Kiwoom Heroes snapped a seven-game losing streak by defeating the Hanwha Eagles.
Kiwoom defeated Hanwha Eagles 7-1 in the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League at Hanwha Life Eagles Park in Daejeon on Nov. 11. The win snapped a seven-game losing streak and improved Kiwoom’s record to 16-23 on the season, pushing Hanwha back to ninth place with a 15-24 record.
Starting pitcher Enmanuel De Jesus, who returned to the first team after being scratched from the roster for the break, pitched six innings of three-hit ball with two walks and three strikeouts to earn his fifth win of the season. Kim Sung-min pitched one scoreless inning to earn the hold, and Park Yoon-seong pitched the second inning to preserve the win.
At the plate, Ko Young-woo led the way with three hits and three RBIs. Dawson and Kim Hwijip also recorded multi-hit <a href="https://forum.gettinglost.ca/user/totosafeguidecom1" title="games">games</a>, while Lee Yong-kyu hit a walk-off solo home run, his first home run in 940 days since October 14, 2021 against Kiwoom NC.
Kiwoom put runners on second and third in the top of the first after Dawson doubled up the middle, but Lee struck out to end the inning. In the top of the second inning, Kiwoom put runners on first and second with back-to-back singles by Go Young-woo and Kim Hwijip, but Lee Won-seok flied out to center field, Kim Jae-hyun grounded out to third base, and Lim Ji-yeol singled to left field to end the threat.
Go Young-woo then broke the 0-0 tie with a single. In the top of the third inning, with Kim Hye-sung and Lee Joo-hyung on first and second after back-to-back walks, Go Young-woo took a four-pitch fastball from Hwang Jun-seo to bring in Kim Hye-sung from second base. After Go Young-woo singled, Kim walked on a wild pitch to load the bases, and Kiwoom scored on an infield single by Lee Won-seok.
One more run was added in the top of the sixth, and a solo home run by Lee Yong-kyu in the top of the eighth made the score 4-0. Go Young-woo singled again with runners on first and second after Park Soo-jong was hit by a pitch and Lee Joo-hyung singled to left, bringing both runners home and essentially sealing the game.
Manager Hong Won-ki, who was looking forward to Heisu’s long innings before the game, said, “He came back after 10 days off and pitched a perfect game. Thanks to his <a href="https://www.totosafeguide.com" title="먹튀검증">먹튀검증</a> strong pitching, we were able to take a good lead from the beginning of the game,” said Hong, who praised Heisu’s pitching.
“On offense, Koh Young-woo’s leadoff single in the third inning awakened the bats. Kim Hye-sung also contributed on offense with a single and a diving catch. In the eighth inning, Lee Yong-kyu’s solo shot and Ko Young-woo’s two RBIs sealed the game.” He also applauded the batsmen.
“I want to thank and apologize to the fans for their support despite our recent poor results,” Hong said, “Thanks to them, we were able to break the losing streak today. We will prepare well for the next game so that we can show a good performance.”

Manchester City is back at the top of the table. A historic fourth consecutive Premier League (PL) title is now within reach.
Manchester City defeated Fulham 4-0 in the 37th round of the 2023-2024 PL at Craven Cottage in London, England, at 8:30 p.m. ET on Nov. 11.
With the win, City leapfrogged Arsenal (83 points) into first place with 85 points (27 wins, 5 draws, 5 losses). City moved one step closer to a fourth consecutive PL title, a first in history. Fulham, who collapsed at home, remained in 13th place with 44 points.
City started in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Elling Holland, Phil Foden, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Mateo Kovacic, Rodrigo, Yoshiko Gvardiol, Nathan Ake, Ousmane Dias, Manuel Akanji, and Éderson started in the back four.
Fulham also went with a 4-2-3-1 <a href="https://forum.gettinglost.ca/user/totopickpro1" title="formation">formation</a>. Hodrigo Muniz, Willian-Andreas Pereira-Bobby Reid, Joao Palinha-Alex Iwobi, Anthony Robinson-Calvin Bashi-Isa Diop-Timothy Castagne, and Bernd Leno started up front.
City took an early lead. In the 13th minute, Gvardiol burst forward and played a one-two with De Bruyne to get into the box, where he beat the Fulham defense before slotting home a pinpoint right-footed finish to give City the lead.
Then came the injury blow. In the 16th minute, Ake suddenly went down and struggled to get up. He shook his head in pain. Pep Guardiola eventually brought on Kyle Walker in place of Ake.
City came out firing in the final minutes of the first half. On a counterattack in the 38th minute, De Bruyne’s shot was blocked by the defense, and Silva’s shot was deflected in the 43rd minute. On the ensuing corner, Akanji missed a crucial chance.
The first half ended with City leading 1-0. Fulham failed to create a single shot in the first half.
City added an insurance goal. In the 14th minute of the second half, Foden found the corner of the net with a powerful right-footed shot from inside the box. He performed his trademark ‘sniper’ move for his 17th goal of the season.
Holland blew a perfect opportunity in the 16th minute of the <a href="https://www.totopick.pro/토토사이트.html" title="토토사이트">토토사이트</a> second half when he found himself one-on-one in the box and looked to score with a left-footed curling effort, but the ball left his foot and was ridiculously wide of the goal. Holland’s teammates held their heads in their hands in frustration.
Gvardiol recorded a multi-goal performance. In the 26th minute, Silva sent an alley-cross behind the defense. Gvardiol ran onto it and finished with his foot. The goal was initially ruled offside, but after video review, the goal was awarded.
City made it 4-0 in stoppage time. De Gea was fouled in the box and awarded a penalty, which he converted. Julian Alvarez stepped up to the spot kick and rattled the net. The game ended with a big win for City.

FC Seoul captain Ki Sung-yueng was the victim of a water bottle throw during a heated match.
Seoul hosted Incheon United in the 12th round of the Hana Bank K League 1 2024 on Nov. 11 at the Incheon Football Stadium. After conceding an early goal in the first half, Seoul came back to win 2-1 in the second half thanks to a multi-goal performance from Willian.
The game was a fierce clash of rivalries between Seoul and Incheon, who are bound together by the Gyeongin Derby. In the last minute of the first half, Choi Joon and Jerso got tangled up in a nervous tussle, even when they weren’t in the box, and it got even more heated when Jerso was sent off for a direct challenge on Choi Joon.
In the second half, both teams continued to play rough, and some spectators became unruly after the game. Incheon supporters threw dozens of water bottles at Seoul <a href="https://forum.gettinglost.ca/user/oncasinositenet" title="goalkeeper">goalkeeper</a> Baek Jong-beom. This was because he turned around and did a victory celebration after the final whistle.
The enraged Incheon fans almost injured Ki Sung-yueng when they threw the bottles at him. He was hit with a water bottle and was in pain for a while. He lay on the ground for a long time and was only able to walk after some time with the help of the staff.

The match supervisors in Seoul and Incheon will investigate the factors that led to the bottles being thrown, whether any foreign objects other than water bottles were thrown, and evidence that Ki Sung-yueng was hit, and submit the findings to the KFA.

FC Seoul came from behind to beat Daegu FC in the K League 1 thanks to a multi-goal performance from Willian. Park Chang-hyun’s Daegu FC earned their first win in the league thanks to a goal and two assists from Se Jing-ya. Gangwon FC and Daejeon Hanatisseon played a three-goal thriller.
Kim Ki-dong’s Seoul defeated Incheon United 2-1 in the 12th round of the Hana Bank K League 1 2024 at the Incheon Football Stadium on Nov. 11.
Seoul conceded an early goal to Incheon Mugosa, but took advantage of a late first-half sending-off to take the lead. Incheon’s Jerso and Seoul’s Choi Jun clashed, with Jerso receiving a direct red card for a second challenge.
Seoul fought back at the start of the second half, thanks in large part to Willian, who came on as a substitute. Willian equalized in the third minute of the second half and rattled the net again in the 17th minute with a left-footed shot. The goal was initially credited to Incheon Yonichi, but was later overturned as an own goal by Willian.
With the win, Seoul climbed to fifth place in the <a href="https://forum.gettinglost.ca/user/sportstotolink" title="league">league</a> (W4 D3 L5 D5 – 15 points). Incheon, on the other hand, is seventh in the league (3W, 5D, 4L, 14 points).
After the game, Seoul goalkeeper Baek Jong-beom performed a ceremony, and water bottles flew from the Incheon supporters’ section. Many bottles were thrown into the stadium, hitting players including Seoul’s Ki Sung-yong. Ki Sung-yong was unable to stand up for a while and had to be helped off the field by staff.
On the same day, Daegu came from behind to beat Gwangju FC 3-2 at home at DGB Daegu Bank Park.
The two teams traded two goals in the first half alone. After Gwangju took the lead in the fifth minute with a fantastic turning shot from Lee Eun-hee, Park Yong-hee rattled the net a minute later on a counterattack. Three minutes later, Gwangju’s Byun Jun-soo took the lead again from a set piece, but Daegu equalized again when Jung Jae-sang headed home a pass from Se Jing-ya.
The second half featured saves from both goalkeepers, but the game was decided by penalty kicks (PK) in the final minute. On a counterattack, Kim Young-joon was brought down by Lee Sang-gi after receiving a cross from Sejingya. Sejingya stepped up to the spot kick and slotted it to the right side for his debut goal of the season and the game-winning goal.
With his performance, Sejingya became the sixth player in the K League to join the 60-60 club. Sejingya’s career record in the K League is 89 points and 61 assists in 239 games. He has 78 points and 53 assists in 203 games in the K League 1 and 11 points and eight <a href="https://www.sportstoto.link" title="안전놀이터">안전놀이터</a> assists in 36 games in the K League 2.
Daegu earned their first win under Park Chang-hyun and escaped a seven-match winless streak (four draws and three losses).
Daegu moved up to 11th place (2W, 5D, 5L, 11 points), while Gwangju, whose two-game winning streak came to a halt, is ninth (4W, 7L, 12 points).
Finally, Gangwon and Daejeon played to a 3-3 draw at Chuncheon Songam Sports Town. Daejeon took a 2-1 lead in the first half through goals from Jung Kang-min and Lee Jun-gyu. Gangwon fought back in the second half with a sensible equalizer from Lee Sang-heon and a late goal from Yago.
However, there were mixed fortunes in the final defense. Daejeon’s Kim Hyun-woo was pushed down by Gangwon’s Kim Young-bin, earning a PK. Mlapa stepped up to the spot kick and slotted it home to the left side for a dramatic equalizer.
Gangwon remained in fourth place in the league (W4 D4 L4 D4 – 16 points). Daejeon drops to 11th in the league (2W, 5D, 5L, 11 points).

Avenging a blowout loss the day before (3-10), Samsung remained in third place with a season record of 22 wins, 17 losses, and one draw (0.564 winning percentage), and closed the gap on second-place NC back to one game. On the other hand, NC, which had a chance to catch up with the first-place KIA Tigers with a loss, could not continue its good run.
Ahead of the first game of the series on Tuesday, the managers of both teams commented on their respective No. 4 hitters. Power abuse allegations raised against Korea’s top envoy to China by one of the embassy staffers were found to not be serious enough to warrant disciplinary action, the foreign ministry said Tuesday.The ministry reached the conclusion after conducting a 10-day inquiry into the allegations that Ambassador Chung Jae-ho verbally harassed and treated the embassy official in an arrogant and authoritarian manner.The complaint also included allegations that Chung pressured Korean companies in China to pay for the costs to set up business promotion booths at embassy events.
