In an old video, Zohran, the current political figure in the U.S who has been titled as a Democratic nominee to the Mayor of <strong>New York City, </strong>is captured protesting against the Indian government.</p> <p>In a video, Zohran is depicted standing alongside Sikh protesters in New York City and saying something negative about the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and mentioning the fact that <strong>Babri Masjid</strong> was destroyed, which is a very loose criterion and a controversial activity in the Indian history. She took to X (formerly Twitter) to express her disappointment and anger over Zohran’s statements in the video. Kangana reacted to Zohran and said that she felt shocked to listen to his views, and also claimed that Zohran happens to be closer to the Pakistani ideologies as compared to the Indian ideologies. I can hear the Indian coming up, but she wrote he is more Pakistani.</p> <p>She even lashed out against his parents, particularly his mother Mira Nair, who is an Indian born respected filmmaker who has been conferred with the Padma Shri. Kangana pointed out that Mira grew up and was born in India and got married to a political thinker, Mahmood Mamdani, whose origins are Gujrati. It was stated that their son Zohran had lost his faith in Hinduism, which Kangana found very alarming. Sarcastically, she said, On a different note, I have met Mira ji a few times- congratulations to the parents, meaning she was disappointed at how their son turned out, who is Indian and famous</p> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Kangana said in her post:</strong></h2> <p>His mother is Mira Nair, our finest filmmaker, Padma Shri awardee, a dear Bharat (India) daughter, and resident of New York. She got married to Mahmood Mamdani, an award-winning Gujarati writer. They have a son named Zohran. He speaks as a Pakistani rather than an Indian. Where is his Hindu heritage or blood? Now he is willing to scrub Hinduism. Wow! It is the story all over.”</p> <p>The response of Kangana was in connection with the renewed video clip in which Zohran is pictured being used in actively participating in the anti-BJP protests and expressing his objection over the Babri Masjid issue. Zohran, a BJP sympathiser, posted the video, saying Zohran had left a group of protestors chanting slogans in Times Square and allegedly spewed abuses at Hindus and Lord Ram, a revered deity in Hinduism. The words in the original post where the video was posted were rude and violent. We learned through that movie how necessary it is to get to know children who are differently inclined learners. This is to say that now, years later, <strong>Sitaare Zameen Par</strong> arrives as a sort of sequel, but this time the emphasis is a bit changed. It is not a mere story of childhood plight rather it is a story of what becomes of such children as they grow old.</p> <p>Most of them have travelled life with the baggage of hurt that was caused by being misunderstood, unloved, and not encouraged at the most needed time. This is what is depicted in this movie when it comes to those wounds we have as children. It is something that makes us hopeful as well. It writes, you are not broken and still you are shining the way you are-just like a star on earth.</p> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Why Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par is worth watching</strong></h2> <p>The most amazing part of this movie is that it is so emotional and real. The way Aamir Khan has acted is beautiful not the dramatic or over the top sort of way, but in a touching sort of manner. His character is someone to whom you may relate, at least a teacher, a friend, a mentor, or even a superhero type who wants to heal others but does not lose the pain they experienced.</p> <p>The most reaching detail of the film is that it involves real kids with learning disabilities and not actors who can simulate the problem. When you watch them, you may touch their emotions-happiness, misunderstanding, terror, euphoria. They give the impression that the film is raw and authentic as opposed to another super polished film.</p> <p>The songs of Sitaare Zameen Par also contribute a lot in moving the heart. The lyrics are not very complicated, yet strong. There is one such song, Chhoti Udaan (meaning small flight) which is already a favorite. The lyrics mention the fact that, even though we may be chained to the ground by issues or past traumas, we can dream big and reach the sky.</p> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Sitaare Zameen Par is a film about emotions</strong></h2> <p>This film is not the movie of sets and action. It is concerning emotions. It is about a reminder that people of any age deserve to be heard, appreciated, and helped. There will be a lot of adults who will recognize themselves in this movie and will recall what they once were as a child all dreamy with a promise of nobody to believe in them.</p> <p>And therefore when you are about to watch a movie on the weekend, do watch the Sitaare Zameen Par. He added that not everyone will go to the theatre when the same movies are being posted online just after few weeks of being aired at the cinemas.</p> <p>And what we do, Aamir said, what we do is go and tell people to go to the theatre to look at a movie. However, when they fail to do so we tell them, No problem, you can see it in 8 weeks in the comfort of your living room. Then why should anybody spend cash at the theatre?”</p> <p>In order to put this point in an even more understandable way, Aamir presented a simple example. Well, sort of like I attempt to sell you a glass. Unless you want to buy it, I will tell you, I will send it to in your home in 8 weeks, as a gift. You will wait, of course! You will not purchase it. That is exactly what is happening to movies nowadays.</p> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>This trend will kill spirit of cinematography</strong></h2> <p>Aamir thinks such a tendency can kill the spirit of cinematography. He reckons that people prefer the theatre movie watching experience more than watching a story. We are all used to going to the cinema and watching movies. It is rather magic -you are on the dark with hundreds of people, you laugh together, you cry together, and it all feels like you feel. We would have complained about the movie even though we did not like the movie. That is what made it special.”</p> <p>The actor even received lucrative deals up to as much as 60 to 65 crore by OTT Sites so as to release his movies at the earliest into the online domain, but he refused. He claimed that he did not want to offend the theatre culture. He even requested that the platforms wait 6 months to display his movie, but they denied.</p> <p>His position is at a moment when the world is evolving, especially following the pandemic. People are accustomed to watching on TV or their phone nowadays when they are alone.
