Bamford.</p><p>While speaking on talksport, Beckford has claimed that Leeds have been the best footballing side in the Championship this season.</p><p>He has also claimed that Bamford has done well in 2019/20 and that the 26-year-old striker has enjoyed a ‘phenomenal season’ for Leeds.</p><blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><img charset="utf-8"></script></p><p>Leeds United are top of the Championship table and are firm favourites to secure promotion to the Premier League next season.</p><p>Although Marcelo Bielsa’s side are yet to hit the top gear since the restart, they have done just enough to pick up valuable points.</p><p>The likes of West Bromwich Albion and Brentford have also played some exquisite football at times this season. But Leeds have played a really eye-catching football under the Argentine, and have maintained consistency in their performance throughout the long campaign.</p><p>Bamford has scored 15 goals in the Championship this season and he is the club’s top scorer.</p><p>But at the same time, he has faced a lot of criticism from the Leeds fans this season. Bamford can be very frustrating to watch at times because he misses loads of opportunities to score.</p><p>Having said that, he is central to Bielsa’s plans. The Scottish defender’s talent is beyond any doubt and he just needs to adapt to the style and intensity of English football.</p><p>Tierney was quite impressive against Leicester City and Sutton, who has watched Tierney for years with Celtic, said that it was only a matter of time before the young defender showed his true quality.</p><p>He also heaped praise on Tierney’s attitude and commitment to the game.</p><p>Sutton’s tweet read:</p><blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p dir="ltr" lang="en">Brilliant to see Kieran Tierney doing really well now. now.</p><p>Before his move to Arsenal, Tierney was highly rated across Europe and he has the talent to develop into one of the best left-backs in the league.</p><p>Mikel Arteta is a fantastic coach and he could be the man to unlock the former Celtic star’s potential.</p><p>The 23-year-old has started just 9 games in the Premier League this season but he has started Arsenal’s last three and he season.</p><p>The Bhoys have been left with Scott Bain as the club’s only senior goalkeeper at the moment following<a href="https://theathletic.com/1899589/2020/07/01/craig-gordon-celtic-hearts-forster-legacy-bain/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"> Craig Gordon’s departure on a free transfer to Hearts last week</a>.</p><p>The Scottish champions were expecting to sign Fraser Forster on loan or on a permanent deal this summer after he heavily impressed last season.</p><p>The Southampton goalkeeper joined Celtic on loan last season and was simply outstanding for the club, helping Neil Lennon’s side win their ninth consecutive SPL title.</p><p>However, the 32-year-old <a href="https://sportslens.com/report-fraser-foster-has-decided-to-fight-for-his-southampton-place-and-not-return-celtic-on-loan/302740/">has decided to stay with the Saints and fight for his places.</a></p><p>Lennon claimed last week that the <a href="https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/53306166">Scottish champions had agreed a deal with Southampton to bring him back</a> for the club’s bid for a 10th successive title after his loan spell last season.</p><p>Celtic have suffered a massive blow after Forster has apparently declined a loan return to the Scottish club.</p><p><a href="https://theathletic.com/1906147/2020/07/08/celtic-forster-hart-barkas-marshall-keeper/">According to reports from The Athletic</a>, the news left Neil Lennon and many of Forster’s former team-mates shocked and disappointed.</p><p>Celtic need to sign at least one goalkeeper in the next few weeks and they have been linked with a move for Joe Hart and David Marshall.</p><p>The Hoops have recently.</p><p>The versatile 30-year-old has been a key player for David Moyes this season and he has claimed that he could retire with the Hammers.</p><p>Antonio is a handy option in defence and attack. Wolves’ interest in the player is hardly a surprise. The West Ham star could prove to be a superb addition for Nuno’s side although a transfer seems very unlikely.</p><p>He can play as a winger, a striker as well as a full back. His versatility would be a massive bonus for any side he joins. Antonio has 4 goals and 3 assists in 14 Premier League starts for West Ham this season.</p><p>He will be crucial to their hopes of staying up this season.</p><p>It will be interesting to see if Wolves make a move for the player this summer. The striker now has 22 goals to his name this season and he is leading the race for the Premier League Golden boot.</p><p>Arsenal went ahead halfway through the first half when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored. The Gunners had their chances to increase the lead but Schmeichel kept the Foxes in the game.</p><p>Leicester had a great chance to get back into the game through Kelechi Iheanacho but ultimately they had to rely on Vardy to get back on level terms.</p><p>Arsenal had a man sent off 15 minutes from time and Arteta will be disappointed to have dropped two points after being ahead for most of the game.</p><p>Meanwhile, former Leicester City star and BBC pundit Gary Lineker has now reacted to the result on Twitter.</p><p>He thinks it was a fair result in the end and he also heaped praise on Jamie Vardy for delivering when his team needed him to.</p><p>His tweet read:</p><blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p dir="ltr" lang="en">Take that.
