  123. <p>I also want to add another step that I&#8217;ve haven&#8217;t found in that article but found to be useful, how to join two AVI together. It is a simple command if you have <a href="http://www.transcoding.org/cgi-bin/transcode">transcode</a> installed (If not you can install it in a Debian based distro with <em>sudo apt-get install transcode</em>).</p>

We are going to install it on an <a href="http://httpd.apache.org/" target="_blank">Apache2 web server</a> with <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FastCGI" target="_blank">FastCGI</a>, using <a href="http://www.mysql.com/" target="_blank">MySQL as the database engine</a>, and of course we also have to install <a href="http://www.rubyonrails.com/" target="_blank">Ruby On Rails</a> because it is a requirement of Tracks. I think the best thing would be use <a href="http://subversion.tigris.org/" target="_blank">Subversion</a> to get the sources of Tracks because doing it so would make upgrading the installation a snap.</p>
