He is also famous as a ‘golf brother and sister’ with his older sister Lee Min-ji (28), who has 10 wins on the LPGA Tour, including the US Women’s Open. Lee Min-woo’s special memes such as “Let’s cook” and “Let him cook” are trending on social media, bringing joy to fans online as well. Lee Min-woo attracted attention by appearing wearing a chef’s hat after winning the Australian PGA Championship last year. If we were to evaluate the early part of the 2024 season, it could be called ‘steady.’ In the first six competitions this season, I was able to complete four rounds without missing the cut. He competed for his first win at the Cognizant Classic and achieved an excellent result, tying for second place. It was fun. The game was delayed due to the weather, so it wasn’t a very favorable situation, but it still remains a pleasant memory. Thanks to my tie for second place at the Cognizant Classic, I was able to participate in the Arnold Palmer Invitational, which was my first signature competition. I finished the competition in a tie for 44th place, and I was happy to be able to participate in a competition that honors a historical figure, as did the Bay Hill Course.
After tying for 54th place at the Players Championship last month, he missed the cut at the Valspar Championship. I currently live in Las Vegas and am truly enjoying life in Nevada. I was hoping for a life in Vegas, but the timing was right after I got my tour card last year, so it was all the more meaningful.
Las Vegas is truly fantastic. I try to eat dinner on the Strip often and watch a lot of different shows. Whenever you visit downtown Las Vegas, you will see a smile never leave your face. It’s very different from Australia. Las Vegas is a truly special city. The city lights, casinos, and even people’s outfits are very different from Australia. I currently live 25 minutes away from the Strip by car. Everyone says they enjoy gambling and partying in Las Vegas, but I have yet to experience it myself. It’s so much fun just walking around and looking at the city lights. In this respect, Las Vegas is truly a city that people cannot help but love.
I mainly practice at The Summit Club in Las Vegas. This was the host course for the 2021 CJ Cup. I mainly practice with Colin Morikawa and Kurt Kityama, and I am learning a lot from Colin, who won two major championships, and Kurt, who won his first and first win on the tour last year. We often play 9 holes, compete with each other, and have fun practicing. We spend a lot of time together on the practice field, and I feel fortunate to be able to work with them. As you may know from the article, we have been working with a brand called Lululemon since 2024. If you know it well and use it appropriately, it can be of great help in managing your score. These are golf rules that weekend golfers must know.
A mistake on the tee shot became an obstacle to winning for the first time in his life. The unlucky protagonist is long hitter Lee Seung-taek. Korea’s homegrown fighter jet KF-21 under development is set to conduct its first live-fire test with long-range air-to-air Meteor missiles this week, sources said Tuesday.A prototype of the KF-21 is scheduled to conduct the test over the waters off the country’s southern coast Wednesday, according to sources familiar with the issue.In March 2023, two prototype aircraft succeeded in separating the Meteor test missiles in midair.If the test is successfully conducted, it is expected to extend the KF-21’s long-range and demonstrate interception capabilities.
A successful test would make the KF-21 join the ranks of select fighter jets, including the Eurofighter Typhoon, Rafael and Gripen in achieving this feat.The Meteor missile is capable of flying at over Mach 4, equivalent to four times the speed of sound, and can intercept targets over 200 kilometers away. An annual LGBTQ festival will take place in downtown Seoul, but not at its usual spot of Seoul Plaza, organizers said Tuesday, after their requests to use the venue were rejected for the second straight year.A queer parade, slated for June 1, will be held near the Euljiro 1-ga area and Jonggak Station in downtown Seoul as part of the 25th Seoul Queer Culture Festival (SQCF), the organizing committee said at a press conference.The committee is in discussion with police to decide the details of the parade route.It marks the second consecutive year the annual queer festival has not been held in the Seoul Plaza.

As the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index (HSCEI) has recently been showing a bullish recovery, expectations are growing that Korean investors’ estimated losses in Hong Kong stock market-tied equity-linked securities (ELS) products might be brought down.The HSCEI, which tracks the performances of major Chinese stocks listed on the Hong Kong stock market, has been hovering over 6,500 points for three consecutive trading sessions, since the index exceeded 6,500 points for the first time in nine months since last September.Compared to the start of this year, the index has soared by more than 32 percent, due mainly to the Chinese government’s initiative announced earlier this year to prop up shareholder value of Chinese stocks.Market watchers say if the index continues its upward trend, domestic investors’ losses from the HSCEI-tied ELS products may decrease.According to data compiled by the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS), the total outstanding amount of HSCEI-linked ELS products sold at domestic banks, whose maturity set between April and the end of the year, stands at around 9.9 trillion won ($7.2 billion).
When simply applying the average investment loss rate of 50.1 percent as of March, the total projected loss from the ELS products amounts to 4.95 trillion won.The banking industry anticipates that the expected losses borne by six Korean banks from their mis-selling of the ELS products might decrease by approximately 1 trillion won if the Hong Kong index maintains its current level above 6,500 points throughout this month, as the loss rate could decrease to 40 percent to 45 percent.It is also expected that if the index rises above 7,500 points, some portions of the investors may be able to recover their principal investments.
