Will last summer’s exodus of stars to Saudi Arabia be repeated?
Major media outlets such as the Daily Mail, a popular British newspaper, have focused on the outflow of players from Manchester City and Liverpool in anticipation of the summer transfer market ahead of the end of the season.
Al Nasr, Al Hilal, and Al Ittihad, which are owned by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund (PIF), have been busy signing players from the winter transfer market since January last year, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Neymar, Sadio Mane, Aleksandar Mitrovic, and others.
They’re paid huge salaries and live in luxurious mansions and other ultra-premium living conditions. They have to play in the Asian Football Confederation Champions League (ACL) rather than the UEFA Champions League (UCL), but that doesn’t matter as long as they get results.
While the major European clubs are worried about losing their top <a href="https://decidim.torrelles.cat/profiles/totosafeguidecom1/activity" title="players">players</a>, Saudi Arabia is looking to strengthen its domestic soccer league to gain a foothold in Asian hegemony and boost its confidence in its ability to influence world soccer with the power of oil money.
Immediate summer transfer targets include Mohamed Salah and Alisson Becker (Liverpool) and Kevin De Bruyne and Ederson (Manchester City).
Salah has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia since last year. Al Ittihad are the favorites. Coincidentally, Jürgen Klopp’s departure from Liverpool has sparked speculation of a squad overhaul. Under Klopp, Salah was the center of the attack. The repercussions have been huge, with central defender Firmino van Dijk saying that he would likely leave the club if Klopp is gone.
The Egyptian-born player has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia as they share the same Islamic culture. If Salah were to leave, it would be a big problem for Liverpool. While other strikers would be able to fill the void, it would be difficult to find a player of Salah”s caliber in the immediate future.
Add to that, the goalkeeper Becker. The Reds are determined not to let go of Becker, but it”s a different story for a player who needs to earn big money.
Coincidentally, Becker is competing with Ederson for a starting spot on the Brazilian national soccer team. If they both travel to Saudi Arabia at the same time, it could shake the foundation of the Brazilian team.
De Bruyne has returned from injury and is still showing off his skills, but his slow recovery has exposed a weakness. His image as a soccer guru is still <a href="https://www.totosafeguide.com" title="먹튀검증">먹튀검증</a> intact, but he’ll need to keep his cool in the face of big money.
‘The Saudi league will reportedly sign around 10 of Europe’s biggest players,’ the outlet said. The spending may not be as big as it was in 2023, but no expense will be spared to keep the best players.
Of course, it’s unclear if he’ll be leaving so easily. The outlet added: ‘Salah is likely to remain at Liverpool in the next transfer window. Liverpool are also expected to offer Salah a new contract extension,” the report added.
Interestingly, no Arsenal player has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia. No media outlet is reporting that any Arsenal players are being offered by Saudi <a href="https://oncasinositeinfo2.wordpress.com" title="clubs">clubs</a>. Gabriel Jesus could be on the move, but without a striker, the Gunners are likely to hold on and see what happens next.
Of course, there are those who say that the Gunners will have to carefully weigh up any transfer offers from Saudi clubs if they want to profit from the transfer fee. The ‘King of Literature’ is back, after a ten-day absence that felt far too long. Han Yoo-seom (35-SSG Landers) came out of the gate firing on all cylinders to lead SSG to victory.
Han Yoo-seom started in the No. 5 spot at SSG Landers Field in Munhak-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon on Thursday in the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League home game against the Samsung Lions, going 1-for-2 with a two-run home run, one walk, one hit by pitch, one strikeout, two RBI and three runs scored in the team’s 9-2 victory.
SSG went 3-4 while Lee was on the disabled list after he felt pain in his left groin while playing first base against the NC Dinos on March 3 and was diagnosed with a micro-injury to his left vastus medialis (inner thigh muscle).
Speaking to the media before the game, SSG head coach Lee Sung-yong said, “Han Yoo-seom will <a href="https://decidim.torrelles.cat/profiles/totopickpro1/activity" title="play">play</a> as the No. 5 designated hitter. Fortunately, he came back after 10 days of good rest and his physical condition is good, so I think he will be able to breathe a little easier.”
Even with Choi Jung-jeong atop the home run list and Guillermo Heredia atop the batting average list, Han’s absence was felt. When asked if he felt the void of Han Yoo-seom, Lee said, “To be honest, it was very noticeable. (Ha) Jae-hoon and (Oh) Taegon didn’t do it, and the players who should have done it didn’t do it,” Lee said, adding, “But in the second game on Sunday, (Go) Myung-joon came back a little bit, and I think this week will be better. Han Yoo-seom made his presence felt early in the game. After drawing a walk in the top of the second inning and scoring on Ha Jae-hoon’s double, Han Yoo-seom took Won Tae-in’s two-pitch low changeup (125 kilometers per hour) over the left-center field fence for a massive 125-meter home run in the bottom of the third inning. With Han Yoo-seom’s 12th home run of the season on his return, SSG took an early 4-0 lead against the opposing ace.
Although Kang Baek-ho (KT) didn’t take the lead with a home run on the day, he moved into a tie for second place in home runs with Choi Jung and Jonathan Peraza (Hanwha), especially as the cannon proved to be a true ‘literary king’ with 10 home runs at SSG Landers Field alone.
After striking out in the sixth inning, Han Yoo-seom led off the seventh inning with a walk. With the game on the line after Heredia’s three-run <a href="https://www.totopick.pro/토토.html" title="토토">토토</a> homer in the previous at-bat, Hanyusum took offense to Lee Seung-min’s pitch as if it was intentional. He then crossed home plate for the third time on Oh Tae-gon’s two-run homer.
In the top of the ninth inning, with his team leading 9-2, Han Yoo-seom’s presence shone through. A ball that flew behind his body caused Gu Jauk to get excited and a bench-clearing brawl broke out. Han Yoo-seom quickly came out and played a key role in calming down the excited Gu and the Samsung players. Eventually, the situation was put to rest and SSG moved into a tie for fifth place with the LG Twins and within 2.5 games of the leaders, the Kia Tigers.
After the game, manager Lee Sung-yong praised the team, saying, “We had two home runs and five RBIs from the No. 3, 4, and 5 center field spots, and I feel like we’re stronger with Yoo coming back.”
Han Yoo-seom was also pleased with his performance, saying, “I was happy to be able to help the team by hitting a home run right after returning to the first <a href="https://blogshoki.wordpress.com" title="team">team</a>. I’m not in bad shape and I wanted to improve my game, but I got off to a good start and I want to continue this feeling,” he said. “In the home run at-bat, I tried to make a quick pitch and it was just what I was looking for, so it was a good hit.”
He also thanked his teammates. “As a veteran, I felt sorry and grateful to see my teammates struggle against a strong team while I was out last week. LG fell 0-5 against Kiwoom at Jamsil Stadium on Thursday. Kelly allowed nine hits in six innings of work, but kept the game scoreless. The third inning was the exception.
In the top of the third inning, Kelly gave up back-to-back singles to Dawson and Kim Hye-sung, the top two hitters for Kiwoom, and stole a <a href="https://decidim.torrelles.cat/profiles/oncasinositenet1/activity" title="base">base</a> to put runners on second and third. No. 4 Lee Ju-hyung induced a grounder to first base, and first baseman Austin made the catch for the first out.
Austin then saw second baseman Kim Hye-sung running and threw to second base. Shortstop Oh Hwan Oh caught it and threw to third baseman Moon Bo-kyung, who chased down Kim Hye-sung, who was running back to second base, but was unable to tag her and threw to the second baseman.

Jeon Jae-han (34) won his first professional victory in the KPGA Challenge Tour’s sixth event of the 2024 season (total prize fund of 100 million won – winner’s share of 20 million won) in a playoff.
Jae Han Jae carded five birdies and no bogeys in the second round of the final day at Solago CC Sol Course (Par 71-7208 yards) in Taean, Chungcheongnam-do, on Thursday for a 5-under 66. With a two-day total of 11-under 131, Jae-han Jae is tied with Yoo Hyun-joon (22-Golf Zone) for the lead.
After Yoo bogeyed the 17th (par-3) hole in the second overtime playoff, Jae Han Jae made par to win the title.
“I’m really happy to win my first title since I turned pro,” said Jaehan Jaehan after the <a href="https://decidim.torrelles.cat/profiles/sportstotolink1/activity" title="match">match</a>, “and I also want to praise myself for playing two days without a bogey and finally getting the win.”
Jae Han Jae was a dominant amateur player as a junior and amateur, collecting more than 40 trophies while playing under the name Eric Jeon. Born in Seoul, South Korea in 1990, Jeon moved to Malaysia in 1994, where he began playing golf at the age of 8. In 2004, he moved to Australia to pursue his dream of becoming a professional golfer.
She lived in Australia until 2006, when she enrolled at Northwestern University in 2008, where she played on the school’s golf team. In 2009, she finished runner-up at the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship in Shenzhen, China, where she earned a spot in the qualifying round for the De-Open, and then went on to qualify for the De-Open.
He turned professional after graduating from university in June 2012 and joined the Japan Tour Cue School that year, and has been playing on the Japan Tour since 2013. After competing in 13 tournaments and making the cut in nine of them but losing his seeding, Jae-han returned to Korea in 2014 and enlisted in the military in November.
After completing his military service in August 2016, Jaehan joined the KPGA Professional (Associate Member) in September, about a <a href="https://www.sportstoto.link" title="토토사이트">토토사이트</a> month later, and in June 2017, he earned his KPGA Tour Professional (Full Member) status. After playing on the second-tier tour, he made his debut on the KPGA Tour in 2020 after finishing tied for third at the 2019 KPGA Tour QT.
Jae Han Jae played on the KPGA Tour until the 2023 season. Last year, he was unable to maintain his seeding due to poor play, missing the cut in only five of his 17 tournaments. His best finish on the KPGA Tour in four years was a second-place finish at the Woosung General Construction Aramir CC Busan Gyeongnam Open in July 2021.
“Last year, I struggled mentally with my tee shots,” said Jae Han Jae, “and I’ve been working hard to improve and recover from that. My tee shots are starting to catch and my mentality is stronger. I’m slowly getting back on track,” he said.
“I want to get back on the KPGA Tour, and I think I’m one step closer with this <a href="https://sportstotosite.one" title="win">win</a>,” he continued, “There’s still a lot of season left, but I’ll do my best to be consistent in the remaining events. Becoming a ‘steady player’ is my goal as a golfer,” said Park.
Park Ji-min (27) and Park Do-hyung (31) finished tied for third at 10-under-par 132, while Canadian compatriots Jeong Sun-il (32) and Yoon Kyung-sik (24), winners of the inaugural event, finished tied for fifth at 9-under-par 133.
