  168. This follows Pagewood and joint venture partner CenterSquare Investment Management last month acquiring Gateway Industrial Commons, a 621K SF industrial portfolio of 46 buildings throughout nine business parks.
  169. Pagewood acquired Georgibelle Business Park from Buffalo Real Estate Partners. It spans 4.5 acres and includes nine buildings with spec offices and warehouses ranging from 500 to 5,500 SF.

  353. While not yet finalized, the award is expected to be announced next week during President Joe Biden's trip to Syracuse, New York. The memory chipmaker is planning a massive manufacturing complex there with up to four buildings, Sen. Chuck Schumer told Syracuse.com. An Idaho plant is also in the works.

  496. The online retailer is planning to use its same-day fulfillment centers for delivery of perishable groceries and pharmacy goods, CEO Andy Jassy wrote in a letter to shareholders this week.
  497. The company has 58 of these same-day delivery sites in the largest metropolitan areas in the U.S., allowing it to assemble and ship customer orders in as little as 11 minutes, Jassy wrote.

  593. Details on the deals are slim, but both were new leases for the e-commerce giant, according to a first-quarter report from Savills. Amazon leased about 1M SF at a PGIM Real Estate and CT Realty-owned property at 6120 Clinker Drive in Jurupa Valley and another 1M SF at 4000 S. Hamner Ave. in Ontario, a Dermody Properties-owned site.

  639. A flurry of these projects blew through Orange County in 2021, and the trend seems to have caught on in other parts of SoCal. As with most conversion projects, though, owners embarking on office-to-industrial renovations have to jump hurdles, including zoning challenges, picky neighbors and office tenants staying put. But the projects are still desirable for those companies that can find solutions.
