  542. <li>Work in close collaboration with Masters&#8217; principals, Account Executive and Account Associates</li>
  543. <li>Manage a book of business with a mix of medium to large size commercial insurance accounts</li>
  544. <li>Negotiate coverages, rates and premiums with insurance underwriters and Master’s clients</li>
  545. <li>Create and update new business and renewal submissions and market new and existing business</li>
  546. <li>Conduct annual renewal reviews and client meetings, including preparing a claims’ history assessment</li>
  547. <li>Review inspection reports and follow up for outstanding recommendations</li>
  548. <li>Conduct risk assessment of clients’ operations and insurance needs and determine appropriate insurance coverages to offer clients’</li>
  549. <li>Prepare risk management strategies to improve clients’ risk exposures and focus on improving clients’ existing coverages</li>
  550. <li>Manage accounts receivable on the accounts that you are handling</li>
  551. <li>Work closely with the claims department and clients during claims’ negotiations and settlements</li>

  553. <p><strong>Candidate Skills &amp; Qualifications</strong></p>
  554. <p>Required:</p>
  555. <ul>
  556. <li>RIBO License</li>
  557. <li>Minimum of three (3) years&#8217; work experience in commercial lines department at an Insurance Brokerage and/or Insurance company in a similar role and/or with similar duties and responsibilities</li>
  558. <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs including Outlook, Word, Excel</li>
  559. <li>In the process of completing CAIB, CIP and/or CRM designations</li>
  560. </ul>
  561. <p>An asset:</p>
  562. <ul>
  563. <li>Completed CAIB, CIP and/or CRM designations</li>
  564. <li>Familiarity with The Agency Manager (TAM)</li>
  565. <li>Working knowledge and/or understanding of construction insurance</li>
  566. <li>Previous business experience in operating your own business or running a business for others knowledge of construction, retail or manufacturing industries</li>
  567. <li>Knowledge of MS PowerPoint</li>
  568. <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills</li>
  569. <li>Excellent organizational and time management abilities</li>
  570. <li>Self-motivation with ability to problem-solve with limited supervision</li>
