Basically, that posh feeling, shouldn’t only be there when guests come over. Sure, dimmed lights and a fancy candle work wonders for a dinner party, but how do you keep that feeling alive on an ordinary Tuesday? Yes, even on that ordinary day inthe middle of the work week, you still deserve some comfort!
Just think of it this way; the rich and famous don’t pack up the glamour once the guests leave,it’s part of their everyday life. Now, how can you create this for yourself? Well, for the most part,it’s pretty effortless (as long as you keep the house clean on a daily basis. So, with all of that said, it’s about nailing those details, and here’s how you can do it!

This might be the biggest one of them all, and this one just can’t be stressed enough! So,lighting can take a room from “meh” to “wow” and no, you don’t even need any designer lamps either. So, luxurious spaces always have lighting that feels warm, layered, and intentional. Borrow Some Romance Books From the Library
Or horror books, if that’s more what you’re into! But most people like to dig into cheesy romances in order to relax of a weekend. If you’re on a low budget right now and can’t afford some new paperbacks, make sure you hit the library during the week instead. 
If the library doesn’t have the books you’re after, ask at the desk. They’ll be able to order the copies in for you to pick up later. You should also be able to download audiobooks from them; they may even have their <a href="https://www.overdrive.com/apps/libby" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">own app that’s free to use</a>. No more paying for premium audio services here either! 
Don’t Pay for a Streaming Subscription
A streaming subscription can be a total waste of money if you’re not glued to the screen for at least two weeks out of the month. So, don’t pay for one! Instead, look up free <a href="https://clearvpn.com/blog/netflix-alternatives/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">netflix alternatives</a> (and yes, they do exist!) and use them instead. 
You may have to cope with a few ads here and there but if it’s saving you money, it’s worth it. This way you can watch some fun new shows and tune out the rest of the world through them, and you also don’t ever have to touch your bank account for the privilege. 
Cook Your Own Takeaway
We know cooking over the weekend is a bit of a chore, but if you want to save money as well as eat something yummy, you’re going to have to bite the bullet here. You should be able to find <a href="https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/collection/takeaway-favourite-recipes" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">mock up recipes</a> of your takeaway favourites online – all you need to do now is get the ingredients in and throw them all together. The total cost of those is going to be at least half the price of ordering out, especially when you count the service and delivery fee on top!

Youtube is free to use, especially if you have an adblocker on your browser. As such, you’ll be able to find a wealth of free meditation tutorials to use in your own time when you need to take some deep breaths. If you’re a fan of yoga or ASMR, this is also the place to head!
