Organizations that continue to use these products may face increased security risks and compliance issues over time.<br /><br />Since January 2024, Microsoft's AutoUpdate also indicates that an upgrade is required for the Office programs.<br /><br />If you are still using Office 2019 for Mac, please upgrade to the current 2021 version.]]></description><guid isPermaLink="false">{e23d67fe-8d8a0502-d2e0920d-2c9e2de5}</guid><pubDate>Fri, 25 Oct 2024 23:03:22 +0200</pubDate></item><item><title><![CDATA[Security issue with the new Microsoft Outlook version for macOS]]></title><description><![CDATA[When setting up IMAP accounts in the new Microsoft Outlook version for macOS, the "Synchronize with Microsoft Cloud" option is enabled by default. <br /> <br />The following versions are affected:<ul><li>16.42 (20101102) and newer for Current Channel.<li>16.40 (20073000) and newer for Current Channel (Preview).<li>16.32 (19110306) and newer for Beta Channel.</ul>if they are set to "New Outlook" with the switch at the top right of the window.<br /><br />As with the Microsoft Outlook app for Android and iOS, this option means redirecting credentials as well as content to the Microsoft Cloud.
