sverige och Norge. I och med detta lämnar han över det operativa ansvaret till Geir, och tar istället över rollen som ordförande.
– Jag ser väldigt fram emot att leda Thegoodpeople till nästa nivå, säger Geir Herfindal. Nu har vi tillsammans fått ett fotfäste på flera marknader och med viktiga ramavtal i botten ser jag framemot fortsatt tillväxt. Detaljhandeln har sällan varit så spännande som just nu.

Management change at Thegoodpeople AB
 From 1 October 2018, Geir Herfindal will act as new CEO at Thegoodpeople AB.
Since the start of 2012, the founders and owners Geir Herfindal and Baldvin Georgsson had the distribution of responsibilities where Geir was the chairman of the board and Baldvin as CEO was responsible for the operations. Baldvin now leaves as CEO of Thegoodpeople AB to assume a new challenge as CEO of the toy company Lekia in Sweden and Norway. In doing so, he leaves the operational responsibility to Geir, and instead takes over the role of chairman.
“I look very forward to leading Thegoodpeople to the next level,” says Geir Herfindal. Now we have gained a foothold in several markets and with important frame agreements, I look forward to continued growth. Retail has rarely been as exciting as at the moment.
Thegoodpeople AB offers service to retailers and has since the beginning of 2012 had the advantage of helping international retailers such as IKEA, Falabella, Dairy Farm, Granit, KappAhl, Yves Rocher, and others, and delivered projects in 38 countries and four continents. www.thegoodpeople.se
