So far Xiaomi’s flagship line consisted of three devices – Vanilla, The Pro, and Ultra, with the first two launch in China in China, and the vanilla model was launched with Ultra in February.

However, things will change this year. Xiaomi is now rumored to create an additional device in 16 lineups. Thus, we will find the vanilla option as usual, but it will be launched in China next month with not one, but with two Pro models. One of these will be small, 6.3 “with screen, the other with large, 6.8” panel. Today some details about the former have been leaked.

Xiaomi 15

It is said that Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (as they are all, by the way). It will allegedly claim a 50 MP main camera with a 50 MP main camera with a 1/1.28-inch type sensor, a periscope telephoto camera, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and wireless charge. Also expect high dust and water resistance.

In the past, the Pro model did not get an international launch, and it is not clear whether this time will be true for both pro shapes – we are clearly expecting that we will look at this compact repetition at least outside China.

Camera control (calling it a button) was victorious by Apple last year with the iPhone 16 family. This launch was an important part of the presentation, and even got its own advertisements.

However, it seems that many people are not really using it – at least what is a new rumor on Weibo’s claims. However, note that this information does not come from a source that has any type of track record, so accuracy is not given. Anyway, the tipster in the question claims that Apple has found that almost no camera uses control.

Thus, the iPhone 17 generation will actually be the last one – it will go into the iPhone 18 series. So it will only last for two generations. Apparently, Apple has already informed its relevant suppliers that it will no longer need any component related to camera control.

If this is true, what do you think? Will you be sad to see the camera control? Or was you not interested in starting with it? Tell us in the comments.

Galaxy S25 A UI 8 Beta 5 for Chungelog

Changelog is almost completely about bug fixing and adaptation, which is another reason that we think this is the final update before the stable release. Samsung is probably done with new features implementing, so it is now squashing the bugs to prepare the software for the public.

Lots of bug fixes, and the update weighs about 1.8GB and also distributes the security patch August 2025.

Yesterday, a Reddit user uploaded a shot showing the antuat score of undeclared Google Pixel 10 Pro XL next to the Pixel 9 Pro XL. The next-round phone managed the overall better score, but with some strange misses, especially in the GPU Department.

Now, Same user It seems that Geekbench 6 is running on the same two devices, and you can see the results below.

Pixel 10 Pro XL manages a single-core score of 2,296 and a multi-core score of 6,203 respectively, vs. Vs its predecessor 1,889 and 4,247,.

This is thus a massive improvement, especially in multi -core scores – this is 46% uplift. In a single-core score it is only 21% better, but it is still something, of course.

This benchmark run has revealed the configuration of tensor G5 CPU. It has seen a core at 3.78 GHz, five cores are seen at 3.05 GHz, and two core are at 2.25 GHz. The Pixel 10 Pro XL that runs the benchmark has 16 GB RAM and uncertainly boots Android 16, which must be launched with the entire Pixel 10 family.

Talking about that launch, the official announcement is at 10 am local time in California on 20 August. Stay

To achieve this, Apple has expanded the iPhone production in five factories in India, including a pair that was recently opened by Tata Group and FoxConn. Interestingly, the Tata group will be about 50%in India’s iPhone manufacturing.

This is going to happen for the first time that all new iPhone models will ship from India to America with launch. Earlier, the price of iPhone exports from India has increased to $ 7.5 billion from April to July. In early 2026, the iPhone 17E will also be built in India for the US market. Apple first assembled the iPhone SE in India in 2017, and the production in the country was first expanded in 2021.

Google gang, the wait is almost over – the next generation of Pixel phones are around the corner. With so many leaks in the build-up to the unveiling, it feels like they are already official. They aren’t – yet. Here’s a summary of everything we’ve seen and heard so far.

The Google Pixel 10 family

By the way, you can watch the Pixel 10 series unveiling here. The event starts at 5 PM UTC and will be hosted by Jimmy Fallon. Lando Norris, Stephen Curry, the Jonas Brothers and more will be in attendance.

A new chipset that can change everything

Pixels are famous for their cameras, Google isn’t stingy with RAM or even battery capacity (charge speed is another matter). The one thing that was holding back the Pixel line compared to other flagships was the rather mid-range chipset.

The Tensor G5 is the first of the family to be fabbed by TSMC instead of Samsung. This implies a new design for the chip (G1 through G4 were based on Exynos designs), but details are fairly scarce.

We saw the AnTuTu results from the Pixel 10 Pro XL, which were quite promising – the 16% overall improvement is fairly modest, but the CPU score went up by a whopping 73%. We’ve also seen Geekbench scores from the foldable, which showed a solid if less impressive improvement (around 30% in the multi-core test).

<a onclick="javascript:ShowImg2("news/25/08/google-pixel-10-what-to-expect/popup/gsmarena_020.jpg");return false" href="#">
<a onclick="javascript:ShowImg2("news/25/08/google-pixel-10-what-to-expect/popup/gsmarena_021.jpg");return false" href="#">

Early AnTuTu and Geekbench results from the Tensor G5 chipset

There is some cause for concern, however. The GPU score was 12% lower than the G4 score. Google is rumored to be switching vendors – from an ARM Mali to an Imagination GPU. This could mean a weaker GPU or it could be just that Google still hasn’t tweaked the drivers for the new hardware. If Google can boost the GPU score, the overall AnTuTu score will also go up – those 16% may be underselling what the Tensor G5 is capable of. We will know more soon.

Magnets, finally… kinda

The Pixel 10 series is rumored to support Qi 2.2 charging with magnets built into the phones themselves (rather than relying on magnets in the case, like Qi 2.1). This will bring with it a new breed of magnetically-attached accessories – Pixelsnap.

Based on leaks, there will be three out of the gate – a magnetic charger, a charger with a stand and a “Ring Stand”. A series of new first-party cases leaked, which will presumably work alongside the Pixelsnap accessories (MagSafe cases have magnets in them to strengthen the magnetic field, which would normally be weaker due to the thickness of the case). Of course, these accessories should be able to snap on a “naked” phone too.

<a onclick="javascript:ShowImg2("news/25/08/google-pixel-10-what-to-expect/popup/gsmarena_022.jpg");return false" href="#">
<a onclick="javascript:ShowImg2("news/25/08/google-pixel-10-what-to-expect/popup/gsmarena_023.jpg");return false" href="#">
<a onclick="javascript:ShowImg2("news/25/08/google-pixel-10-what-to-expect/popup/gsmarena_024.jpg");return false" href="#">

Official Pixel 10-series cases – now with magnets

Note that a different leak claimed that the magnets will be built only into the cases and not the phones themselves. This means that the cases will be required to use the Pixelsnap accessories. Fingers crossed that this leak is wrong, but don’t hold your breath either – even though Google was one of the pioneers of magnets and wireless charging, it has shown reluctance in adopting cool new features.

Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL specs

The Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL will have 6.3” and 6.8” displays, respectively. These should be 120Hz LTPO panels with 3,000 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection (same glass on the back too).

These two will have bigger batteries than their predecessors – 4,870mAh and 5,200mAh, respectively. This is +170mAh and +140mAh compared to the 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL. Nothing crazy like we’re seeing with Si/C battery tech, but we’ll take it.

Charging will be a smidge faster at 29W wired for the small Pro and 39W for the Pro XL (that’s +2W for each). Wireless charging is expected to get a similar bump to 15W (+3W), though Pixel-branded stands could go higher. The major charging upgrade this generation is the addition of magnets – assuming that pans out, of course.

Google Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL

These two are expected to share the same camera hardware. This means a 50MP main camera, 48MP ultra-wide and a new 48MP telephoto lens with tele-macro mode.

<a onclick="javascript:ShowImg2("news/25/08/google-pixel-10-what-to-expect/popup/gsmarena_010.jpg");return false" href="#">

Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL details

The two Pros will be able to focus as close as 10cm (4”) with their tele cameras, while the ultra-wide modules (which already had a macro mode) will get even closer – 2cm (less than 1”). Like last year, we expect the Pros to have 42MP selfie cameras with ultra-wide lenses.

Camera details for the Pixel 10 family

The Google Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL will be available in four colors: Moonstone (blue-gray), Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white) and Jade (light green). The “visor” design is largely unchanged from last year.

Google Pixel 10 Pro XL in Moonstone and Obsidian

The Tensor G5 will be paired with 16GB of RAM and you will be able to choose from the full range of storage options: 128GB (10 Pro only), 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. The new model will retain satellite connectivity for SOS messages.

Vanilla Pixel 10 with a tele camera

For the first time, the vanilla Google Pixel 10 will have a telephoto camera – a fairly basic 11MP unit, according to leaks, and it is coming at the cost of the high-resolution ultra-wide that the Pixel 9 enjoyed (this model is only getting a 13MP UW camera), but that’s better than trying to squeeze out digital zoom from the 50MP main.

<a onclick="javascript:ShowImg2("news/25/08/google-pixel-10-what-to-expect/popup/gsmarena_012.jpg");return false" href="#">

Google Pixel 10 details

The Pixel 10 series is expected to have “gimbal-like” stabilization for its telephoto cameras. Yes, all models from the mid-range Pixel 10 to the pricey Pixel 10 Pro Fold. New AI features like Camera Coach and Conversational Photo Editing will debut with the 10-series and will be back-ported to older models via Pixel Feature Drops.

All Pixel 10 phones will also have upgraded ultrasonic FP readers, which will be “faster than before”, though that is as much detail as we got.

<a onclick="javascript:ShowImg2("news/25/08/pixel-10-trio-images/inline/-1200x900m/gsmarena_001.jpg");return false" href="#">

Google Pixel 10

The vanilla Pixel 10 will be powered by the same Tensor G5 chipset as its Pro siblings, giving it tons of performance. It should have less RAM than them. Even if it sticks to 12GB, it would still compare well to the likes of Galaxy S and iPhone flagship models.

The vanilla model will be available in four creatively-titled colors: Iris, Ultra Blue, Limoncello, and Midnight. It’s easier to just look at the images above than to try and guess what those mean.

Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold

Previous Google foldables were perhaps affected by the poor Tensor performance the worst – they were far too expensive to handle like a mid-range phone. We’re not saying that the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be cheap – pricing details are in the chapter below – but at least performance will be closer to what we expect.

This model will have a slightly larger cover display at 6.4” (up from 6.3” on its predecessor), but this could be due to slimmer bezels as the main display inside remains the same size, 8.0”. Leaked specs show an LTPS 1080p+ panel outside and an LTPO 2,076 x 2,156px panel inside with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.

<a onclick="javascript:ShowImg2("news/25/08/google-pixel-10-what-to-expect/popup/gsmarena_015.jpg");return false" href="#">
<a onclick="javascript:ShowImg2("news/25/08/google-pixel-10-what-to-expect/popup/gsmarena_016.jpg");return false" href="#">

Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold details

We could see hinge improvements with new multi-alloy steel and aerospace-grade high-strength aluminum materials. The new Fold will weigh effectively the same as before at 258g. Unexpectedly, it will be thicker than its predecessor at 5.2mm unfolded and 10.8mm folded (vs. 5.1mm and 10.5mm for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold).

This is odd to see at a time when makers race to one-up each other with ever-thinner foldables. Still, the bigger battery capacity – 5,015mAh, up from 4,650mAh – is a solid excuse for the extra bulk. Charge speed will improve to 30W over USB-C and 15W over Qi 2.2 (vs. 21W and 7.5W, respectively).

This model will have a 48MP main camera, a 10.5MP ultra-wide and a 10.8MP 5x telephoto, plus two 10MP selfie cameras, so no major changes here.

Prices & availability

Good news – the Pixel 10 phones will cost the same as their 2024 predecessors. There are a few details to note, e.g. the Pixel 10 Pro XL will no longer be available in 128GB capacity, so the base model (now 256GB) is technically pricier. That said, how many people bought a 128GB Pro XL, anyway?

Here are the prices for the US and Canada.

We also saw prices for India – not a detailed breakdown, but it’s enough to tell us that there won’t be any price hikes this year. For 256GB models, the Pixel 10 will be INR 79,999, the Pixel 10 Pro will be INR 1,09,999 and the Pixel 10 Pro XL will be INR 1,24,999. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold will go for INR 1,72,999.

The above prices will include a full year of the Google AI Pro plan for “select Pixel phones”. This is valued at $239 and even if you don’t care about access to the advanced Gemini models, the 2TB of cloud storage can be used for Drive, Photos and Gmail.

From what we understand, the whole Pixel 10 family will be available for pre-order immediately after the August 20 unveiling. Shipping and open sales will start on August 28 for the Pixel 10, 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL.

However, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, the new watch and buds will be delayed by over a month to October 9.

Google Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a

In addition to the new phones, Google will also launch a new watch and new affordable TWS buds. The Google Pixel Watch 4 will be available in 41mm and 45mm sizes and in Wi-Fi and LTE flavors.

The Pixel Watch 4 will have a bigger battery – 327mAh (+20mAh) for the 41mm model and 459mAh (+39mAh) for the 45mm version. This could be paired with a small change in chipset to bring a significant upgrade to battery life. Charging will be 25% faster than the Watch 3, so 0-50% will be done in 15 minutes, to 80% in 30 minutes.

The Google Pixel Buds 2a will gain Active Noise Cancellation (though without the Silent Seal 2.0 feature of the Buds Pro 2) and Spatial Audio support (without head tracking). They will have longer battery life than the original A-series (up to 7 hours for the buds, up from 5 hours), but will miss out on wireless charging.

The new buds will be available in several colors, including Strawberry, Hazel and Fog Light.

But wait, there’s more…

The Google Pixel 10 announcement will be a star-studded event that will be hosted by Jimmy Fallon. The talk show host made a YouTube Short teasing “secret products” that will debut at the event. This will be the 10th generation of Pixel phones, so Google might have something special prepared. At the very least, we expect to see a new color for the Pixel Buds Pro 2.

Our Honor Magic V5 Review is coming, and we have already completed many of our in-house tests, including battery life and charging components.

The international version of the Magic V5 is equipped with a trendy silicon-carbon battery, with a capacity of 5,820 mAh (vs. 6,100 mAh Chinese model) and comes with 66W wired charging support. When it comes to endurance, the phone was not disappointed, getting an active use score 11 hours and 52 minutes,

The results put forward the Magic V5 in the form of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Huawei Met X6 and the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold in the same ballpark. We also see a noticeable step from last year’s Magic V3.

We also tested on the external display, with the main one twisted. V5 scored equal active use for its predecessor, but with various proportions, including noticeable benefits in calls and gaming components.

Proceeding in charging tests, Magic V5 showed some competent speed and completed the full charge 53 minutesThe phone was sitting at 36% after 15 minutes on the charger and reached 67% on the half -hour mark.

These results place the magic V5 to the right behind the major contestants such as Oppo finds N5 and Vivo X Fold3, which rapidly claims 80W and 120W charging support.
