<p>“<span class="break-words"><span dir="ltr">Having done my undergraduate training in Mechanical engineering and my doctoral studies in the field of Mechanobiology, I have always been intrigued by the role of physical forces in orchestrating different cellular behavior ranging from initial stages of embryo development to the complex pathological events of cancer progression.<br />Simple lab based miniaturized cellular model systems not only provide an in-depth understanding of a tissue’s response to these mechanical forces but they also serve as small test-beds for measuring different levels of drug efficacy.<br />Here at the Physical Microfluidics and Bioengineering lab of <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/institut-pasteur/" data-attribute-index="0" data-entity-hovercard-id="urn:li:fs_miniCompany:10849" data-entity-type="MINI_COMPANY">Institut Pasteur</a> , I have been using my skills acquired during the previous trainings to develop a novel device/platform for studying the role of Mechanical forces on different Organ specific healthy and diseased tissues. During the design and development phase, one of the most exciting moment for me was to bring my miniaturized device to life, thanks to <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/fluigent/" data-attribute-index="2" data-entity-hovercard-id="urn:li:fs_miniCompany:736374" data-entity-type="MINI_COMPANY">Fluigent</a> based microfluidic controllers for doing this part of the job. These controllers are not only robust in performance but are also very easy to use and programme.<br />As the <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/fluigent/" data-attribute-index="4" data-entity-hovercard-id="urn:li:fs_miniCompany:736374" data-entity-type="MINI_COMPANY">Fluigent</a> this month is celebrating their 15 successful years of completion, I would like to congratulate and thanks their entire team for providing tools to advance the science all around the world, and for providing an opportunity to share my science story.
