Clearly, 2021 is the year of NoCap. After an unfortunate stint in prison, Alabama native Dr. Dre blessed his fans with classic tracks like “38 Sides,” “On Purpose,” “Dismiss You,” “Time Speed,” “Vaccine,” “Unwanted Freestyle,” “Sun Up To Sun Down,” “200 Or Better,” “Ghetto Can’t Be Saved,” and “Flaws.” NoCap continues the trend on yesterday’s music release, “Fortune Teller,” a modern tune in which the artist ruminates about his circle, women, personal style, financial goals, and more:
“Fortune Teller” is accompanied by a short clip and features a well-dressed NoCap performing the song in a variety of settings, including nearby some train tracks and in the heart of the city that he is currently in.
During the period between 2015 and 2020, NoCap released one full-length album entitled Steel Human, which included 16 tracks featuring Jacquees, Lil Uzi Vert, Boosie Badazz, and DaBaby. In 2019, The Backend Child and The Hood Dictionary, and in 2018, Neighborhood Hero, the star and affiliate of Never Broke Again had large impacts. As well as his own music, NoCap has contributed to the likes of Doe Boy “Look In My Eyes,” YFN Lucci “Used To, Pt. 2,” Yung Bleu “Dead & Famous,” Sniper Gang and Kodak Black “Let’s Step,” and No Savage “Feeling Down.”

Guapdad 4000 has recently released the music video for his “Money” single, which was followed by the release of the official music video. In fact, even though the offering is new to most of his fans, it’s an old release from the vault which has been updated with a new cover. Earlier in August, the Oakland rapper did a similar thing to re-release his “Scamboy” album.
A short time later, he returned to deliver another track before the ball dropped, titled “Got Me Bent,” featuring Nate Curry and Jace. Continuing his streak of consistency, Guapdad releases the latest single, “I Need Bands.” Guapdad puts some production by Linkup on the track:
Guapdad 4000 and !llmind unveiled the deluxe edition of their joint album 1176 earlier this year in June, which includes a guest appearance from Rick Ross. As a Bay Area legend, Too $hort and Rayven Justice also appeared on “Oaklandish” last year to represent their city. Aside from that, he also released his street racer “Alpha” music video, which was soon followed up by an amusing remix featuring fellow artist Bfb Da Packman.

According to reports, 2 Chainz is close to completing his seventh studio LP, Dope Don’t Self Itself, which should be released on February 4. Having recently released 42 Dugg-assisted “Million Dollars Worth of Game,” a man by the name of Toni & Titi Boi continued the momentum with “Pop Music,” featuring BEATKING and Moneybagg Yo. They bring their strip club vibe to the song:
A video clip accompanying the track “Pop Music” shows 2 Chainz & Co. outside with several women who spend little time showing off their dance moves, which may not be appropriate for work. In addition to being able to buy high-end whips, jewelry, and cash in abundance, this product demonstrates to what extent these artists’ lifestyles are truly elite.
When it is released, Dope Don’t Sell Itself will be immediately followed by 2020’s So Help Me God!, which featured 15 tracks featuring Chief Keef, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Brent Faiyaz, Kanye West, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Mulatto, Rick Ross, Kevin Gates, Ty Dolla Sign, and more. In addition, 2 Chainz re-released his classic mixtape T.R.U. REALigion to mark its tenth year. The mixtape also contains the songs “Sofa” and “Wreck” with Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa, respectively.

Shensea’s long-awaited debut album is currently being eagerly anticipated worldwide. Since then, the Jamaican emcee has shared several noteworthy singles: “Be Good,” “Run Run,” “You’re The One I Love” featuring Rvssian, as well as “Dolly” on Jan. 21, she winds up the year with the amazingly sultry “Lick,” which she recorded with Megan Thee Stallion and is produced by Joseph L’Étranger, BoogzDaBeast, and Murda Beatz. Shenseea has made several big appearances outside of her own music as well, such as her collaboration with Canadian star Belly on “How I’m Feelin”. Her talents were also employed by Kanye West on his LP DONDA, which can be found on the Madden NFL 22 soundtrack. Moreover, Shenseea appeared last year at Hot 97’s Summer Jam, sharing the stage with the likes of CJ, DreamDoll, Rotimi, and Swizz Beatz.
Earlier this month, Shenseea performed a freestyle over Skillibeng’s “Crocodile Teeth” instrumental on Funkmaster Flex’s show in the same station. As for Megan Thee Stallion, she recently released the mixtape Something For Thee Hotties, which featured 21 tracks and collaborations with Dino Btw, Juicy J, and VickeeLo. Skillibeng released The Prodigy in 2020. The project included 35 tracks and additional contributions from Jakal, Charlie Pro, Dre Island, Prince Swanny, Jada Kingdom, Dovey Magnum, Tommy Lee Sparta, Quenga, and Popcaan were all featured on the Dane Ray-produced “Pree,” which keeps the street-oriented focus the collaborators are known for:
For Out Deh Records, “Pree” receives an animated video from Nerv. Skillibeng’s subject matter mirrors the video’s montage of images, which includes shots of him smoking, being surrounded by women, falling into empty space, taking a motorcycle ride, and more. As the two rock matching jerseys with their names emblazoned on the back, Popcaan also appears as a virtual character.
On the Crocodile Teeth LP, Skillibeng continues his wildly successful hit single with 12 new cuts, while also getting contributions from Lil Zack, Popcaan, Rich The Kid, Spice, Stefflon Don, Davianah,and Bobby Shmurda. Also in 2021, The Prodigy: Ladies Only Edition was released, featuring contributions from Jay Critch, Rich The Kid, Shotta G, Honey Milan, Projexx, and more. There have been a variety of releases and collaborations from Skillibeng previously, ranging from “East Syde” “Mission,” with F.S. and Quenga, “Grade 1,” “Money Tree,”“Internet War,” “Time With You” “Soso Badniss,” with Laza Morgan, and “Wollan” alongside Unknown T.

A few months ago, ABC officially premiered its new hip-hop musical series Queens, in which Eve, Brandy, Naturi Naughton, and Nadine Velazquez take on the role of Nasty Bitches, a hip-hop group reunited in the 90s after losing their fame. Our fans have been treated to quite a few visuals so far, including “I’m That Chick,” “Nasty Girl,” “The Introduction” “Hear Me,” “Wrecking Ball,” and “Heart of Queens,” featuring rapper and actor Cam’ron.
As part of our preview of the upcoming episode, we previewed RemIt follows Ma’s appearance on “Queens” earlier this month with the songs “Lady Z Strikes Back,” and “Best of Me.” Today (19 Jan), the new single “Preparaté” is being released which features Def Jam recording artist OHNO performing in Spanish:
All music for “Queens” is composed by Zahir McGee and performed by the show’s stars under the guidance of executive producer Swizz Beatz. In the show’s plot, Nasty Girl rose to fame after their number-one single, “Nasty Girl,” ushered them into the limelight as one of the best girl groups of their generation. Although the band was critically and commercially successful, internal conflict and jealousy plagued it.
The show’s stars perform all the original music in Queens, which was composed by Zahir McGee and directed by Swizz Beatz. Considering the storyline of the show, those girls are once regarded as one of the greatest girl groups of their generation. After their chart-topping single, “Nasty Girl,” the group was once lauded as one of the greatest girl groups of all time. Critics and fans loved the band, but jealousy and internal conflict plagued the group.

In addition to releasing two top tier singles in the past couple of weeks, Fka Twigs last week unleashed a mixtape called CAPRISONGS, which includes 17 tracks and features from Pa Salieu, Jorja Smith, Dystopia, Daniel Caesar, Unknown T, Rema, Solo, Shygirl, and The Weeknd, the latter of whom contributed vocals to the infectious track “tears in the club.” In addition to CAPRISONGS, an additional visual was featured for the opening number “ride the dragon,” a twigs, Jeff Kleinman, Sounwave, Koreless, and El Guincho production in which the British star discusses her music release with her fans:
In the accompanying video for “ride the dragon,” Aidan Zamiri directs FKA Twigs while her dancers perform choreographed dance moves guerilla-style on the streets of Hackney. As a result, security personnel and building employees can be seen trying to stop the event, however, the party just continues at a new location.
With CAPRISONGS, Paul follows up his 2019 album MAGDALENE, which featured an appearance by Future. After that, she re-released loose cuts like “Why Don’t You Love Me” featuring Dua Lipa, “Measure Of A Man” alongside Central Cee, and “Don’t Judge Me” “Anarchy,” featuring Fred and Headie One again a song which will appear as the lead single for the film The King’s Man.

The Rod Wave is back on the road. On Thursday (Jan. 17), the Florida artist released his first official single of 2022, “Cold December.” Production credits include ThatBossEvan, TnTXD, JB, and Luke Walker. This track, like his entire discography, sees Wave delivering emotionally charged lyrics about loneliness and wanting someone to love him during the holiday season:
In addition to the song’s audio, viewers can also check out a visual accompanying this song entitled “Cold December.” The song begins with the following message:
He then feels warm by a fire, chops wood, and sits at a dining room table while watching a snowy scene in the mountains. As he watches the scene, he considers his apparent interest in another man. The imagery is definitely reminiscent of the kind Rod Wave has developed a reputation for.
A single feature from Polo G was recorded for Rod Wave’s standout single “Richer” on his third studio album SoulFly, released last year. A few months after the album’s initial release, he upgraded it with SoulFly Deluxe, which included nine additional tracks and collaborations with Lil Durk and Kodak Black. As a whole, Wav’s debut album SoulFly occupied the top spot of the Billboard 200 and reached 130,000 album equivalents in its first week.

In the last week, Gunna released his third studio album, DS4EVER, which also serves as the latest entry in his Drip Season series. 19 tracks appear on the project, which also features contributions from Kodak Black, 21 Savage, Chlöe, G Herbo, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, Chris Brown, and more.
Before the album’s release, fans were expecting it to feature a collaboration with Drake titled “P power” but that didn’t turn out to be the case. Metro Boomin’s production is now available on the extended version of DS4EVER, and it perfectly mirrors the over theme of the project with these Toronto to Atlanta duos rapping about their various adventures with women:
With Gunna and Drake’s chemistry on wax, it’s apparent they have experience working together since their past collaborations have included top tier tracks like Gunna and Lil Baby Drip Harder banger “Never Recover,” and more recent singles like “Solid,” which can be heard on Gunna, Young Thug, and Young Stoner Life chart-topping album Slime Language 2.
As reported by HitsDailyDouble, DS4EVER has an impressive first-week forecast, with predicted sales of 144,000 album equivalent units. In that case, Gunna’s previous album WUNNA would be eclipsed, which still sold 111,000 copies and earned a Platinum award in 2020.

In addition to the title track featuring Migos, Jim Jones and DJ Drama have paired up for the 25-track We Set The Trends project, which includes contributions from Dave East, Icewear Vezzo, Pressa, Fivio Foreign, Fabolous, Maino, Rah Swish, and more. A video accompanying the new album shows Jones unfurling his trademark opening number, “Intro (Buckmouth),” which reasserts his position as one of the greatest:
Featuring Shula The Don, the video associated with the track “Intro (Buckmouth)” primarily depicts Jones and his closest companions having a night out. Thus, the film features plenty of jewelry shots, smoke shots, and fine dining shots.
The Fraud Department, Harry Fraud’s joint effort with Jim Jones almost a year ago, featured 11 tracks and features from Belly, French Montana, Dave East, Maino, Jay Worthy, Curren$y, Conway the Machine, and more. Over the years, Dipset general has added notable contributions to a number of songs, including Peter Rosenberg “Snake Eyes,” Dave East “Money or Power,” Benny the Butcher “Longevity,” Young Stoner Life and Young Thug “Mack Truck,” Papoose “King Kong,” DJ Kay Slay “Rolling 110 Deep,” Curren$y “The Beach,” and more.
